I’ve been there about three months now and my experience has been wonderful. From the first conversation enquiring on apartments I was sold and I stopped looking. Transition was easy, Ty made me feel welcome and Tom from maintenance made sure I was completely happy with my apartment and responded to any matters I had. I feel at home and happy.

For the amount of money that it costs to live here I certainly cannot recommend anyone to move here. Experienced numerous plumbing issues, excessively loud neighbors that the leasing team refused to deal with, cars blasting music in the parking lot at 1 in the morning, broken elevators, sketchy residents with criminal charges (yes, a quick Google search brings up numerous mug shots), unprofessional staff…the list goes on and on. The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance team.

Where do I begin, Ill start off by saying I never post negative reviews but this experience was horrid. The management team for one is horrible, Mark Pinkham, the property manager, is beyond rude, arrogant and unprofessional when dealing with tenants. Ive caught the maintenance man outside my apartment several times trying to listen in on conversations being held in my apartment. My neighbor who has lived at The Point for several years now said he noticed that same maintenance man outside his door eavesdropping when he first started working there 2 years ago and cussed him out for that. The same neighbor told me to stand up for myself and let management know what hes doing but lets be frank... if he was doing this two years ago I doubt reporting this to the terrible management team is going to change/help anything and THANFULLY my lease is up in a month anyway. The halls wreak of cigarettes and packages always go missing. My boyfriend who has his own apartment but will stay over from time to time was asked personal questions by a different maintenance man and I was accused of being dishonest about whos living in my apartment. That being said, I would not recommend The Point at Stoughton to anyone.

I have lived in the same apartment since 2011, when this place opened. Since it became The Point at Stoughton in November 2018, the management crew of Mark, and Tracey. And the maintenance crew of Chris and Elwood, in my opinion have been THE BEST crew since this place has been open. I have waited years for renovations that were ignored by previous managements. The crew at the Point at Stoughton took care of my needs in expeditious fashion. I HAVE and will continue to suggest The Point to family and friends who are looking for a clean, safe, and friendly place to live.

This place was great when it was managed under Coppermill Park. Now that new management has replaced them, the place has turned into a dump. They don’t control visitors parking in all of the resident spots, there’s droppings from all of the occupants’ dogs who refuse to clean it up, and there’s trash everywhere. Make this a last resort if you’re looking for an apartment. The price is outrageous compared to the communal upkeep of the property. Instead of the property manager responding to each review, thanking each person for their feedback and apologizing for this and that, work on improving the property you manage. People aren’t happy with you guys and you know it.UPDATE: since publishing this review, the condition of the community has only worsened. There’s more trash being thrown on the grounds and within the buildings in the hallways and it’s not being cleaned up. Pet waste is still a problem and it’s become a more noisy community as well. Management has made it clear that they don’t care enough to offer and maintain an enjoyable living experience for its residents. When calling the leasing office to ask questions or file complaints, they either give snarky responses or don’t return calls at all. It’s a joke and my wife and I very much looking forward to finding a new living arrangement by the start of next year.

I have lived here for 3 years and continue to enjoy living here! The management change was a surprise, but the new company offers the same services as the old. They also have helped me both in the office and with maintenance requests at the same level of customer service I have previously experienced. Would recommend to all!

Based on my experience leasing an apartment here short-term in 2019, I unfortunately cannot recommend The Point At Stoughton to prospective renters. To begin with, I was leased an apartment that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke from the very first day of occupancy. The lobby, elevators, and hallways of the building also smelled (and continue to smell) heavily of cigarette smoke. Secondly, there was damage to the floor in the apartments kitchen (that was disclosed ahead of time, in all fairness), that I was informed would be repaired within the first week or two of residency - this never happened. Next - when my sister stayed over as a guest for a couple of nights, and went to the business center to print out a document (needed as part of our mothers hospital stay at the time) she was screamed at by the property manager for reasons unknown & I was accused of not being honest about who is living in the apartment. Its news to me that having a guest over for 2 days is considered someone occupying the apartment full-time. The printer was constantly out of ink, toner, or paper, such that we had no choice but to have the manager assist (and apparently read our emails in the process). Approaching the end of the lease, no instructions or procedures for move-out were ever provided to my wife or me, so I picked a moving date that was convenient for us about three weeks before the lease expired. The property manager came up to our apartment as things were in the process of being moved out and screamed at my wife, claiming we ignored emails from her asking if we were renewing the lease and when we were planning to move out. She also stated wed be fined for supposedly ignoring these emails she never sent to us. When I followed up politely to ask what documentation was needed from us to close things out, MY emails were ignored. While the initial maintenance issues (minus the damage to the kitchen floor) were addressed promptly and completely (I can whole-heartedly recommend Chris on the maintenance staff for being thorough and courteous during our tenure here), the behavior of the property manager my family interacted with during our time here really ruined the entire experience for us. Based on this person alone, I cannot recommend that anyone pursue leasing an apartment here. The rent is simply too high to put up with unprovoked harassment when there are several comparable options in the same immediate area.

