I came to this dealership all the way from Milwaukee Wisconsin not knowing their reputation, just going off of what I seen from their online add and I can whole heartedly say this is one of the best dealerships I’ve worked with. I inquired about two jeeps and live over an hour away. I was assured due to covid that when I had my appt. at 7:30pm the two jeeps would be pulled up and the person I talked to would be at the dealership. I explained I did not want to drive all the way there if the jeeps werent there. I was assured that the jeeps were there. When I walked in the dealership, they did not even know I was coming and I was told by the sales manager, that the jeeps were loaners and that I could not even look at them. I specifically picked these jeeps off their website, and asked the women before I got there if they still had them on the lot. I was told they would not only be there but they would be pulled up for me waiting. I was also told, I had to go into their dealership because they needed to see and drive my car to asset the value. Not one person even looked at my car. The sales manager did not even wear his mask properly which made me uncomfortable because I have someone at home with a preexisting condition. The sales manager was rude and disregarding to me from the start. I would never suggest anyone buy a jeep at this dealership. Beware of the false information they give you.

Daniella was very personable and easy to talk to. She showed a genuine interest in my myself/my family and not just the possibility of a sale. I appreciated that. She was transparent in saying she wasnt sure about a question we had, but was quick to ask a colleague to make sure our question was fully answered. I think thats a great quality to have.

When my husband and I came to the dealership we really werent sure what we would end up doing. Our main goal was to look at the Wranglers and figure out if getting my dream car would be manageable for us. We first met our sales guy Bob outside while he was getting into my ACTUAL dream car and I jokingly said where are you going with me car!? He immediately offered to tell us more about the Wrangler, his excitement about all the cool features and the design kept drawing me in! We could tell he knew Jeeps. He didnt jump into any type of sales pitch, just offered to answer any questions we had and let us know hed be inside if we were ready to talk. When we were ready to sit down and talk about our financial options, Bob sat us down and offered us some water and let us lead the conversation. There was no messing around, just straight to the discussing realistic options. I know these Wrangles sell themselves, and I honestly did not get that yucky feeling you get sometimes when youre talking to someone whose whole purpose is to sell you something. I think Bob was honest and straightforward. When it was time to discuss financing and how the dealership could meet our needs, he wasnt pressuring us or telling us what to do. Bob has checked in twice now and weve only. had the car for a few days, hes made sure were still happy and has offered to help us with anything we need. Seriously ecstatic about driving my dream car now! Seriously thanks Bob!!!

I was called to bring my 2015 City Master Ram for oil usage recall, a 1 hr free of charge appointment on May 19, 2021- I went there but I could not find the “recall” I was asked to bring the car to the dealership for. So I asked the service guy to show me anything about this “recall”, after long discussion, he was not convinced that I had a right to ask for “proof” while he was on the phone with another person the whole time, then he handed me as a basket to another guy. He first sounded like convinced but told me several times that I shouldn’t be suspicious, it wasn’t them personally doing this recall service, it is within Chrysler the service call was sent to them from. They could not find a recall written anywhere. After 1 hr 45 min my car being in their hands, they said they couldn’t perform the recall anyway, because of an oil leak! My car has been sitting on a brand new concrete driveway, and never had a drip, I told them now it’s even more suspicious that my car never had oil leak. The second guy showed me the leak (that I never had before) I refused to believe this is all legit. This guy asked me to leave their store immediately and handed me my keys. I went I to the showroom to find a manager to state this suspicious and unprofessional behavior of the service department, but the showroom manager said service department is on their own, they can’t overwrite their acts. Surrounded by biased bullying men, I had to leave this horrible establishment, to never ever return! I sold my beautiful RAM City Master just because of the horrible dealer in Elgin. Shame on you Dodge Chrysler Ram dealership of Elgin!

Worst customer service ever! Purchased a 2020 pacifica. When I was having an issue with the back up alert, it was not going off regularly as it did since I bought it! They said it never beeped for me because it dont work the way I said it did! They acted like I was making it up! I had the car a year and I know what it had done all this time! They said because they didnt witness the issue they couldnt fix it! I researched it and told them it was the rear crosspath detection! They said no. So I ended up getting video 3 times of the issue since it would work part time. I took the videos in and showed them! Even with video evidence of what it was not doing part of the time they have done nothing to help fix it!!! With promises (I have text evidence) to send it to corporate higher ups and fix my problem I have never heard back!!! 6 months should be time enough to figure it out!!! I will never deal with Elgin Chrysler ever!!! Even when they are wrong they dont admit it! They avoid you and any issues they cannot and dont want to fix!!! Save alot of service headaches and go elsewhere for your Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep!!!

