Not completely sure what happened but I kind of feel like I mightve been taken advantage of. I went in for an oil change, mirror put on and asked them to drive my car because something isnt right with the way it drives and I feel unsafe to be honest. They said it was my breaks, tires and struts... Well I asked what would be the most important thing to fix now to help with the problem Im having and they said the breaks so I paid all together $760 for everything and my car still drives the same way, might even be worse and Im stressed out about it and a little disappointed...Not exactly sure what happened but if you plan to take your vehicle here make sure you ask directly for what you need and hope you get a good mechanic.

I had a bad valve stem that I noticed before driving to work in the morning. My tire was low. I called Schierl on the way to work. They were booked for the day but said they would try to fit it in. I dropped off my truck and they shuttled me to work. They fit my truck in, fixed it and at the end of the workday picked me up and shuttled me back. Everyone was professional and courteous. I wasnt even late for work. Thank you!

I brought three of my vehicles here this year. Two of them had to be dropped off for brake system diagnosis. I dropped them off in the late morning. Both of them had needed an all new brake system. They got the parts ordered/delivered, had the work done & final test drive done before close! Speedy & quality service.

My wifes previous oil change at Schierl came with the warning that her tires needed replacing. They dont, they have fewer than 15,000 miles on them. This oil change came with the warning that her brakes needed replacing, no mention of the tires this time. Inspection by another service shows the brake pads and rotors are fine. This is the type of behavior I might have expected toward a woman 40 or more years ago. I would warn everyone, especially women to stay away.

Spent $2,500 and was left with a car that did NOT start! Unbelieveable, you do a whole check on the car and say it is good to go yet go there to pick it up and doesnt start and still have issues to figure out and they are no help. Will definitely be going somewhere else from now on. Whos to say the other work they did was needed? What did we really spend $2,500 on.......a car that didnt start........

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the employees at Schierl Tire & Service. They saved me from a horrible weekend, and I owe them so much for it.Little backstory, I do not live in Stevens Point. I was visiting my girlfriend Friday night. Saturday morning comes around, and I leave for my home around 11AM. My brother was visiting from his service in the Navy, and he was at my house waiting for me to arrive home. He could only stay a night or two, so we had many plans set in place for the weekend. I only got as far as a few blocks away from my girlfriends house (which happened to be near Schierls) and suddenly I hear half of my exhaust scratching across the road beneath me. I looked everywhere online and every place I found who could help me was closed; and wouldnt open until Monday, the only place I found that was open was Schierls. I walk over to the shop, and see they are clearly busy and are only open for one more hour. I walk up to the front desk, and the gentlemen behind the counter heard me out as I expressed my problem. They informed me they were booked (which was very clear with the amount of people and cars I saw) - but do you know what happened next? The employee said they could wire up my exhaust for me since they had the tools for it and it would take only a few minutes. The employees at Schierls managed to just squeeze me into the schedule before close to ensure I could at LEAST make it home.To my surprise once the job was finished, they didnt just wire up my exhaust for me, they actually managed to give me a more permanent fix to actually solve the issue. They didnt even charge me any extra for doing that, just the original very cheap minor service fee that I was quoted from the start.The car is running amazing and I made it home safely to spend time with my brother. The employees at Schierl Tire & Service saved me, and I am so grateful. I highly recommend their services to ANYONE.

This place is amazing! I got a flat tire as I was passing through Stevens Point and even though they were incredibly busy, they managed to squeeze me in. The price is incredibly reasonable and the customer service is unmatched. I ended up needing four new tires, as mine were quite old, and everyone there was extremely helpful and unexpectedly efficient. Since it was last minute, I didnt expect to get out of there for four or five hours and I got out in around 1.5 hours! The shop even offers a shuttle service while you wait for your car to be done. I would highly recommend this place for all services!

Got the work done as requested/expected. Communication was lacking, overall service was a bit slow. Didnt feel like customers were a priority.

This is under CVD19 regime: Schierl offered free pickup and delivery. I ordered an oil change. They called before coming, arrived on time, put protective sheet on driver’s seat (don’t know if they wore gloves). It was returned in less than 2 hours with oil changed and all the inspections that would have been done at the Honda dealer. They called for approval to change two air filters before continuing. The cost was In the range of Honda’s, perhaps less. I am very pleased and will use their service again.

