Terrible experience when we tried to register today, the receptionist insisted for my two 16 old boys not to get in until I get there myself and not with their uncle who is 35 years old. What frustrated us all and turned us back to leave and register with planet fitness instead is the fact that my boys two friends who are the same age of my sons and their classmates, age 16 and 12 only five minutes prior to my boys arrival there already registered and got in and started playing without having their parents with them. So this double standard was bad and led to us and 8 other friends to go to plant fitness ..

Crunch Fitness has nice facilities with very nice equipment. Would recommend it for a good workou!

Great Place. Lots of Equipment, Friendly but Safe Staff (that’s a good thing due to corona virus protocol ) clean restrooms Serious minded customers getting in shape and building muscle. Love this place. Price is unbeatable.

This location falsely charged me a year worth of Crunch membership after I cancelled the membership. Cant help but feel disappointed by how poorly this location is managed. To make matters worse there was no sincere apology for the year-long false charges nor was there any attempt from the management to address the issue and offer some sort of compensation for the inconvenience that was caused. It frustrates me having to deal with discouraging service and poor management when the brand claims to be otherwise. I hope this message reaches whoever is in charge.

Gym staff is 10/5. So incredibly friendly and informative. After coming as a guest for a few weeks, I decided to take the plunge and add Crunch to my home gyms. Heard Ruby was teaching spin here now (she’s better than coffee!) so I purchased the highest plan to start with her tomorrow. Michael (front desk) has always been so kind and welcoming. Stephanie (and another girl, sorry I forgot her name) got me enrolled quickly today. They were in great spirits and encouraged me to try out different classes offered (see you at videography!) and gave me a ton of useful information and got me setup with my kickoff orientation tomorrow. Looking forward to having full access to Crunch and smash these goals.

Awesome gym, lots of equipment and very friendly staff. Michael and Cesar are the two that stand out and go out their way to help others with their needs! This gym has a hit class that will kick your butt, if you are new to working out I recommend this affordable gym!

I love crunch .. its a little crowded in the afternoon but I mainly come in the mornings so its not a problem. The staff is very friendly. Michael and rose are always very polite and always greet us with such a welcoming smile. I would recommend crunch to my friends.

Still by far my favorite gym in town, they always have enrollment promotions and everyone is very friendly/ helpful. Front desk staff Michael is great and also the newbie Cesar! Their smiles never leave their faces and they provide excellent customer service. I take romeos HIIT classes weekly- definitely recommend! Hes always willing to give fitness advice and answer any fitness related questions.

The place is good. Cleanliness is well maintain. Atmosphere is good vibes and everyone is kind. The place just need more benches and weights because it gets too crowded

I became a member of this gym 4 months ago after switching from another gym. This place has anything you could ask for from a gym AND at a reasonable price! The staff is amazing, the members are respectful, and the inspiration is real!

Think 1000 times before going to Crunch. I will explain why: I gained weight due to thyroid cancer. I went to crunch and paid the gym tuition and paid $ 204.00 for every 6 personal trainer sessions. It was the first and second week, but I could go more because I had to do another cancer treatment. so since the crunch had all the data on my debit card, they drew $ 816.00 at once (I was no longer attending personal trainer classes). I called her, they returned me $ 600.00. two weeks later they withdraw my $ 408.00 debit card again. I call her I speak as a manager Antonio and they do not solve anything. and to make it worse they put my name in collection. if you like honest places, never go to crunch

Each of the seven days on my visitors pass was nice. The staff was very attentive. They made me feel welcome, and they made me feel that I could be successful on my health journey. Mercedes was very friendly, helpful, and she called me by name every time I came in contact with her. For that reason, she is a great person to have at the front desk

Amazing place to work out! Great staff who are very friendly. I had small talk with Stan and Jess which we had great conversations. They also are very knowledgeable about workouts and the products they sell. The store is spotless even the bathroom. Great job Crunch Fitness

This is the best gym in town! The customer service here is wonderful! Every single staff member I have come across is very helpful and friendly. Group classes are for everyone, the training staff definitely educated me on how to reach my goals! The front desk explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions! Equipment is great and gym is clean!

