Love it here!! Have been a seasonal camper since 2012 and the experience has been great. The bathhouse and bathrooms are always clean. All the staff are very friendly and there is always something to do. Fishing, swimming or hiking, arcade games, horse shoe pits, or swings for the kids,or just plain relaxing in the quiet of nature at its finest, the experience is always exceptional.

Would give this place 5 stars because of the beautiful lake and very nice, clean setup of the park but the first day here and we are trying to enjoy the water and beach on a beautiful sunny day but Mr. Lemonade stand guy has the back of his car open blaring political talk radio for the last two hours. Not really interested in listening to politics while I am relaxing on the beach and apparently lemonade guy will be here all week. Not real awesome.

Stayed here for a week. Very clean camp ground the staff is very friendly as well. Only complaint I have is I wish the sites were a little wider. Not much room between campers to sit outside. The park is very quiet at night. I also have to compliment the yard crew. They were mowing lawns. When they did our lot they moved our lawn chairs and put them right back when they were done. Awesome!!!!

I would have giving 10 plus stars. This place is beautiful. The way it is set up. So much to do at park. The only down fall. Is the roads a lot of big hills to go up and down. Not looking forward to leaving in morning. We have a huge hill to climb to get out of here. Will be having my eyes closed until we are out. Other than that. Its an amazing park. To bad it snows here dont think we would have left.

Not happy with our site. Very narrow/crowded sites, not sure how we will get out of site when we leave. Fire pits at each site but so close to each $100K-400K RV would not be intelligent to use the fire pit. Large rocks on site making it difficult and dangerous to walk. Definitely not pet friendly. Poor animals had no where to go because of all the restrictions. Never did find a dog park if there was one.

Some karen came and defended them and they denied all comments when they lied straight to their bosses face

Really nice lake! As well maintained and clean as you can get in a lake, really. Had a fun swim. There was a competent seeming lifeguard on hand. Looks like theres fishing too, catch and release. Facilities/rest rooms were convenient to the lake and clean. Parking was convenient; the lot is a bit.. Er, rustic campground but about what youd expect! Staff was friendly and helpful. I was there for a group outing, not to camp so i cant speak to the campsites and such, but as well looked after as what i did see was, Im sure theyre nice too. Wonderful park, very help and friendly staff! I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a nice peaceful place to stay.My only further recommendation would be that if you plan to spend anymore than a week in this area, look into buying an On-the-Go rv water softner. The water in this whole area is very iron heavy and over an extended period of time you will notice an orange build up on your plumbing fixtures without a softener.

Good RV park! Beautiful fall colors, lots of trees and a nice hiking path. Had a problem with our electric pedestal the second day and they were very attentive and responsive. The maintenance person came over within mins and had it fixed in about 30 mins. Their indoor facilities are nice, especially for a family and the grounds very well layed out. The campground was conveniently located near the Ohio Turnpike, but you could hear it at night. It is also close to the town of Streetsboro for shopping, 5 mins to the grocery. We also ate at a good restaurant at the local golf course(Barrel Lodge Bar and Grill), very good food and service! If you have time and want a really nice, fairly easy hike; drive about 20 mins to Squaw Rock, awesome local attraction and history. The only slightly negative issue is the water at our site had a bit of a sulfur smell and a little bit of discoloration. From what we understood from a local, not uncommon for that area. With our filter I have no issue using it for cooking and cleaning. We used store bought gallons of water to drink. Enjoy your stay if you get there next year!

