Very disappointing, I placed an online print order the previous day and went in mid-morning to pick it up. The order was transferred from a different store so I wasnt expecting to receive an email saying it would be completed given that I received no new confirmation and my original email still had the wrong location. Anyways, I check in at print station to see if my project had been completed. I was rudely answered by a young lady saying it wouldnt be ready until 6 pm. I was one of the few customers in the entire store and there was no one else wanting assistance at the print station, nor were other projects being printed at the moment. I completely understand if the store was busy or short-staffed that it wouldnt be reasonable to assume my project to get printed. But for such a small print project youd think theyd be willing to take a few minutes to print it on the spot. Instead, I will be making another trip out to pick it up later. I would recommend staff training on how to respectfully respond to customers, a Sorry for the inconvenience, but your project will not be ready until later would have been appreciated.
Customer service definitely needs Improvement. Three times in a row that I have been there the service I got felt slightly hostile and uncomfortable. When asking about a product I felt like I was pressured into buying a more expensive product than the one I had in mind also felt like when I went with a cheaper product than the one they recommended they got frustrated. That being said the store needs more Improvement on customer service in general. A costumer shouldnt have to feel like a burden when they need help and thats a huge disappointment.
I use OfficeMax often for print orders and have always had good luck. They’re fast, accurate, and high quality. They’ve always been done when I’ve gone to pick them up (I get text alerts) and staff are always polite and friendly. I’ve used them for supplies as well.I definitely recommend this OfficeMax for printing and general supplies.
I took in a very old picture - about 88 years old - and asked if they could make a couple of copies. The employee took this old, fuzzy picture and suggested that it might be easier to see if it was bigger.I said that sounded good. He then suggested that since he had to use a whole sheet of paper, would I like him to size them to fit the paper. Great!I left with two pictures Im happy to give to my mother for her 91st birthday.
Trish and Steven are incredibly helpful and kind. They went above and beyond for us. The store is wonderful and they tried very hard to make our order perfect. The lack of five stars is for Office Depot/Max as a whole company... not the individual store.

I had exceptional service from Steven at the Stillwater, Mn Office Depot. He went the extra mile for me and my printing needs. The most impressive part is that he never left a customer waiting while printing and cutting my order. Nice job Steven we need more people like you with A+ customer service skills!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Jordan at the printing center gave excellent customer service even when the situation was complicated.
The employees, Grant and Rob were excellent. They helped me find all of the school supplies I needed. Grant was very helpful by getting me products that had run out on the floor and reach things that were too high for me to reach by myself. I will definitely be returning!

Drive to the Office Depot in Woodbury instead, they are at least willing to work with you and replace your equipment. This one is terrible and the manager at this location is dummer than a box of rocks and needs major retraining in providing excellent customer care solutions! Find a new profession and save yourself the bad reviews!

Customer service in the store was great, although I do not like being lied to, to sell a product.I need to vent. I bought a 500gb Samsung Evo SSD from OfficeMax, was guaranteed 1 day delivery, when it doesnt show up the first day, I let it slide, when it doesnt show up on the second day, I call customer service. I get put on hold for a guy in an Indian call center, who can barely speak English, and he tells me after a few attempts to tell him the issue, that it will come on Tuesday.. Thats not a 1 day delivery, its a 6 day delivery. I will not be purchasing anything from OfficeMax after this. Its infuriating.
