Looking for a safe place to bring 2 abandon friendly male Shepherd 3 year old brothers

Always too crowded. They want to help but there is only so much room and so little money.

It was soooo amazing. Its an amazing place with a wide selection of dogs and cats. The animals have nice space to roam a bit and kind workers and volunteers to take care of them

They really care about the animals and there customer service is amazing.

I couldnt tell you they never answered the phones I called and called and called and left messages nobody called me back nobody answered my phone call

Wonderful! Found a kitten on the levees near Rio Vista. Called various rescue groups and humane societies. Did sixty mile round trip and were welcomed here. Sai they needed kittens. Told me he would get a home quickly and how to watch on Facebook. Very happy!

My Husband do the lawn maintenance there there good people and they do great things !

I adopted a Chihuahua and everything went extraordinary well. While completing the process I observed that all of the staff were both caring and professional. I highly recommend this shelter.

They are compassionate and keep the kennels and cages clean on a daily basis. They take the necessary precautions regarding covid 19

They really care about the homeless animals of San Joaquin County. The animals get great care and it is much nicer and cleaner than when it was under former management. Because of COVID, they are arranging 1:1 appts to play with adoptees and see if they are a good match for you and your family.

I took my two boy brothers there to be adopted out they are terriffic candidates there dispositions are on point, love you Dj and Eclipse it wasnt fair to have you cooped up in an apartment !!!

We adopted our precious puppy Kylie here, from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and noticed how clean they keep the center. They have great people working here and I am so glad we found this place. We live in Sacramento but still drive to Stockton for their services!

I got my puppy from the location and is the best choice I ever made :) yeah the adoption is not free but is worth it. Two years after I got him he is my best friend on this quarantine ❤️🐶

I love this place. The service was great. The dog we got is so adieable!

This place is alright. The volunteers are knowledgeable to their range of experience. Otherwise, they seem to only pick out certain customers of their chosen. I didn’t know you can limit gods creations to other beautiful people. It’s not up to them, it should be the customers choice. Period, this is called business. Unless the customers was showing signs of aggression. But everyone deserves to find the right companion for themselves. The paper process defyneeds some fine tuning. Very unorganized and unprofessional. The only good thing I can say is good selection of dogs and cats. Please, be kind to your customer base. It’s what helps your business. Look at Tesla and Apple for examples. Everyone deserves the best for themselves.

The work they do to help animals is amazing!! So many need homes...breaks my heart to see them in cages like that, hoping and waiting for someone to adopt and love them...stop by and visit and see if you have room in your heart and home for more love!!

Tried for three weeks to get in touch with someone. Seven call efforts with probably 15 calls. I played around with their horrible self-service options and was only able to reach a human once. That humam, however, worked in the main office and told me she would get someone at the shelter to call me right away. Never happened. I tried again until I finally got a voicemail option and left a message explaining my situation and my difficulty reaching someone. Never heard back. I gave up trying. It was a complete waste of my time trying to contact them. I only hope I can spare someone their own time and effort by letting them know this business is a joke. I hope I wasnt unclear.

Actually, I did not visit. I however, did call because I wanted to donate (which I did); I couldnt have been helped by a nicer person.

Hard to get a person on phone or help with stray cats. Impossible to even schedual a fix and release. Making the ferrel cat situation more out of control. Some turned up dead from other people poisoning cats.

Rescued puppy on 03/29/2019. Initial experience/impression was good. Received first DACPP and was microchipped on (05/03/2019). Then, follow-up service has been non existence. They told/wrote to expect a call in three weeks when vet was available. That was in May. It is now the end of July. If vaccinations are not available, would appreciation a return call to my several voice mails and email. Then, REFUND my payments for follow up immunizations and fixed services. Ill take her elsewhere.

Delta Humane needs to earn back the publics trust. I understand u hired a new Director, Im sure shes great- but unless u totally ovrhauled the entire Board of Directors too, then were talking about the same geniuses tht apparently failed to do a background check B4 they hired her predecessor whom had, along w/ husband, ALREADY BEEN accused of siphoning funds at her last job!HELLO! Even if they missed tht, it PROBABLY should have been a red flag when she allegedly would refuse to allow anyone else access to finance records. 🤔 Or how bout when various staff below her were BRAVE enough to whistleblow & were fired or essentially forced to quit a job they used to love- They were ACTUALLY HELPING ANIMALS! Meanwhile others were lining their pockets w/ money donated by people thinking they were helping buy desperately needed kibble (look- if you repeatedly cant afford to buy your charges basic necessities, & are constantly begging the public to help you buy food, then something is very wrong. Duh.) aaaaaand THATS when THE CITY POUND gets called in to investigate whether or not they need to take over responsibility for the animals YOU ARENT TAKING CARE OF!!! Dont worry the public will never find out & youll still be able to talk $h!t tht the pound is a kill shelter, b/c the public ALSO is ignorant to the fact tht SOME shelters arent afforded the luxury of being able to pick & choose the animals they accept, OR tht you can still euthenize 10% of the animals tht u DO take in AND STILL CALL URSELF NO KILL! The City Pound is less than 8% from being able to call themselves No Kill, but wont, Im sure, b/c kill/no kill terminology is DECEPTIVE. ...and unlike Delta Humane, some organizations prefer TRANSPARENCY.

Staff wasnt real helpful. went to search for list kitty and was told well if she was chipped this wouldnt be happening I live in the country. none of my animals are chipped and theyve never gotten out or been missing . what a jerk. seeing all the fur babies locked up hoping for an angel was quite depressing

They helped our TSA officers during the government shut down. They provided animal food as well as toys! Our team at TSA are extremely greatfull for they the support they gave us during the shutdown and would like to give our thanks to the Delta Humane Society!

Corruption fills this shelter and unfortunately the animals suffer for it. If you speak up at this shelter then you aren’t welcomed to it. Take it from someone that’s witnessed and expierenced it first hand. Been there my whole life. The moment I spoke up, I was cut.

I was never good, they took care of the dogs and it was just over all really good.
