Had the repairman come out and put a drain pump in my Kenmore washer. He did not turn off the electricity before the repair for starters. He ran a drain and rinse cycle rather than a regular cycle and it worked perfectly. That cycle had always worked. He left I went to do a load and within 8 minutes of a cycle got the same f33 error code. I called him and he stated that I needed to make a warranty appointment and there was nothing he could do as it likely fried the computer control module. Though all other features on the machine work. Now I’m waiting another week to get my washer fixed because the technician did not do his job properly. I would never buy another Sears or Kenmore product again. Prices were outrageous $500 to replace a drain pump.
Prompt and efficient
Always proteçting your appliàñces more than American Home Shield
The best that have had please take my word sears came out and fix my resignation and got a warranty for a year I did not wait to order parts 😀
Sears technicians are awesome. Professional and courteous.
Called two weeks ago repair man showed up said it was the compressor came back next day worked on my fridge. Still dont work tried to get him to come back and they say I need another appointment. Going on 2 weeks without a fridge
We have a seventeen year old Kenmore washer and dryer and have been receiving very good service (mostly maintenance) through those years. This visit was for our washer which stopped working.. When my husband called to make the service appointment the representative told my husband it sounded as though the water pump had gone out and my husband agreed with that assessment. The service man arrived 8 days later and his assessment of the problem was that the water pump had failed and needed replacement. and he would have to order the pump and come back in 8 days to replace it.This information was very disturbing to me because we were already pretty sure the pump had failed and so I would feel that there would have been a pump that fit my washer on the truck. (Sears knows my washer well and knows what pump is needed I am sure). This failure to supply a pump on the truck means that the service man must visit twice to our house and that we must be without a washer for more than 2 weeks!I did call and register my complaint before and I am hoping this will not happen to others. We have been very happy with the service to our Kenmore products (washer, dryer and refrigerator over these 17 years . The cost of the maintenance agreement is very high but we have paid it. We know the agreement states that if it appliance cannot be repaired it will be replaced and we have been thinking our appliances are probably reaching the end of their lives but since we have had such a long delay in this repair, with no washer, we have decided to buy a new washer and dryer. After research at consumer reports we have decided to buy Kenmore again because we do trust the products. I believe our service agreement with the old appliances will either be refunded or added to our new appliances.I am hoping we will continue to have very good service to our important home appliances from Sears.
The service people were very professional, friendly and helpful,, Even though they didnt arrive until slightly after 5:00 they didnt complain and worked until everything was completed. I am very happy with this service call and glad I have the extended service agreement.
My appointment was scheduled between 1-5 pm. Had to wait 2 week for repair. The day of the repair I sat here all afternoon waiting. 5:00 no call and no showing up. I waited until 5:30 and called the repair office got the run around finally they said they would call the repairman. They said he was held up and would be here soon. Finally he shows up at 7:00 o clock. 2 hours late. I tell him whats wrong he insists thats not what the problem is. proceeds to repair the lever for the ice flow on door. I tried to tell him its the arm that swings the ice into the opening because the ice is not dropping out. He says no. Hour and a half later he says its fixed gathers his stuff and leaves. Next day I try to retrieve ice nothing. So I call and Im told someone will call me back in one hour. I wait no call. so I call back and this time Im told they will call me in 24 to 48 hours. I call again get the same run around. finally I get another appointment. But again half to wait 2 weeks. We are in America why cant we get people that speak clear English so you can understand them then when you have to have them repeat it a couple or ask for a person that speaks clear English they get upset. I have dealt with Sears for over 55 years and never had such bad service.
Ken was a great technician that came in and checked our refrigerator. Had a great sense of humor as he was going about his inspection. Was very thorough and gave us great advice on how to improve the integrity of our appliance and gave us good info on what to watch for if we start to notice something not working correctly.
Made an appointment online and first appointment was rescheduled because serviceman did not have enough time. Second appointment was scheduled between 8AM and 12PM. Serviceman didnt show up until 1PM. He didnt finish the job until 7PM. And now after using the washer again, only 2 times, it is broken again. I spent over $300 and now I am shopping for a new washer.