Tent camped at Woodside this past weekend. First time at this park. We drove about three hours to tent camp with other members of our family who live in NE Ohio and to bike at the nearby national park. Here are our impressions of Woodside:1) Prior to our arrival, I had some questions. The owner and his staff members were very responsive and helpful in answering my questions. This was a good sign. I appreciated their good customer service.2) The park itself is beautiful with a decent sized lake out front. Looks like it would be a great place to swim in warm weather. From the road, the park has nice street appeal.3) We arrived and checked in at the office. Considering that our country is in the middle of a pandemic, their is a large sign on the office door that face coverings are required. I expected this and am in favor of people wearing masks to protect one another. However, when I walked in the office with my face covering on, only two of five people in the office was wearing a face covering. I found that strange. To be honest, I felt like my health and well being were not important by those in the office who were not wearing face coverings. As one who works in a health/medical field, I know quite a bit about the SARS-COV-2 virus and how it spreads by what we breathe. To require customers to wear a mask but employees in the office were not, was poor customer service. Therefore, I am deducting a point from my review for not protecting the health of their guests.4) When we checked in, we were not given any orientation regarding where the showers were, check out time, other policies, sites nearby to see, etc. That would have been nice. I recommend that those in the office give each new arrival a brief orientation. This type of positive customer service separates the best from the rest.5) Our campsite was very nice in the midst of RVs, both permanent and temporary. This is mostly an RV park. Each of our two sites had water, a fire pit, electricity, and a picnic table. The ground was mostly level with lots of grass around and a couple of trees above us. Some dead limbs in the trees need to be cut out. The restroom and a small playground were nearby. The play ground was a big hit with our younger grandkids... And it was the other kids nearby. Everyone was friendly and nice.6) The restroom was what you would expect at a private campground. It was clean. Cold water only, no heat, sink, toilet, no mirror, hand blower. Some heat would have been nice on our two 38 degree mornings. No hooks on the corrugated steel walls to hang your towel. Id recommend the owner install 2-3 hooks. Considering the young guys we saw cleaning the bathroom, we were surprised that there was no handsoap in the dispenser for two of our three days. Again, since our country is in the middle of a historic pandemic, to not have soap in the common bathroom is a significant oversight and reveals a lack of managerial supervision. I apologize for not calling the office. We simply took matters into our own hands and took our own soap with us each time anyone went to the restroom. On the plus side, we really liked the three, deep, stainless steel sinks and running water on the side of the bathroom. We used that often to wash our dirty dishes.7) The campground was mostly quiet after dark. On Saturday night there were a few younger adults who had obviously had too much to drink who who shouting around 10 pm. Again, this type of behavior and noise would likely be reduced if there were specific policies (e.g. no loud noises after 10 pm) and a brief orientation with everyone who checks in.Overall, we enjoyed our tent camping weekend at Woodside. The achieve a top rating, the owner and staff need to do those little extras... The 10% that separates the good from the great. Currently, Woodside is good but not great.

Not much to brag about here. Only perk we enjoyed was the location was reasonably close to Cleveland. Overrated and pricey in my opinion. Stayed here in a 43 ft. MH. The pull through sites are navigable enough, but they are fairly tight side to side, and the well water has stinky iron content that is off the charts. From that perspective, my rating should be a three. HOWEVER, it had plenty of activities for kids, and people seemed to be enjoying the small lake as well as all the playground equip and things to do. SO, from may vantage point as a full timer, its a stopover place. For those of you on the weekends, it is probably great, especially on the larger sites (or, maybe I just need a smaller rig ;-)

We have traveled from Michigan to stay at Woodside for a weekend family get-together for the past two years. It is a beautiful campground in rolling wooded hills near Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The sites at Woodside are roomy and attractive with very good hookups. Due to the terrain some leveling will likely be required. The park has many amenities, activities for kids, and a friendly hard-working owner and staff. The area is clean and neat including the out-lying pit toilets. Be advised to ask about proximity to possible group camp sites. Last year we had a beautiful quiet site and asked for the same area again, however this year we realized it was next to a group camping area as it soon filled with six tents and a crowd of excited campers fifty feet from our site. Woodside is a very nice destination with exceptional staff and picturesque setting. We would not hesitate to stay there again but will be sure to avoid sites near group camping areas.

We originally book a 50 amp full hook-up site, and they called us back to see if we could switch to a 30 amp site with more privacy. They were quick to offer a refund on the difference in price. When we first arrived we were concerned because it wasnt a full hook up. They did come with the Honey Sucker for us. As we walked the entire park, it is nice and large. We found that the section they put us in was far better then there full hook up sites (only 4). The family which owns this business are great people, very accommodating, and enjoyable to talk with. All our concerns were washed away during the 6 night stay including Memorial Day Weekend. They received 4 stars as there is still room for improvement: Offering more sewer sites though the park as well as improving the road conditions. I look forward to staying there again the next time we are in the area.
