Corey, My salesman was great to work with. It took 18 months and 5 days to get my new C8 Corvette and Corey kept me informed as to its schedule and was very patient in answering my questions. Ive already told some friends about my experience with Stillwater motors and how very satisfied Ive been with them. Tony, the business manager was very good to work with. Basically everybody there is great to work. Very well run dealership.
Scheduled an appointment for tire rotation and oil change, got in right away, received updates via text, which I liked. Everything went great as normal.
I brought my vehicle in to get a tire looked at that was leaking air. I told the service guy that I had brought it into Tire Pros the week before and they replaced the valve stem but its still leaking. After waiting 5 hours, they called and said nothing was wrong, so they cleaned the rim because it was dirty and put a paste on it. I drove it home and noticed it was still leaking air. I brought it in again to get looked at the next day. After waiting 3 hours, he told me the valve stem was leaking (even though I had just got it replaced a week ago). I drove it home and that same night it was still leaking. I took it upon myself to take soapy water and test the tire to find the air leak. I found it within 2 minutes and I marked it so it was very clear to the service crew. I called the next morning and the service guy told me theyd have 12 people in front of me and told me to come in the next day. I brought it in the next day and they told me they were short staffed and that it would be a while. After 3 visits, they finally fixed my tire after I had found the leak for them. Very poor service and from my perspective, very lazy mechanics.
Both parts of the transaction, Corey in Sales and Rich in Finance were superior interactions. I have purchased many cars over the years and generally rate them as negative experiences. Not so at Stillwater Motors. The process respected my time and the data was accurate the first time. I am definitely a return customer from here on out.
Everyone was friendly and professional. The man who signed me in immediately told me where I was in line, where the lounge was, and that he would come get me when my car was ready. Then the cashier couldnt have been nicer. Painless experience! Thank you!
On 6/28/21 I made an appointment on the Stillwater Motors website (chat) for 6/30/21 at 1:00pm to have an oil change, I received a confirmation email. In the confirmation email, they asked if wanted my windshield wipers replaced and I responded back yes. On 6/30/21, I arrived about 15 minutes early, as the gentleman was taking my car information he stated that he did not have me down for the appointment for 1:00pm. First he asked if had made the appointment online, which I stated yes. He then told me several times to just call us and make the appointment over and over like I didnt get it (at least 3 times in less then 5 minutes). I told him that I had received an confirmation email. He then stated that the online appointments do not get sent to them, so there is no appointment. He said, no worries, we can fit you in, there are only a couple cars ahead of you so it wont take long. He asked if I was waiting, which I said yes. He then asked if I wanted my windshield wipers replaced, yes. I also asked about the car bra that was placed on my car for a repair in the winter, asked him if I was to take this off now that it was summer because no one had let me know this previously. He said he would check. I then went to the waiting area. He came back and said he put the bra in the backseat of my car. I then waited, waited, waited, and waited for almost 2 hours....for an oil change!! I have had an oil change many, many times at Stillwater Motors and have NEVER waited this long for an oil change. There were several other costumers waiting and they were talking that it had been 2 hours or longer that they had been waiting. I would have gladly rescheduled my appointment for another day, or the gentleman could have stated that they were short staffed and that it would take some time, I would have had a family member pick me up, but nothing. I did not appreciate this gentlemans attitude. I took off work to do this minor task and wasted my time, if he would have been up front with me, I could have avoided this issue. It would be better costumer service if he would have been honest/up front when dealing with paying costumers. I wish I would have gotten the service gentlemans name, but I was taken aback for telling me over and over that the online appointment scheduler didnt work. Please remove this service from the website if it is not reliable!
Service department is always busy. Have had several alignments done there and been happy with their service. All in all good dealer to work with, Ive also bought vehicles from them