Recently came back to do a one month membership since I’m only in town for a while — I used to go here nearly every day last year from April to September. It was a good deal at the time they had summer specials and you could get your activation fee waived. It got really packed at peak times but other than that, I never really had that difficult of a time to get onto machines or into the weights. The only note I have is that there’s two squat racks (not the smith machine) that can get taken up for a long time when people switch off with friends. Mostly everyone is polite but you always have those select few that seem to hog benches, spaces or barbells and the ones that sort of make you feel awkward because they just stare. Nonetheless everyone is really nice which is surprising for me because I didn’t expect this gym to be as nice as it is. Although I definitely think it could be bigger — it’s worth the price you pay. They also have a place for childcare which is nice because my friend was able to drop her son off and pick him up right after. It’s a super sweet addition for mothers/fathers. Bring your own headphones because the music is typically super loud when it’s coming from the exercise classroom! When it’s empty though, you can use it and do your work outs privately if you feel self conscious.

The crunch is a great gym Tyler and Michael are both great. they do there job. I think this is great gym to be at 😀

Visited the club for the first time today. I took the 6:15 The Ride class, and it was amazing! Im so glad Crunch decided to add cycling to its class list. Tony (the instructor) is high energy, he plays great beat, and he gives you an excellent workout. Tonys class, alone, is worth the price of membership.

The personal trainers there are great. They really care about you and help when you need it. They’ve helped me with learning how to properly use equipment and what good form looks like. Equipment is easy to use and is consistently clean. Locker rooms are nice but the hydromassage is all personal preference (not a big fan of it). Anyways great gym overall.

I feel like I am family when I come Crunch Fitness in Stockton. Every staff member is so nice and friendly. They actually care about my needs and wants to help with my own personal health and fitness needs. There are a few other fitness centers here in Stockton, but, Crunch Fitness is the best.

October 9 2020 was at crunch posted rule in the gum for covid 19. some member do not care I seen two members with no mask and they are to stay 6 ft away from you a member walk in to crunch to work out walked right up to me shoulder to shoulder. I said hay stay 6 Ft away he just looked at me and the staff seen him and said nothing.

Crunch, I’ve been a member at Crunch since they opened it, day one. I always call it my second home! The staff always friendly and with great positive personality.

Front desk customer service need improvement

Once this gym received a five star from me. Now I have to remove two stars for the uncooperative behavior of the staff. I was out of town and not using my membership, it was u frozen without my knowledge and I was charged both monthly fees and the annual. I hadnt even used the membership for six months and was still charged. I would not expect anyone at this place to take initiative for the clients satisfaction.

I was very pleased with the customer service I received while on my three-day pass. I belong to planet fitness (PF) but have not been motivated to go. I am testing out CRUNCH to see if it is a better fit for me. I am looking forward to the classes and find the equipment at CRUNCH better than PF. Also, The staff is very friendly and approachable. Id like to particularly thank Kamari for making my experience at your gym great!! He was very informative and helpful and pleasant. All in all, I believe Ive been won over and will be switching to CRUNCH this weekend.

As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. Fist time joining a gym after YEARS of taking my health for granted and I honestly feel content with joining and changing my life for the better. Everyone that works here is very professional and friendly.

When I just first came to look around I was greeted by the owner Monique and what a wonderful person she is! The owner giving a personal tour of facilities will be able to answer any and all questions and I felt like I found a little gym gem in the middle of the city! The price is so affordable too with deals and events every month, they really know how to market and advertise. But aside from that they really are a wonderful gym that stays open til midnight on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. Open early as 4am too! Hours are flexible enough for any one to fit in their schedules. I really enjoy coming t night because after a good work out I can walk out to the cool night air and feel so refreshed. Its located inside a shopping center with tons of parking right next to UPS and a neighborhood Walmart. Not only is the monthly fee as low as $10 but if you pay $15 more you can bring a friend with you for free anytime no questions asked so basically $12.50 per person which includes group classes hydromassage and tanning if you are into that. They even give you a crunch shirt! The annual fee right now is $40 which is due in 60 days of signing up for membership and a $10 processing fee I believe. Just make sure to cancel 3 months before the annual fee is due to avoid having to pay another annual fee if you plan to stop. Lastly all the employees are always cheerful even if a tad bit bored at the desk haha. Whenever I needed help like someone to spot me they would always be willing and some occasionally go around helping clean up and re-racking weights. Its the only gym other than 24 hour fitness that opens as late as midnight which is one of the main reason for signing up. Everything inside is pretty clean but the refillable water fountain is broken so I hope they x that soon. After signing up please do schedule a kick off! They have so many different exercise machines that you might not find in other gyms like a ladder climbing machine. It almost feels like a 24 hour fitness super sport gym without the pool. Even has lunging bags, wall ropes, tires, and so much you have to go in to look around :) its really trying to have a community aspect to the gym so if you are a social person go and try to make a friend there! Everyone Ive met so far is pretty nice! What are you waiting for? Just DO IT and go to the gym!

