I called this morning and asked about how my grandfather can get reinstated in the Medicare QMB program. The woman representative said we denied the continuation of the application a few months ago because we didn’t wanna contact the sponsor (this is due to personal reasons). I just asked if they’re the ones who contact the sponsor for us and she was so rude in answering, saying all these unnecessary things. She said, “we’re not social services. We don’t hold your hand and run around doing stuff for you. That’s your obligation.” That was not the point of my question. If it wasn’t possible, then it wasn’t possible. All she had to say was no if that was the case. Why did she have to say something like that? So disappointed. I thought representatives from Dept. of Human Services would have more compassion or at least be polite in answering questions.

Lots of services in one building. Courthouse social services,properly taxes, law library open to the public. Free use of computers. Social services. Veteran services, Sheriffs office

Human services Staff never smiles the front desk person could at least tacked like they want to help you and that they are glad they could help