Was a great experience with Bruce and the finance team. They stayed way past closing time to get us in the car we wanted instead of having us drive home (6 hour drive) without our car. The only thing is I wish was we could have had more time so we could have been able to get form fitted mats for our car, and maybe a new Chevy hat, but at least we got the car we wanted. Thank you
Would rate lower if I could. Went in to get my oil changed. There was 1 person ahead of me. Waited 2 hours, went up and asked where my vehicle is. It just finished and is getting pulled around. wonder how long it would have taken if I didnt go ask... Then noticed my glove box was open and my socket for my after market lug nuts wasnt in there. Had to go ask someone to get it from the tech. Will NOT be going back. Absolutely terrible.
Jim really came through for me when no else could. We recently moved about 1 hour away from your dealership, and when I was looking for a Colorado I intended to buy local. But local couldnt help. Jim found my Colorado and made the deal happen. I appreciate all he has done for our family - this is the 5th vehicle we have purchased from your dealership. It was my first experience buying a car w/o my husband with and Lisa made it so easy! She was suggestive and made sure I was aware of all my options as far as different vehicles and she covered all the bases! When making my final selection, she covered the car from front to back and made me aware of all the features. She wasnt pushy or aggressive when waiting for me to think about the purchase and was awesome in answering all my questions!
Didnt buy from them but Service Dept is engaging in dishonest business practices. Took my truck in for a regular scheduled maintenance services, which included an oil change and tires rotation. Service record and receipt clearly stated they performed both, but my tires never were rotated ( I know because I clearly marked them with chaulk). Placed a call and left a mag to the service manager on the receipt expressing my concern; never got a courtesy call back.Dont waste your time and hard earned money supporting dishonest business. There are at least 4-5 Chevy dealers nearby. Exercise your freedom to choose.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience buying a car here just over the weekend. Dale, our sales person was great from the very beginning. I called to make sure the used car I was interested in seeing was still available and he answered that he wanted to “physically touch” the car before making me come out. When we got there he had it front and center ready for us to take a test drive. We ended up buying the car because it was a great find, but I think if we had not found that car to be the right one for us, we would’ve asked him to show us more cars, just because he was so friendly and inviting. Brian then helped us finalize the financing details, and was more than helpful in explaining not only the process but the warranties that came with the purchase as well. Whenever we are in the market for our new car, I know we will be coming out to Stillwater Motor just because of the great visit we had. Thanks again to Dale and Brian

I brought my vehicle to the body shop for a second opinion on a repair estimate. Carl was very helpful as he explained everything to me, including the insurance process. I really appreciated his patience with my questions, and how he took the time to explain the different repairs that would be needed, and why the car would be considered totalled.
We walked in four days ago to look at a car I had seen advertised and tonight we drove our new car home! Our salesman Dale was awesome, right off the bat he was personable- he listened to what we wanted and what we could do- he was upfront and honest, available for any questions we hadand made the entire process seamless for our family. Rich in financing was also awesome- knowledgeable without being intimidating, offered us real life advice (and terms we could afford!) and was honest with what he could do (and did )for us.Reputable dealership with excellent staff-would definitely recommend!

Friendly. They looked for a car in our price range. Both with Buick and Chevy cars. Being the inventory was low, I found a car we will enjoy. The last 2 cars were red and Chevy. This time I wanted a different color and model. The Equioix body did not change much at all so thats why we changed to different style car.
Awful experience with this strange group of people. I was trying to purchase a vehicle from another state (more than 700 miles away) and they were very unwilling to help me. Everyone from sales to managers and the business office were very slow to respond to my inquiries and unwilling to budge on price even though the vehicle has a laundry list of issues. I dont feel like they worked hard at all (or even cared enough) to earn my business. In my extended search for a vehicle, Ive never been denied financing until I landed here. It still doesnt make sense and there were no explanations given, but it all worked out because I dont want their car after all. I definitely feel that there was some discriminatory actions here for whatever reason. This is just my honest review and opinion. Find a reputable dealer with great customer service and a passion for properly assisting customers to do business with is my suggestion to anyone reading this.Dear owner, please keep your generic response. You care NOTHING about your customers and youre just going to have to accept that. Theres nothing that you can say or will do so dont even waste the copy & paste feature. You really deserve NO stars but Google is adamant about you having at least one🙄

Took my H2 Hummer in for service. The service dept including advisors very accommodating and kept me informed throughout the 2 days my truck was there.I did not appreciate the checkout lady who would not let me use my 10% discount card I had received in the mail because I did not have it with me at the time of checkout. The card was in my truck which I couldnt get to until the bill was paid. I was informed I couldnt bring it back to her to receive to 10% off unless I had it right then. Crazy concept! Not helpful at all. Ive never experienced such rudeness. It was like I was taking her time from her? She does not understand the concept Customer Service! Im not sure i will ever purchase or bring another one of my vehicles here.