After using a complimentary 3 day guest pass I joined the crunch gym. Super cheap to join, and the facility is always clean and weights are organized. There is plenty of knowledgeable staff always readily available to help out with personal training advice or encourage me to participate in the many crunch classes that are included in my membership. Wow fantastic judgement free zone ! Love the equipment they have here. It’s always wiped down and clean. The best part is probably the tanning booth they have! I love my skin and how I’m getting so fit. The personal trainer Britney is helping me achieve my goal and it’s going fantastic !

Signed up during a promotion which waived the $40 fee & only had to pay the sign up fee. Its a good deal for $9.95 a month for a basic membership. For what you pay its a great deal for the gym. Ample wet wipes & paper towels available which I LOVE instead of using the sam rag & a spray bottle at each machine which most gyms do. Its cleaner & I value that a lot. People are so kind. No one is ever rude. Always friendly people willing to help you adjust a machine or answer your questions if you dont know how to use something.

Ive been in many gyms over the past 17 years, from studios to big commercial gyms and must say this is the cleanest facility I have ever seen with the friendliest staff. The equipment looks new, if something is broken its fixed right away and I love their no judgement motto. Cant see myself going anywhere else.

Never again will I sign up with this company nothing but a head ache to cancel my membership. I will not recommend this gym. Had to pay my 20$ for a month of a membership I did not get to use. Then the following month had to pay for a annual fee of 40$ yet still not using there gym just to cancel my membership basically had to pay 60$, rip off if you ask me! Called in to cancel my membership spoke to employee america she stated I had to come into the facility to cancel my membership so I mentioned to her that I can not due to my re location out of state. She provided me with an email to cancel with the general manager. I did email him in regards of my situation and did not receive any emails back. So called once again and got the same worker and she said he was not in that she will take down my information and have him call me back. Still did not receive and call backs. So called a third time and got the same employee and she placed me on hold and I finally spoke to Antonio the general manager he stated that I could update my account with my debit card because for some weird reason it was not on file keep in mind when I signed up I provided my account and routing number and also swiped my debit card. At the time of that call I was currently at work and didn’t have the debit card on me so he told me I could call back and update it with any employee and cancel my membership. So the next day comes I call back to update my payment card with employee america and she updates my payment card then she states she can not cancel my membership that there’s is no notes on file that I spoke to the manager which is very frustrating! Like are you telling me I’m lying about the situation? Why didn’t any of those calls have any notes of me calling isn’t that your job? Any calls I answer at work I make sure to put notes so we’re all on the same page! But for some reason they don’t follow that procedure but if they did maybe I wouldn’t be so upset! So next she updates it and states that she is going to call him and hopefully he answers that he would be the only one to authorize to cancel my membership when he clearly told me any employee can do it so then that call ended. Right after the call ended I see the charge of the 40$. So I call her back and tell her why do I see a charge for 40$ when you stated that you were going to call him and have him cancel it. So then all of the sudden she authorized to do it which makes no sense give me a head ache for nothing when she could have done it from the beginning ! So called back and tell her why did she charge my card and not cancel my membership so she said she was in the process of doing it. Why charge my card and not send me a copy of the cancellation so she gives me attitude because I wanted a copy and I stated I was going to wait on hold until she sent me the copy moral of the story it was nothing but a hassle!

