The only place I will take my vehicle. They are always professional, kind, skilled and most importantly, honest. Ive never felt uncomfortable going into that shop alone or felt like I was going to get anything less than the best service at the best price possible. They do great work at reasonable prices and with integrity.

WORST business in stevens point. DONT even deserve 1 star review. Work took longer than expected and was charged more than originally estimated. Most expensive shop in town. Terrible customer service. Same owner owns Goldkey Motors. Another crook of a business. DONT buy a car from that car lot. You will get screwed by owner Kevin Flatoff

My buddy ignored the rumors about this places attitude problem and off-color talk. Wish she hadnt. The price seemed right for a reason. They dont do the job. The part they charged to replace, is the one that was with the vehicle when it got dropped off. Go somewhere else.

2006 VW Jetta TDI with 5 speed manual transmissionWhen my car started running rough I was SO afraid I wouldn’t be able to find anyone local who had the know-how to fix a VW diesel aside from a VW dealership who probably would’ve charged me more than the car’s KBB value to get it fixed. I can’t describe my relief at finding a local auto shop who had someone who could help! Austin (described to me as “the VW King” by his fellow technicians) knew exactly what was wrong as soon as he popped the hood and kept me informed throughout the entire repair process. They told me where each part was sourced, what each cost and how long it’d take to fix and the quote was perfectly fair. My broken motor mount ended up being a pricy fix but I’m happy to pay for good work I know I can trust. All the guys I talked to were friendly and helpful and they even offered to come pick me up when the repair was complete & it was time for me to get my car. I do my own oil changes, but if anything I can’t handle comes up again, Second St. Auto is now my go-to auto shop! Thanks again Todd & Austin!

I have visited this place twice recently for some car issues. The staff is helpful, and Im very appreciative of how upfront and informative they are on any issues with your vehicle. I also give high marks because they were willing to adjust so that my vehicle was fixed by the time I needed it for work. And hey, the pricing was rather good, too. I do recommend them.

Would give 10 stars if it was possible. Honest, caring, knowledgeable, efficient. And reasonable. Unfortunately I moved and havent been able to get service like this anywhere in the country since. Miss these guys.

Tired to rip me off, wanted to charge over $1,100 to fix my ac. Took it to someone else and said it was an easy job that can be done for under $400. Also way overcharged me for the alternator I got replaced. Dont go here if youre a young woman who doesnt know much about cars. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE!

I was able to get my car in on a last-minute appointment to have the rear pads / rotors replaced along with the serpentine belt. They quoted me out over the phone before I brought the car in, then called with a second quote after the car was on the lift. Car was done exactly on time. Cost was exactly as quoted. Top-notch shop with excellent prices. I highly recommend them.

Hats off to Second Street. My son, attending UWSP, needed his muffler fixed. I, the bill payer, am from out of town. They did a good job taking care of us, working with my sons schedule, and allowing me to pay over the phone. When my son needed to come back and have an adjustment made to a hanger rod, they took care of it in 15 minutes. Great job, the guys were easy to work with, and thanks for everything.

This shop is the real deal. They know their stuff. Will get you in no matter what. They call you right away and tell you what they know. They are very fair with pricing. They understand your stress and treat you like a real person. Its about as good as you can get, to the old hometown service in Stevens Point.

Went in to get a quote on new break pads and was quoted over $1200 as they listed more damage. I went on to get them done elsewhere for under $600. They charged me $59 for the quote. As a student beware and avoid.

Went to Second Street Auto Clinic after my brake line broke and the service was wonderful. Not only did the gentlemen there find and fix the problem in a timely manner, but they also charged me a fair price for the services done. Bravo Marv and the crew. If I ever need anything done, Im coming over to you!

They got me in right away even though it was very last minute! My car was fixed within 6 hours and I took it home that same day! Awesome place and they offer a 10% student discount for parts! Saved me $44!

I wouldnt give this place one star if it wasnt for the fact they got my vehicle and immediately when it broke down on the way through Stevens Point. They charged me over $550 for a wheel bearing that list for just over $200. I paid it in one on my way because what other choice do I really have when my truck is sitting in their parking lot

Marven at 2nd Street Auto is the best when it comes to customer service and knowledge about vehicles. I put 60,000+ miles on a year for work and he takes care of ALL my vehicle needs when I come in an need them done in a hurry. Brake pads, rotors, calipers, radiators, wheel bearings, you name it. Very quick turn around time and very reasonable prices.