Oil change took only about 30 minutes wait was told 1.50 hours..did a great job rotated my tires and topped off fluids if needed. never had a bad experience.

I went in due to a recall. I set everything up, I was talking to the scheduling person and he wasnt very pleasant over the phone. Seem annoyed and bothered when I asked for a loaner car. I believe his name was Jeremy. When I went in for my appointment the first guy who helped me wasnt pleasant either. He seemed in a rush and a bad mood. He informed me that I was not scheduled for the day (even though I had the email reminder and text) he said I was scheduled until the 20th. He also informed me that whomever I talked to set the appointment didnt finish filling stuff out so he had to finish for the other guy. Once he was done he passed me on to Jonathon who was the first and only person with good customer service that I talked to at this company. The job got done however the experience was not great.
Communication regarding the repair was excellent. The repairs were completed in less time than originally indicated. The Service Technician did a thorough check of the rest of the vehicle before releasing the vehicle to us. Being that this was a new car and the seriousness of the issue, I had a number of questions regarding the servicing of the car in accordance with TSBs from before we purchased the car. These were all answered in detail and our Service Manager made sure we understood the outcomes.
The sales team and finance team are amazing! They always treat you with respect and want to get the best deal possible for you and your family! We have bought a few vehicles from them and always have the best experience! We will always go to Stillwater Motors for our vehicle needs

We have been researching vehicles online for several weeks and found one at Stillwater Motors that piqued our interest. I called the dealership to talk to a sales representative about coming in for a test drive and was transferred to Dale Schneider. He was the most helpful person! He sent us information on the vehicles we were interested in and when I called him back after narrowing down our choice he had us come in for a test drive. When we got there he had the vehicle all cleaned up so we could really inspect it and he actually pointed out a scratch so we were aware of it. It was clear that he wanted to be upfront and straightforward. He had taken the time to warm the vehicle up for us so we didn’t have to jump into a cold car. We decided to move forward with the purchase and Dale was great through the whole thing. He knew we had driven several hours to get there so he made sure the process moved along so we could be on our way before it got too late. I also have to mention that working with Tony the Finance Manager was a pleasure also. He walked us through everything and made sure we understood exactly what was happening. Dale checked in on us a couple times to make sure things were going okay. We drove home in our new vehicle last night and we couldn’t be happier. Dale called us this morning to make sure we got home ok and to see how the ride was. We were very impressed with the whole operation and should you decide to buy a car from Stillwater Motors ask for Dale, you won’t be disappointed.
Spoke with both the customer service and sales rep and they confirmed that this vehicle was available and in stock. Ten minutes later, I get a text saying its no longer in stock with no explanation provided. Very unprofessional.I called back and they did not pick up. Then I went on their website to speak with a customer service rep and was ignored yet again after asking if the vehicle was in stock . Customer service needs improvement.

Me and my Husband had been in contact with Anthony, one of the salesmen at Stillwater motors. I have never felt like so much of an inconvenience to someone who I was potentially giving my money to.Right from the start we were one worded the entire time, for him to slug down in his chair when it was time to talk numbers. He tried little to non to sell us on the car and seemed he could not care less if he made the sale.We drove 3 hours to look at a vehicle- and If it had not been for Anthony’s poor attitude and unprofessionalism - we would have left with one too.
Scheduled oil change online. Showed up and they told told me they don’t take appointments for oil change? Fix your web page to reflect your actual services. Waiting an hour and 1/2 for an oil change sucks. What did the service guy do that was allotted my scheduled time?

