Horrible, rude customer service from the front desk lady. Made a reservation only to show up at my pick up time to no car. Was told that insurance claim customers dont have priority over others. First come first served basis. Enterprise doesnt have this ridiculous policy. Avoid.
Great customer service and no issues with returning vehicle. I will use Hertz car rental before any other one first.
My first rental las week was flawless.Unfortunately todays was awful based on the level of customer service.The vehicle displayed a low tire and when I brought that up to the customer service representative, his reply was that it should be okay.I demanded that it was inflated, he reached out to the maintenance guy and could not get a hold of him.I was told that I had to wait until he came back.I noticed the compressor they use to air up the tires there and pointed to the gentleman that it was there.He called the maintenance guy again and he confirmed that he was out.The representative told me that he did not how to use it to which I replied that I could just drive the car to the compressor and air it myself.He agreed and when it came time to simply plug the compressor to the wall socket he could not reach and stated that he did not know how they actually hook up the compressor.I proceeded to look around and there was a socket near drive where I moved the cart with the compressor.I was able to handle this issue myself while the gentleman was doing something on his phone during the whole time/process.I believe that all the employees should have training on how to complete this simple task and dont think it is too much to ask.

The business hours listed online are incorrect, but dont tell the representative at the desk, she will just point repeatedly to the make shift sign on the window. Customer service is subpar, of the 2 cars available we selected the dirty one over the one with a broken side mirror being held in place by a make shift string.
I am a very unfortunate person and when it comes to deer to crazy drivers I’m always the one to get in an accident . I have 4 co workers who have all gone to hertz for their cars and I’ve gone twice now very high quality great cars and it’s super true you walk up pick a car and on approved credit or unless you co-sign with someone you walk out with just a simple payment of the normal monthly fee I paid 265$ and drove off 3 hours later best place ever definitely going back to trade in or get another car they are awesome !!!!! I’m having my boss get a car there this weekend !!
I required a rental while my car was being repaired through my insurance. I called Hertz and the associate, Evelyn, greeted me on the phone in the most respectful, efficient and pleasant manner; she had already coordinated with my insurance company. This was such a relief, given my frustration with the repair work I was having done on my car. Evelyn arranged for a Lyft pickup to bring me down to acquire the rental.When I arrived, she was just as warm, professional and accommodating as she had been on the phone. She offered me options that would work within my budget, and she got me taken care of and driving away in almost no time at all.I have to admit that I was trepidatious when my insurance company told me they had made the arrangements with Hertz because of a very unpleasant episode I experienced with the downtown Stockton branch many years ago, but Evelyn assuaged all of my reticence, and I have already been referring my friends to Hertz in the Auto Mall and to specifically to request her.Oh, by the way, she was equally efficient when I returned the rental, and she got me out the door quickly, so I would be ready when my pickup arrived.I will DEFINITELY make sure to begin to rent from Hertz again, especially if they continue to have associates like Evelyn!

These people are as rude as you can get! They dont have cars in stock, even though I reserved online. They dont care. THE WORST!
12 days after I bought my car from hertz it broke down. Called them and they said were really busy right now and left me on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. The transmission went out and a specialist has to come look at it so basically I wont have my car for at least 2 months and they didnt even offer me a rental. I only had my car for 12 days and no ones offered to help me.
