The transaction was easy as I had already set it up on my phone, so no paperwork to complete. The lady who handled the transaction was very pleasant and explained everything so this made the entire experience seamless. This is a transaction I will have to complete each month, so will definitely be back.

Ive gone to the currency exchange to times because its 5 blocks from my house. Both times were a waste of my time. The second time I went in just to have my identification verified and notarized. It even said on the paper what the currency exchange was supposed to do. The page had two items list it. One had nothing to do with the currency exchange. It was a power attorney for me to give to the bank. With my signature only. But because it was on the same piece of paper the currency exchange would not notarize it even though it had nothing to do with them. If you have something to use the currency exchange for I would suggest traveling a little farther to go to one that knows what the hell they are doing so they dont waste your time.
I went there today to do money transfer by western union but the Hispanic lady who assisted was more interested in cleaning up in the back...I was given the form to fill out the info and she just walked away.. never came back to ask how I was doing, if I needed any help?!?!.. I filled out the form and patiently waited for her to come back but like I said, she was too busy cleaning and stocking in the back. I ended up walking out because she did not come back for 10 mins...

Currency exchanges can be very impersonal and assemblyline- esque. A smile and pleasant deamenor goes a long way toward resolving that. The woman who waited on me was courteous and efficient. Our brief interaction made me feel like a valued customer instead of just another percentage.
Well after I went to the elgin location where the atencion was not appropriate she was very rude by a representative, I decided to go to the branch in streamwood and I was impressed with the attention and how to explain why they could not change the copy original of a check.
Rude customer service on the phone from the MANAGERS!. Hanging up the phone without resolving the issue. And when another manager picks it up, tell me to not call here anymore, because he overheard our discussion. Seriously? Terrible .