After I paid cash in full for car the sales person never returned a call to me the customer after me leaving a message regarding some negative problems with my new used vehicle I bought at Stillwater Motors. I left 5 messages at dealership and not one person called me back. Not a sales manager or the sales person that I left a message on there voicemail.

As I was waiting on my service done to my truck I walked outside and I found a 2015 Jeep Wrangler I emailed Stillwater motors even though I was there just to see what a price would be rather than me walking inside and have to deal with 300 dealers salesman that attacked me as soon as you walk in the door I work with one particular salesman up there for a reason I bought in four or five cars from him so I email them two and a half weeks later I get a response. And the responses I got your email this is Sadie thats about it no price I was asking for a price and nothing.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful and kind in addition to being very knowledgeable about their products.What else could you ask for?
Absolutely awful experience. I went a few weeks ago to purchase a vehicle from them. I talked to them three different times on the phone the day of too. And drove three hours just to get this vehicle from them. When we got there we had to wait for a worker to come. It looked like all the salesmen were just standing around talking. Oh and they were rude and seemed too busy to talk. When a sales person finally got there they told me the car was sold. Claimed they emailed me, when I checked all my emails and my spam folder and didn’t have one. Then I got another call from them the next day asking if I got the vehicle. No we wasted a three hour drive.
I brought my 09 Saturn Aura in with transmission problem. Car has 71000 miles on it. They tell me five grand to fix. GM is not interested in helping out. I got it fixed for two and a half grand less. The guy that programs the computer on the car says they are replacing these GM transmissions all the time! What a joke! Im all done with GM. Ive been GM all my life, but not anymore.

I bought a used truck from here about a week ago, and could not be happier with the service I received. I worked with a salesman named Matt. He was very easy to work with. The only issue I had is that the check engine light came on on my way home from the dealership. So I texted Matt and told him what happened. He texted me back the next morning to bring the truck back that afternoon to troubleshoot it. They found the problem and told me to bring it back the following Monday to have them fix it. In terms of working with them I would do it again 100%. Very satisfied with the customer care here.
Will use the shop, they did a great job. Will never use body shop again. I had a new box side put on my truck and less than 2 years paint was bubbling and rusting that was the newest part of the truck and the rustiest part. I talked to Denny Steele he said this is Minnesota it is going to rust. poor workmanship does not stand behind their work. I had it done at a Gm dealer never again. But the mechanics shop is good to work with.

If I could give zero stars I would! I have never dealt with such an arrogant, rude, unknowledgeable group of people! From the sales gal to the service garage not wanting to do their job. I had to call back and fourth between the service department and my warranty company, Im pretty sure thats the job of the service rep. I will never give this place another penny of my money!

Terrible experience with used sales, I get I bought a Lexus but the sales staff should still do a little research before trying to sell a car. I was told the car would be detailed but when I took delivery of the car there was still dirt and trash that I had noticed on the test drive a few days earlier and I figured a detail would be a little more than a wash and tire shine, the car was not buffed or waxed which is pretty standard when a car is sold as I worked at a dealer. When I took delivery of the car it did not start and was told it was probably because someone left a light on or because the car was sitting, nothing was left on and a car should not be dead for sitting for 3 days and then it takes the guy a few minutes trying to open the hood and then just smashes the cover onto the positive on the battery and does not put it on properly. After I get the car started I noticed there was only a quarter tank of gas, I have never been to a dealer that does not provide a full tank of gas when a car is sold. Horrible experience and would not recommend buying a car here. UPDATE: dealer has still not reached out, for some reason a chevy dealer in Chicago contacted me regarding this review and we were both equally confused.
Came in for an oil change, tire rotation and was met by Chris. I informed him that I was leaving on a vacation and he made sure that my truck was given a thorough check prior to leaving. A very knowledgeable service tech and he really made my visit a pleasant one!

