The owner Will and his wife do amazing job cutting hair. I definitely recommend new city salon because the owners are very welcoming and interact with all their customers.

Will greeted me at the door the salon was very clean and every thing in its place. Will and Heidi were very friendly and happy to see me. Heidi cut my hair and did a wonderful job due to Covid 19 I had not been in the salon in a very long time but thanks to Heidi I got a good pretty hair cut and style. If you want a good haircut I would recommend The City Salon to everyone.

My boyfriend went in for a simple haircut-- a high and tight with longer hair in the front. He even showed her a photo for reference. She completely buzzed off his hair. The back of his hair is in a laughable fade. Not to mention the fact that his hairline is incredibly uneven and not shaped up at all. Where Im from, people would flip out over the treatment he received, but he is a lot more patient than I am. He had longer, gorgeous hair and now looks like he just enlisted in the military. I do not believe she has a beautician license. After he complained, she offered a free shampoo. Shes lucky he paid at all because I would not have. We will NEVER return and have been warning our friends of this laughable excuse of a salon.

I didnt even ask for A-line up for my mustache and beard and he overcharged me the lineup was uneven The haircut look like if a barber was a beginner and the last time the lady cut my hair way too good I regretted I should of waited for her to cut my hair anyways the guy was stubborn and I wouldnt recommend him

Crappy customer service with this place...they charge different prices for different people. Also either Will has a hearing, language barrier, or hes just a cocky person who doesnt feel the need to listen to your instructions. With very little options in Stockton for tapper fades...hes lucky to stay busy becaude on three seperate occasions he either cyt my sons hair extremely short, almost bald....gabe him lipsided side burns mesning they were mismatch, and left the hair too long when its supposed to be a clean cut but it looked like he didnt trim it at all....he tried telling me it ead because of the type of hair my son had but Ive been to other barbershops and theyve never came eith lame excuses for giving my son a 10 min haircuy and leaving it looking like they didnt put much effort into them. Ive seen what hes capable of doing when he puts his time and efforts and we unfortunately arent the ones receiving his best efforts....also i witnessed him charge a women him charge a woman that obviously had been coming there for a while $26 to trim 2.5 inches off of her hair. Wow...what a rip off. Took him 5 minutes or less. Hes gotten a little too comfortable and over charges if he feels like you can afford it. Charges me $12 each for my boys but $10 and $7 for some other lady thats been coming there for awhile. Im so done with this place....the last straw is me coming in with 45 minutes to spare and he had one client in the chair and one waiting vut he told me he didnt have time for my two boys because he had 3 people waiting and more coming....what a lie! He had one person waiting and just did not want to take the time to cut their hair and was trying to push me off to one of his lady friends.....i didnt come here for her, i came to get two tapper fades from the one and only person i know of in Stockton....for that i could have taken them to great clips. Bull crap customer service and they wont be getting our business any longer. So try them if youd like ti get what ever style he feels like doing thst day instead of what youbaxtually asked for and have received many times before and hell excuse his crap work with a crap excuse like i cant do thst cut with his kind of hair....wth?! So whats changed since the last 4 hair cuts? Nothing but Wills bad customer service. Hes lucky i came back as many times as i did even though ive been dissatisfied 6 out of the 10 haircuts between my two sons.