Worst experience ever at a dealership. Went in to purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Got a quote on paper with 0% but was not happy about the mandatory $2500 protection plan cost. Walked away and came back later in afternoon at which point the deal changed to no 0%(out of spite). Walked away again for good. As we were were leaving, the D-Bag dishonest Paul The Manager walks by and says smirkingly, Thanks for coming in again guys. Paul is a total tool and dishonest crook. Zak the sales guy was a decent guy(Very Nice). This place is crooked from the top down. I would stay away. There is a reason why this dealership has the amount of inventory it does. I saw the many bad reviews. If the ownership is aware, then that is a bad situation. I would consider writing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Its crooked from the top down.

6/8/21 Revised: I am horrified at what I found out to have transpired during and since we bought our vehicle. This dealership is extremely dishonest, deceptive, and will not follow-up. A $2500 “paint warranty” was snuck onto my bill, and when I confronted them about it, noting that I was not informed of this, did not give my consent, nor was I provided with any warranty information to utilize this “lifetime warranty that is on all their cars”, was promised to be mailed this information.May 20: bought carMay 21: called and spoke to Manager Paul about “paint warranty” noticed on bill to raise my concerns, was promised to have information mailed. To date I’ve received no information about this “warranty”May 22: Notice (garage parked vehicle) has damage to weather stripping on one window. Contact sales right away. When pictures are sent, they proceed to tell me that “it looks like someone tried breaking into the car”. Told him that was impossible, because someone breaking into a car would damage a WHOLE lot more than some rubber around a window, and as mentioned before, garage parked and safe (and no garage break-ins for the record). The damage occurred during the rushed car wash at 11pm as we were being hurried through paperwork and off property. A towel was gripped too hard around the window trim and pushed the weather stripping underneath it, permanently bending it. After some back and forth and being told to bring the car in, I said have your manager call me. I was told he’d call at 1pm on 5/25, no one called. I informed sales.5/26: Manager Jason calls. I discuss the vehicle damage and my grave concerns about the “paint warranty” that I did not consent to. I asked for a refund, was told this was impossible. Told him I was very serious in my request and that this needed to be escalated and have follow-up. I did not give my informed consent for this ridiculous warranty, and have been forbidden any opportunity to review ANY material surrounding it. Jason said service would call me to setup an appointment and that he’d share my concerns and the GM would follow-up with me.June 7: sales contacted me asking if I brought my car in yet. Told him Manager Jason said service would be contacting me to schedule and that he’d share my paint warranty concerns with the GM, who has yet to follow up with me. Sales said he’d talk to them on Monday.June 8: No one has called me about ANY of these concerns.Update: June 10: The loan on my trade-in vehicle IS NOT PAID OFF. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?????? Still no one has called me about any of these issues.I did not want to go this route. If my concerns continue to go unnoticed and mishandled, I will ensure that my voice is heard LOUD and clear.Original review May 20: (when sales asked to take my phone and show me how to give a 5 star review before the sale was completed) *salesperson name removed* and Jason worked very hard to meet our needs and we really appreciate their efforts. We are very excited for our new Jeep!

I bought a car here last October even left a great review unfortunately I take it back. I traded the car in and wanted to cancel my warranty. Every time I called to speak to the finance manager the receptionist was rude she would transfer me to different voicemails or if I called right back she would pick up and hang up. I finally got someone on the phone after a week of trying because nobody returned my calls. Almost a month later still no check they continue to transfer me to I believe someone named Melissa voicemail she never returns my call. I called back and the receptionist told me to get a lawyer!!!! They are money hungry and rude and obviously do not want to give me money back for a canceled warranty. Maybe I should take the receptionist advice and get a lawyer. Disgusting behavior! I used to tell people to go buy from them NOW I AM WARNING PEOPLE!

I will never waste my time at a dealership such as this one again.I’ve asked for my refund of some optional appearance protection and have yet to see any proof of it. I’ve been waiting on it for two months. The person I spoke to over the phone to said they’re going to mail out the check to my financed. I’ve visited the dealership in person and it seemed like the person I was trying to speak to was avoiding me. It’s a mess.

We took our Jeep to their service team because the power steering would go out occasionally. They kept it for a couple of days for a fairly sizable diagnostics charge, then reported that it needed a new power steering pump. The service person told us they would not release the car back to us until the repair was made because it was unsafe to drive. They kept it for another few days while they ordered the part and made the repair. $1007 all in! Since having it back post-repair the power steering goes out every time we drive it!! Every single time multiple times and the car shuts down when it happens!! So not only did we pay a lot for a repair but it was botched, unnecessary and misdiagnosed... NOW THEY GAVE US an unsafe car. So my choices are trying to find a true trusted knowledgeable mechanic or take it back to these guys and pay more money for botched service. I had hoped that we found reliable service at this dealership, but unfortunately that is not the case. I will not recommend this service dept.

Worst dealership in the country. Calling from out of state regarding a vehicle that was In Transit. They will not discuss any vehicles over the phone (availability, options, pricing etc). Meanwhile, the vehicle ISNT EVEN ON THE LOT. There is nothing to see or discuss in person. Must be a very low volume dealer that is stuck in the 90s. If you need to connect quickly, youre better off using a fax machine for this business.