Everything was a good enough experience until I was brought to the financing guy at the end. He was condescending. I am 32 years old and paying for the car myself but he made if mommy and daddy are paying comments when I felt unsure about which option to take. I would say it was an uncomfortable situation where pressure may be felt and one leaves as if they were made a fool or taken advantage of. I was also presented the information as if I had no option but to take one, when I believe it was optionable. Perhaps present it where you articulate the need and importance for financing, which will raise the monthly payments, rather then just pulling down the mask, talking stern, and saying yeah well if mommy and daddy are paying then...
I was seen right away even though it was busy, oil change was fast and I was out the door very quick.

Five years ago we bought a used Toyota Corolla from Stillwater Motors. We have loved the car from day one of owning it. We were so happy with our purchase that, approximately one year later, we purchased a second used vehicle from them.A few days ago, I brought the Corolla back to Stillwater Motors for body work. I picked it up today and when I got home, I called Denny Steele the Body Shop Manager to thank him and his team for the beautiful job they did on our car. I purchased my first Corvette from Stillwater Motors in May and brought it back in for its first oil change and to check a possibly damaged tire. They were able to find and fix the damage to the tire and changed the oil exactly as I asked (specific oil and filter request). The service was cheaper than I expected and was completed quickly. As I had to pick the car up after the service center was closed I had to ask for help from the sales team when I got there and they were great. I found they had stored my car in the service drop off area. And I want to specifically call this out and thank them, because the car is a Corvette and is very special to me, this kind of care means a lot, that they didnt just leave it outside where something could happen to it.Thank you all for making this an outstanding experience.
Carl in the body shop provided excellent service and helped me resolve a small incident that damaged the equinox. The final bill came in lower than quoted and the car was returned clean inside and out. I am very pleased with the auto body experience.
My husband, Tom Roberts, and I just left Stillwater Motors. We were interested in trading our car for a truck. Troy Bernard, our salesman was great. However, Mike the used car man who appraised our trade was not. He greeted us by saying, I dont want to insult you then promptly did! He asked if we did our research and knew our numbers then said Well then I win! Actually Mike you lose- a customer and sale that could have happened if you had simply said you couldnt pay what we wanted. Respect for the customer was clearly lacking Mike.

My boyfriend was looking for a used truck for around $10k. He found an add on Facebook market place for a truck at the dealership and called to come look at it. The sales men asked to call us back as he didn’t know if the truck was still there, which was fine. After confirming the truck was there we came in to look at it. The truck looked like it had just been traded in, it’s wasn’t cleaned or anything, which we weren’t worried about but the sales men had absolutely no knowledge about the truck. He didn’t know why the check engine light was on or really anything other than “just take it for a drive”. After we test drove the truck, my boyfriend asked am I able to take it today? And the guy responded “what do you mean?” I thought the question was pretty straight forward. Anyway, the sales men said no it still has to go through safety tests, we need to run the check engine light, and detail it. I guess I was a bit confused why they would post the car for sale if it wasn’t ready to sell. So we came back the next day after they ran the diagnostics and were told it needs to have the gas cap replaced and a few other small things. We decided to purchase the truck and sat down with the sales men. Let me just say, if I wasn’t with my boyfriend I would feel extremely uncomfortable buying a car here. All of the salesmen were older men and talked with us about the truck as little as possible. After finishing the paper work and paying, we were asked to wait for it to be done getting detailed. When we finally got the truck, the inside had not been cleaned at all, the only “detailing” they did was shine the tires. When we got home, we scrubbed the inside leather and detailed it ourselves for a few ours and the before and after is unbelievable! A few days later the check engine light comes back on, my boyfriend ran the codes and it was for the gas cap, which the dealership said they were taking care of. We checked and they didn’t replace it or anything, they just cleared the code. The worst part of this was on the add the truck was listed at 163k miles. On our paper work and the oil change sticker the miles were listed at 163k. We left with the truck and noticed the next day there was actually 168k miles. We called to ask about it and were told the truck was sold as is, sorry. Disappointed in our experience with this dealership. Will stick to private party in the future or go to Hudson.

Sales person was friendly and took his time with answering our questions. The whole experience of finding the right car for, signing the loan papers was quick and easy. Everyone was friendly. Would go back there again for our next car.
