Most of the staff are fake. They act so helpful, But not so much. Just a few staff are truly helpful and truly caring.. Its great if you need a safe place to go for a short time but you gotta do all the work. They dont help at all when it comes to getting a place. And after leaving the shelter, they petty much offer nothing as far as help...

Stayed at this place 2 times, the first time I stayed it was great up to the point where I was unable to retrieve my clothing for a week so they decided to donate it, and they told me they were able to keep it for a month. The second time I stayed I got stuck in a snow storm I called in to let them know I was unable to make it back and I was assured everything was ok, upon my arrival back they had most of my things packed ( and what I mean by most packed, it did not include my personal food purchases) and told me I had to leave. And in the process of it all they told me, we turn people down all the time! One of the advocates told me, your not in an abuse state, your just homeless, even though I had paperwork proving my abused state. I got a job while there and did all requirements as requested and beyond that, but I guess you got to be lazy and have nothing to flourish in this establishment

This place this sick, I know this poor lady she is a good women, she was going through a hard time, had cancer and had her breast removed... she went to these people for help and they allowed someone to steal her clothes... please if anyone has a need get a hold of New Freedom Prison Ministry they help and they dont steal.... I am going to help in this matter I a writing a letter to United Way

They do the best they can with the resources that they have..,. Dont believe every review that you read..... because sometimes folks comment without acknowledging or understanding the whole story....

Staff is very knowledgeable. They took time to provide me information and services, even though I am a secondary victim.

I feel very fortunate that our community has this resource available to them!! My hope is that we will one day live in an environment that the Family Crisis Center will no longer be needed to shelter individuals and families from domestic violence and sexual assault.

That is so sad about that poor lady getting her clothes stolen, I will never support this place again, how can you go to a place and they allow people to steal your clothes.... I wish I knew her I would give her some money to get new ones

They steal clothes and the staff is bad and they lie.. this is a place to help people and they allow people to steal.

Was told my therapy dog would be allowed to stay with me. Next morning they tell me they just changed their policy and only allow service animals for physical disabilities not emotional ones. They then gave me 24 hours to leave.