A month ago I went to the dealership to change my oil and asked the dealers if they could check my brakes because I was planning on going on a longer trip. The dealer gave me an estimate that said that I should replace the front and rear rotors for my brakes and as well as the brake pads since apparently I only had 10% remaining. So I bought the parts from the dealership and took my car to a mechanic I knew well to get my brakes changed and ended up finding out from him that there was no point in changing my brakes because they were still good. Not only did he say that my brake pads had 70% remaining, he also said that both my front and rear brakes are in perfect condition. I think that its pretty shady and disrespectful to lie to a client just to squeeze more money out of them. This is a warning to anyone who chooses to come to this dealership in the future, the people here do not have your best interest in mind - they will lie and try to trick you to make as much money as possibly can from you!

Place is is total con shop. Just read other reviews and youll get the picture. We leased a Jeep 4XE here. It is supposed to have a $7500 EV rebate on it. Normally when you lease one of these they put it on as a CAP cost reduction so you get credit. Did all the paperwork and guess what, no rebate was included. Called the bank, nope no rebate included. Called the finance manager and was told it comes off the residual. This is also false. Called numerous times and no one answers. Emailed the GM no reply. I now have a lease with a payoff which is more than MSRP and cannot file for the rebate since this was a lease. Guess we need to search for a fraud attorney here. No other options apparently. Buyer beware. Anyone at this dealership care to tell me where the $7500 is at? Last 8 MW674473. Any 1 more thing. If you leave them a bad review they will force you to remove it prior to working with you to correct and cover up their con games.

As a veteran along others, I dislike the desecration of the flag (the blue line flag) under the real American flag. Especially that blue line flag is tyranny! That flag shouldnt be flying like that, especially with our American flag. If you want to have that desecrated flag, posted inside or at the window dont be flying it. Thats a disrespect to my family and all other military/americans who agree with this.

I hate to give this place 1 star because the service side is friendly and has been great. But the sales side is like the awful used car salesmen out of a movie. Paul, the manager is the worst of all, dishonest and sneaky. I bought a couple year old car and it has issues and work that wasnt listed on the intake report and is now costing me more out of pocket than my car payments. Still waiting on a second key I was promised but wont be holding my breath for. Wouldnt even recommend this location to someone I dislike. Purchase at your own risk.

Definitely dont recommend visiting this dealership. If your repair isnt on insurance, then youll be 100% scammed by this dealership. I was at this dealership for a repair for my off road Jeep and the estimated repair costs were almost $5k. After getting an estimate from a different body shop, it turned out that half of the things that the dealership said we needed to replace didnt need to be replaced at all, it was just a way for them to take more money from us. My repair estimate at this other body shop was literally cut in half. The mechanic at the dealership lied to me straight in the face that a part needed to be replaced when in reality it was good. All to increase the costs of repair and make the client pay more money. The Elgin Chrysler dealership is a SCAM, avoid this place at all costs!!

DO NOT do business with this dealership. I purchased my car from them and have called 5 times about my title and no one has bothered to call me back. Every time I call, they send me to voicemail where Ive left voicemails requesting a call back. I traded my old car in and 3 days later, saw my old car on their website. They hadnt even processed the paperwork to send the payoff check to my old finance company and they had the car listed. They ONLY care about making sales and DO NOT care about customer service.

This the WORST place tu buy a car, i bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee the worst experience of my life totally disappointed, false advertising, lies, the most dishonest finance manager ever, i regret so much going to that dealer my experience with them was so bad that makes me hate my cari cant wait to get rid of it.i recommend to check every paper that u sign2-3 times do not DO NOT over look anything and think u can trust the guy and he is being honest because he is not.

Friendly Staff first and foremost. Clean waiting area, and was nice, comfortable, and updated. Loved the tables with the bench seating! And lastly, the time. That was by far the fastest oil change and tire rotation Ive ever had.

Pretty terrible service actually. I made an appointment at 8am last Saturday and was told it will take a couple hours. 3pm rolls around and I still had yet to receive a phone call with at least an up date that its taking longer then usually. I had to call and was told by Matt he was just about to call me, but needed 10-15 more mins. After 50 mins with no call I call back 10 mins prior to the service department closing at 4pm. This time I was put on hold to wait for Matt for 5 mins. While Im waiting for him, he calls me on a separate phone..... Seriously Matt I was just on hold for you for 5 minutes and you didnt pick up. DONT GET HELPED BY MATT.No idea why I made an appointment. It obviously does not do anything to speed things along. Didnt get my Jeep back until Tuesday afternoon just to change a simple thermostat.....He also tried to charge me to fix pending codes the jeep has that I wont be able to see since they are only pending... Telling me that I have low voltage. Matt said it wouldnt be covered under warranty, but they could fix it by tightening the terminals and charging me a bunch of money doing it. Sounds like money gouging to me.Needles to say, Ill never go here again for anything. Its honestly a joke.
