Id been looking forward to this round all summer and it didnt dissapoint! I never played it before the remodel so I cant compare it to the original, but its easily one of the best and most visually appealing courses Ive played anywhere! Best greens Ive played all year and an all around treat. Stevens Point Country Club deffinatly needs to be on your must play list if its not already!

We photographed an amazing rainy day wedding at the Stevens Point County Club. Jenny, the event coordinator, and her team were amazing. They were always there, making sure every guest was content and that every single moment of the day was perfect. With the rain that showed up, Im sure that they had to move quickly to flip the reception site to accommodate for an indoor ceremony. The flip looked immaculate and the atmosphere was that much more cozy because of the rain outside. Jenny was so helpful (not to mention incredibly genuine) to us and made sure our photography team had everything we needed to produce a captivating gallery for the newlyweds.The couple had their first look under the Edison string lights on the back porch. With the rain lightly pattering down, it could not have been more intimate and lovely. We finished up the remainder of their photos indoors and by the cozy fireplace.The indoor space alone is perfect for a wedding, not to mention the stunning scenery outside. If youre looking for professional venue staff who are very detailed-oriented, then youve found it all at the Stevens Point County Club!

Fantastic golf course with some memorable holes and excellent greens. You wont find better rolling putting surfaces anywhere. The re-design brings in some modern aspects and difficulty while being fair and fun. The course is a dream to walk with short green to tee distances and a relatively flat profile. Highly recommend the course, staff, and facilities.

Very clean and very spacious. Was there for a wedding that was supposed to be outside but due to weather it was inside. Had plenty of space for the ceremony and guests.

Beautiful layout and aesthetics. Very enjoyable to play. Superb conditioning. This is a hidden gem that I hope to play any time I am in the area.

Great place for a family to come and hang out. Kids can have a great time in the pool and its also a beautiful golf course. Plenty of activities to do in the winter time also. Every time we eat at the club I feel I am back on the cruse ship with the menu options.

Greens were large but challenging. Course appeared to be well kept and had a good variety of challenging holes.

Amazing layout. Great mixture of risk / reward par 5’s, tough par 4’s and beautiful par 3’s. Best conditioned golf course in the state (and that’s saying something with Sentry right next door). The greens are the crown jewel at Point; undulating, slick and firm. I could play here every day and never get bored.

Great place and wonderful food!

Course has really come around since the renovation. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Its like a wildlife park some days.. saw a 12 point buck, Bald Eagle, and had a Hawk land on the green while putting in the same round.. great views and very rarely is the pace slow.

We recently joined and its under construction but Im sure once its done it will be a great place to be. The pool is family friendly and the food is actually really delicious. We were hoping as members to have more communication about events, happenings and other things but havent. Looking forward to everything becoming fully operational.

I recently played Stevens Point Country Club for the first time. Since this was my first time, I have no way to compare it to the previous layout or condition. However, I am aware of the challenges they have faced in dealing with the loss of hundreds and hundreds of trees due to chemicals and wind storms. Im sure for the members and regulars those were devastating events. However, they are truly in the middle of mining the silver lining in the black cloud. They are redesigning the course and lining the fairways and transition spaces with waste areas and blow-out type bunkering. Not only is this a very popular design item in modern course architecture, but to my eyes, it is visually appealing as well. In talking with someone there, underneath the surface layer of topsoil is all this wonderful sand. Thats the best foundation surface a course can hope for and they are now bringing it into play. In making my way around the course, its clear that the work is not completed. It is not a coherent whole yet...but the key word is yet. I can see where they are going and I think theyre going to have a fantastic course on their hands within the next 2-3 seasons. It is highly playable and well-conditioned now. I think anyone playing it will have a very good experience. But by 2020, there will be a whole new vision for what Stevens Point Country Club is....and how appropriate is that?

The Stevens Point Country Club was the perfect choice for our daughters wedding. We comfortably seated 125 guest and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal that was served hot and on time by their exception staff. Our guest enjoyed the deck, bar and dance floor. Thank You!

The Country Club renovation has added a wonderful shine to the Country Club as a whole. A wonderful place to be.

A beautiful course. Really sad to see that many of the trees died. It has a unique old school to it feel it. Massive sand traps and waste areas. Greens were quick and perfectly well kept. The day I went the practice area we were hitting off mats which isn’t so great but I beleive it was due to grass repair. In 5 years this will be a premiere Wisconsin course. Just needs a little love and care

Nice bar area. Great staff. However the food needs work.

My nephew had his wedding and reception there. Top flight service and an excellent facility. Cant comment on the golf course.

Have been here a few times for work events and family gatherings. Have never been very impressed, food has been cold more times than hot and they seem to be very slow.

My sister golfs here for SPASH golf and likes it alot.