I love living here. The Coppermill team is so nice. Everyone is polite, helpful and friendly. The grounds are kept immaculate, and I just love not having to shovel snow!I have lived by myself for a long time, and living here has made me feel safe and comfortable. What a wonderful place to live. the surroundings are so beautiful and quiet. The apartments are roomy and comfortable. I just cant begin to say how much I like living here.

This is the worst apartment Ive ever lived in. This new management company has no idea what they are doing, its like they are new to owning an apartment complex. Packages are in the front office for days and residents are never contacted to let them know they arrived. In addition, the packages are supposed to go into a locker system that notifies residents but this new company has no idea how to do it, nor do they seem to want to try. They do nothing to help their residents and it gets worse the longer they own this property. In addition they have workers clearing snow at all times of the night waking up all the residents at 1 am. The windows mine as well be wide open as they have no insulation for noise. We can hear every single thing that happens outside including scraping the pavement for snow and the beeping of all the trucks. I would rather live in my car than this dump. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Hopefully this new company leaves soon because they suck.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Since this new management company took it over everything has gone downhill. They dont fix anything within a reasonable time. Some of the light posts were out for over a month leaving the parking lot dark and they did nothing. The front office never answers the phone for anything. We have called multiple times to ask different questions and there is never a response. Ive gone to the office personally to talk to them and their hours of operation I guess mean nothing to them because the office will be closed when it says it should be open. In addition the management cant figure out how to get the billing system in place. Its been months now and they cant figure out how to send a paper bill in the mail or post the correct rent amount due on the online portal. I would NEVER MOVE HERE if I could do it over again. The apartment is literally falling apart. The doors of the cabinets dont hang right and the paint on the walls are basically water and wipes right off if you wipe it with a paper towel. In addition, you can hear everything through the windows and the walls are literally made out of cardboard. Forget about hanging anything on the walls because you cant even get a nail into the wall without it ripping right out. I CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF THIS TERRIBLE APARTMENT. I cant say one good thing about this place. I hope this new management goes out of business because they are terrible.

Response to the owner’s reply below:It is now May 3, 2019. Mark, perhaps you should give my husband and I the FedEx tracking information. We have STILL NOT received the check, despite the fact that you claim below to have sent it via FedEx so that we receive it in a “TIMELY” manner. Using that word two months after the fact is laughable. My husband tried calling the office 10 minutes ago at 5:30, and surprise surprise, no one picked up. You claim to be open until 6 o’clock, but no one ever picks up the phone past five. To everyone reading this, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a place to live.Original review:My husband and I moved to Coppermill Park at the end of 2016 and were very impressed with the responsiveness of the office staff. We received prompt answers and help. The complex then changed to The Point. We moved out of our apartment in mid-February 2019 due to the fact that the complex always smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke free community. We were told by Mark, the office manager, that we would receive our security deposit back within 30 days.Today is Tuesday, April 23rd. We have not received our money back. My husband called weeks ago and Mark said he had to “check with accounting”, and then he never got back to us. My husband called again this past Friday and Mark was not there (he’s never there on Fridays) and that he’d get back to us on Monday (no one else in the office can help with any questions, ever). Yesterday was Monday, no call. My husband called again today at 4:40 pm and was told Mark was in a meeting and that he would call back. I then got on the phone and reiterated that we needed him to call back before he left for the day. And guess what??? He did not! It’s such a shame that we have to pursue legal options in order to obtain our money back, especially when our apartment was left in completely pristine condition, but this company has left us no choice.

I applied for an apartment here and decided not to live here I paid a $500 deposit for my application on Feb 6th 2019. It is now February 21st 2019. Ive called this place at least 20x asking for my money back. Ive spoken with someone who stated that they refunded my money but thats a LIE. All other times no one picks up. Id say someone picks up 10% of the time. I want my MONEY. I will be going up there this weekend and if my money isnt in my hand by the time I leave Im calling the Stoughton police for theft. DO NOT rent at this place. Totally unacceptable. i told them I was going to leave a review and I think they thought I was joking. im not