One of the digital clock lines was not displaying. I called SEARS and told them what the problem was. They sent a local technician who confirmed my clock board needed changing (that was obvious to me, but he said they have to confirm first before ordering any parts). He ordered the part and came back with 3 days to replace it. He was punctual, did the work quickly, and I was pleased with the results.
The technician was very professional and provided excellent service.
To start with it was my DRYER ... not my washer. The first technician didnt know what he was talking about ... but they scheduled another technician for the next day ... man this guy knew immediately what was wrong with my dryer and he had an apprentice with him, so that is fantastic. He learned as well. Thank you for fixing my DRYER.
Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. So the issue ended up being human not machine. At some point someone, possibly myself :), turned off the hot water which diminished the ability of the washer to clean clothes. The tech quickly figured that out which cause me to feel a bit stupid but you live you learn. :)
The tech we had was very informative on our dryer issue. On the first visit he diagnosed the problems and placed the parts order, total time was less than an hour. About a week later the parts sowed up and he was scheduled to be here 2 days later and was prompt. On his second visit he was also finished in less than an hour. My wife and I are very satisfied with our service experience, which is a good feeling since we just purchased a new fridge from Sears, with an extended service warranty. We live in a rural area nearly 25 miles from the city, so their ability to keep appointments was a good sign.So far, so good. A happy customer
Very satisfied with the service tech who explained how to check the system. He adjusted it to the amount of water the household uses. I recommend this service highly.
Repair person showed up 2 hours after the assigned 4 hour window. There was no call ahead of time to let us know they were running late and no apology for being late once they arrived. Instead of going to the front door to knock they came in through an open garage door, which led to my wife being quite startled. The actual repair work quality was very good but the overall experience around the service call was poor. Weve had a service contract for our washer and dryer for many years but will not be renewing because of this experience.
After waiting two months for a back ordered part, the tech. showed up the next day and repaired my refeg. in ten minutes. Very happy now.
I had excellent service from a very nice man. Thanks. I just hope I dont have to wait 4 weeks to get additional service. 4 weeks is WAY too long when it comes to mowers. If I wait 4 weeks, I will wear the mower out trying to mow 4 weeks worth of growth. That is unreasonable.
I gave one star because I count not give a ZERO! Made an appointment to have my Whirlpool Front loading washing machine fixed. The error code that kept coming up was the water inlet valve. Printed the error code list and what the problem was 90% of the time. The technician came out and checked everything except the water inlet valve and put on the receipt that he could not verify the problem. Of course it is not going to come up with an error when you are in demo mode and you push the putt on to MAKE the washer drain and end the cycle every two minutes!! He left and said I have a 90 day warranty and I was charged $99 dollars. Before he was out of the driveway the error came up and I could not catch him. I called and was told the soonest they could get back out was in a week. I was upset and they insisted this was the soonest appointment they could schedule. So I scheduled the appointment on 2/12/18 between 1pm and 5pm. They were going to text me when the time was closer as I was having to leave work. I called the service center at 4pm as I had not heard from the technician yet and she assured me that I was next and he was on his way. When I called back again I was told it was after 5pm and he had gone home and we would have to reschedule again. Once again the soonest appointment was a week away on Monday 2/19/18 between 1pm and 5pm. They would text me when the time was closer to the appointment. I was very very upset and I asked to speak to a supervisor numerous times and was told there would be nothing they could do for me either. I told her I was not happy that I had taken off work and they had not bothered to call and say they were not coming. I wanted to know how at 4pm I was next and was on his way to 5pm he had gone home for the day. I was cut off three times being transferred to a supervisor. When I was finally transferred (big joke) it was the same customer service person that I had spoken to numerous times pretending to be a supervisor. I ended up ordering the water inlet valve and a new handle myself online. It arrived and it took my husband all of about 10 minutes to replace them. It has been working fine ever since. In the meantime I received an email from Sears stating muffin service appointment was not confirmed or scheduled as of yet. I just ignored it. Well a technician showed up at my door today (2/19/18) at 4:10 pm. My husband told him, he had already fixed it and shut the door. I will never use them for repairs again and I do not recommend them to anyone. As far as the $99 service call, I’m told them I feel they owe me a refund for taking off two afternoons of work and they provided nothing the first time and did not show up the second time. Was told they do not offer refunds!! Go online, they have repair manuals, parts and even videos that show you how to fix things. If its not there call anybody except Sears Home Service. They also do not carry any parts with them. So who knows it could have been yet another week before they could have fixed my machine! Never ever again..