I applied today assuming I was going to get offered the three free day trial but the worker completely skipped asking me the offer so I paid the 10$ my first day joining. She was pretty rude not going to lie, I’m a very patient person so she completely made me feel unwelcomed. Aside from that, she forgot my shirt as well which I later got from another VERY generous worker. It made up for the bad experience. Overall, clean space, nice place. ☺️

I am currently looking into colleges in Central Valley so I decided to stop into Crunch. I am fairly new in the gym and Jesika made me feelso welcome. She explained to me all the benefits of each part of the gym and why everything goes hand in hand. If I decide to move to Stockton, I will definitely sign up!

I recently moved here from out of town and started comin to this gym. I do like for the most part I guess. Its jus very small and some of the location of the equipment is annoying. Also, I already see some things I really dislike at a gym...which is the turnover rate with trainers ALREADY...smh...I really liked Nancy and was ready to book training with her and when I came in I was notified that she had been let go. I hope this is not a habit for this gym.

I powerlift and needed to get in a workout while on vacation. I cannot recommend this place enough! They allowed me a one-day guest pass for free, which was really awesome. The gym itself was so clean and had several squat racks and Olympic bumper plates so I could get my squats in. Very appreciative of this gym and would wholeheartedly recommend the facility to anyone living or passing through Stockton.

Be aware that you need to give them a 10 day notice when canceling your membership or else they will bill you for another whole month. Apparently six days isn’t enough time for them. Haven’t used the membership in months since I moved cities. What a money hungry grabbing business.

Much better layout and color scheme than the planet fitness gym. Host is chill. Prices are fair, keep in mind the 1 year contract with some of the memberships.

I cant speak highly enough about the facility and the service provided at the March Lane location.At the last gym I attended there was a stagnant feel to the environment which is why I decided to make the move over to Crunch. Here the energy in the in the building is pure motivation and good vibes. From the moment I walk in greeted with a smile by front desk to the helpful trainers and the have a good day on my way out, it totally sets the tone for the rest of my day.Its also nice to know there are knowledgeable trainers on site who are ready and willing to help you achieve your fitness goals. Personal thanks to Stanley for the game plan he helped me create. Although I didnt sign up for personal training he set me off on the right track and with his help Ive lost 10lbs in 2 months! More to go!!!Wooo!

Good gym. Just dont like the fact that the music is turn up to club level. Makes your ears deaf by having to turn up my own earphones.

Great gym, new equipment to use! Many treadmills and bikes to get your cardio in. Needs more squat racks and bench presses however. Locker room / Bathrooms are clean.

If I could give u a quarter of a star it would be to much. This was a horrible experience. They expect people to pay for membership before u step on the floor. A minor should not have to pay if they are accompanied by a parent. What happen to trial period. There are plenty more gyms way better then here. I just thought my daughter and I would give u a try... I will take my business elsewhere.

Where to begin, this place is great! Ive been coming to the here to Crunch for a few months and my experience has only gotten better. My girlfriend and I just signed up for their personal training sessions and they have been worth every second spent here. I sadly had to cancel my membership. I was a member since this gym first opened (back while they were still building the actual gym). What caused my abrupt cancellation? I cancelled because all of a sudden prices went up, including the kids club. Kids club is very important to me because I am a mother. It used to be $5 per drop in, now it’s $15-20 per kid. If you want to add your kid(s) to your membership, you have to get in a contract with crunch. If not, it’s extra $5 to your memebership on top of the price for a drop in. It sounds crazy and ridiculous. Mind you, I’m going off what the front desk manager told me... I asked why they made it that way all of a sudden and she said “because it’s unfair to those who have a membership...”, ok. But the day before I cancelled my membership, a guy couldn’t workout because the kids club was full, so he had to wait until a kid left so his kid can go in. Not only that but they advertise basic membership for $9 and some change. Now, it’s $9 and some change with a contract, or $9 and some change without the contract plus $5. So that’s about $15... like what?! By the way, that does not include any classes. To take a class, it’s another fee, or you get into a contract. When I first joined them when they first opened, there was no contract and prices were pretty decent for what they had to offer. Now there’s a contract and you pay more. Sorry, but what they offer is not worth it for the price. In addition, the gym is small, with limited equipment and it gets crowded. So....yeah, no.