Our tech, Craig, from Stockton, was very good. He called ahead and kept me informed on his schedule. He had the part on hand and was able to repair the refrig in one visit. He knew what he was doing. Nice to work with professionals!
Contacted repair service at toll-free number and spoke to Cassandra(?) and she was professional, courteous and friendly and scheduled someone to come out the very next day. The repair person came and fixed my washer and had me up and running again in about two (2) hours. I am highly satisfied with the service received from your repair service team. Thank you.
Do not use!!! Id rate this less than 1 if there was that option. I scheduled an appointment, got 3 e-mail confirmation notices, and 2 text message confirmations. No one showed up.
I was very satisfied with the Repairman and his Great work! He explained what he was doing! He was friendly and professional! Thank You Very Much for Your Service!
Making the appointment was a nightmare. They kept trying to tell me what I needed and wouldnt listen to what i needed or wanted. Hi g up on the guy and called back. On my call back, got someone more willing to listen. That being said, the repairman wasnt given the information I gave then call center!! Once the repairman was here, he fixed what needed to be repaired an was on his way. Call center I rate 1 star, repair service 5 stars.
Very helpful, honest, and pleasant! Quick and effective service.
I didnt want to use Sears but was told they are the only ones repairing LG refrigerators. My gut was right. The service man ran over 2 hours late, arriving after 7pm. And then after spending over $350 for an ice maker replacement (only $115 for the part), he never even checked it out except for the movement of the internal part. He never checked to see if the water was hooked up or if anything worked. I pulled the fridge out while he was there, which is when he realized it wasnt hooked up, tho I told him when he arrived it was not. Again, he did not check anything out. After he left, I tested the water spout. I heard water but didnt see anything. So I pulled the fridge out again to see there are some hoses missing on the back. Now that is not their fault, but would you not expect a competent repairman who just charged over $200 labor for a 15 minute job would look at it?? Extremely disappointed, Sears! And they are coming back, yikes!
The service guy came, checked the stove, ordered the part. (He was on time also)Part came in, he installed it and the stove works great. Thanks Sears!Great Service!
I was not there but my husband was. He said he did a great job. The man who came out even called me for approvals. Thanks...
The man was very nice but said he could not find the problem even though I told him in detail the issue. After he left, I washed a small load with HE detergent and placed the clothes all around the center to only have the UE problem show up four times during the wash.
My dishwasher had a noise coming out of it when it pumped water. The Tech guy tried to talk me out of the repair and told me the noise was normal. He then told me if he made the repair I had to live with it. Then said Deal. I said Im not agreeing to that. I told him I wanted it to work with no noise coming from the unit. He changed the pump and the noise went away. He wouldnt acknowledge that the situation was much better. To his credit he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair quickly and efficiently. I dont know why he put me through all the other nonsense.
Our technician was very professional. Called me before he came. Did a great job and was very nice and helpful. We definitely will call them again for help. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌great job...
Other than having to wait for six days for the repairman, the experience was great. The tech was here when promised and completed the repairs quickly and everything works great.
Technician showed up within his time-frame, was courteous, efficient and explained the repair process and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with his service.
The first scheduled appointment the service person didnt show up. My husband took off of work early to be there and we waited for 4 hours. We did receive two conflicting voicemails, in this order, stating that the service person was not able to make it. The second was that he/she was on the way from the previous stop. Needless to say, he/she was a no show. When the second appointment was scheduled, a week later, the work was completed quickly.
Excellent service, Washer is functioning perfectly after replacement of pump.
Horrible, unreliable, and unprofessional
The repairman was running late and wanted to reschedule, but I was in a jam time wise and needed my washer running ASAP. He worked it out and replaced the pump that same day. I will definitely call Sears again.
On time, called ahead. Very professional, friendly, and trustworthy guy. Repair was done very quickly and all is good!
Horrible! 5 min after the guy left it stopped working. They came out again a week later and tried to charge us $160 and left again and told us it should be covered under the appliance warranty when it should be covered under the 90 warranty. They are coming back today and Sears told me I may need to pay again if I need different parts. I paid for the parts which have been replaced and I have been told they were the wrong parts but, I still need to pay for them. What kind of rip off is this??? I will post again after today but, no one ordered parts so, I dont expect to have it fixed today.. Lets see if they try to charge again I will post again later
Tech came out in Sept to fix our stove top burner that would only stay only on High(3 ring stages). Now its Nov 17th and its still not fixed properly, now only 2 of 3 ring stages work. Tech has been out here 3 times and two of those appointments were reschedule as tech was sick. I called for a refund after being charged $293 and they offered $116. So that would mean they would make $177 off us and our problem was not fixed correctly. Im calling the Corp Office to hopefully either have them get tech to fix it correctly or get a full refund. Not sure what happen to Sears, use to be a very good reliable company, now they have an absolutely terrible service company. Will no longer deal with them in any respect other than this frustrating issue!
The repairman from Sears came out on time, and complelted the job on the built in microwave oven in a timely manner and to my satisfaction, and I was very happy. He was friendly, efficient and did a great job!
My dryer stopped heating. The first technician who came to my home was polite and professional. He discovered the issue and ordered the part, which he indicted would be delivered to my home. The night before my scheduled appointment I received a voicemail from Sears stating I needed to pick up the part and call them by 6pm or my appointment would be canceled. As a working professional I was unable to do so naturally, and was very disappointed with this customer service. I had to go pick up the part which was delivered to the UPS store, and not my home. Then call Sears and schedule a new appointment 2 days later. Overall, I would not rate this as a pleasant experience. However, both technicians were great.
Very Knowledgeable and introduced us to a product to get rid of washing machine smell!
The tech was honest and helpful. While it wouldnt have been cost effective to repair our washing machine, we did end up getting a new one
Although we had not originally purchased our LG refrigerator from Sears, I was happy that they could repair our bad compressor. The entire process went smoothly and Ben the technician did a wonderful job.
Informative and professional. He even turned the door on my dryer around for me. I thought we bought a dryer with the door facing the wrong way!
My sears repair tech went above and beyond my service. Very knowledgeable in my repair and was very professional in his performance of his repair work.
I am very satisfied with repairs from Sears to Kenmore Electric Stove-top, the professionalism of Technician, and punctuality of prior appointment.
Technician was very professional, courteous, friendly, and seems like he knows what hes doing!
Joe was on time, very friendly and efficient in replacing my ice-maker.
Brian who was the repairman on our riding lawnmower was efficient and highly professional. I couldnt have asked for better service.
Technician was on time and fixed my dishwasher in 15 min. Im glad I had printed out the 20% off coupon, because otherwise, it would have been close to $200.
The repair man did a great job. we could not have asked for a better job.
They never showed up for the scheduled repair.
Very bad awful lengthy took 6wks to correct! Unexceptable
Service great, repairs parts cheaper on line. Labor is pricey, but complete.
Service was quick, timely and the technicians were competent and friendly. Thank you.
I was hopeing for more better service, service man arrived 2 hours later than the window that was given to us, also the machine is making same noise so repair or diagnosis was off, so I will attempt to do it myself, you tube here I come.
Repairman was excellent in his manner and work.
Repair man was prompt, courteous and efficient.
Was very pleased with the service.
If youre DIY handyman you can get appliance parts here
Excellent help, very nice and knowledgeable!
He was very good and polite and very knowledgeable
Very poor customer service. Dryer is still not fix!!!
Repair person was experienced and tested completely all possible reasons for my dishwasher problems and replaced the heating element
After 3 times the washing machine is still not fixed!
Friendly, efficient and profeaaional
Came on time and put my mind to rest as he checked everything out!
Prompt, courteous and informative.
Sears appliance repair is ridiculous. They over-schedule their technicians, and they cancelled three scheduled appointments on the day of the scheduled repair. It was 6 weeks between my initial call and the completed repair. Very frustrating!!
Outstanding and prompt!