I got a flat tire on my 5th wheel trailer while traveling with my family, (wife, 3 kids, and 2 dogs). Schierl had me back on the road with a new tire in less than an hour, and checked the tire pressure in the rest of my tires to make sure my family was safe. When I got home from our trip, I decided to have the other three tires replaced so it didnt happen again. At Schierl I paid $180 for one tire, back home I paid $800 for the other 3. I wish I would have gotten all 4 new ones at Schierl. I wish I remembered the name of the young man who changed my tires. He was very helpful during a very stressful time.

I have taken my vehicle here twice for repairs, first time they charged me a very high number for what needed to be done and later apologized and gave me some of my money back. This was after the fact that I had to bring up the ridiculous price that was charged. After that I thought I would give them a second chance so I took my car in again to get a quote and was quoted roughly $2000 more than a dealerships quote. I would not recommend going here unless you know what is wrong with your vehicle and roughly how much it should cost you. I am very disappointed in them as I have heard such great things about them.

I came into Schierl tire in Stevens Point yesterday for a slow leak in my tire. I dont live in Stevens Point and was worried about getting on the highway with that tire which ended up being a nail in that tire. They were able to get me in right away, which was great !! Danny who works the front desk was so friendly and worked efficiently making sure folks were taking care of. I cant thank you enough Schierl tire for all yours help and thank you for being so professional and nice to folks. I will for sure come back....

I had a coupon for a free oil change..So I go in to get my oil changed..and before I leave he tells me I owe 28$. I asked why I was being charged for a free oil change and they tell me that the oil change there is 45$, I was never told that in the beginning, The manager said they were supposed to give me something to sign stating the price .they never did. I will never go there againUpdate. The manager of the store reached out to me..his name is Eric. He apologized to me for not being shown a price, or having me sign something. He explained how important customer service is to him..and told me I will receive a free oil change the next time I need one. Thank you to Eric for making things rite. It shows how much he really cares. Thank you again!!

The guys at Schierl saved my vacation. I blew a tyre on the freeway three hours from home. They had a full set of tyres for my vehicle, and they installed them in no time. The price was about half of what I expected. They even drove out to meet me on the freeway in case I couldnt get my spare on to drive to their shop!

I always have great luck with Schierl. I have done business with the one in Stevens Point and the one in Weston and both are terrific. They are quick, courteous, clean, and they charge great prices. My vehicle runs on full synthetic so oil changes can be a bit more expensive, at Schierl they charged $35 but at other places I have paid as much as $90. Their hours could be better, but I am going to keep doing new business just because of the quality.

What a wonderful experience. I had a flat tire and was told by another company that it was not repairable. I took it to Schierl first thing this morning and they said it was repairable! Was just rescued by these guys. Hit a nail while driving from the Milwaukee area toward the Northwoods. Tire kept going flat. Called them at 4:45 PM on a Friday mind you and Kevin said, If you can make it here, we will fix it. Sure enough, all fixed, back on the road and the even crazier part, it was NO CHARGE. Perhaps only one star for their knowledge of tires appropriate for an electric car like my Chevy Volt. Full 5 stars however for what they did about it. Per ther reccomendation I put on Good Year Assurance. I had great experience with them on my last two gas cars. I was concerned however about the performance on an electric car. I tried them anyway.Schierl honored the 30 day guarantee without question and replaced them with the Michilan Defenders that are reccomended for my car by the manufacture and many blogs and message boards. My wife took the car in for the exchange and was nervouse doing so expecting some negativity. Nothing of the sort happened. Staff was helpful, curious, friendly, understanding and supportive. This seems to be a great place to do business.RE: the Michilan tires, The difference is incredible. I know I will sacrafice a little traction in the snow but the handling is better, the noise is only a fraction of the GY and the roll resistance is very noticeably less.Thanks, Schierl Tire

I came in to get my tire fixed. I had the worst time getting the spare on, I came in after a hectic day at work, and finding out that the repair was FREE. Made my day. The service was amazing, even without paying I was offered cold beverages in a nice sitting area off to the side, as they even put the tire back onto my car. For free. To stress that. 10/10 would go again, but hopefully no more flats anytime soon!

The reason I gave it a 3 star rating because the customer service was sad. I travel and was about to get back on the road so I wanted my tire checked out and my car inspected. The man behind the counter was like he didnt want my business. I had a week before I get on the road so I was willing to get a appointment for later on in the week it was as if that was a problem. This is one of the bad things about traveling you run into bad service and rude people. Im not going back because if you cant show your customers respect how can you do a good job on my vehicle
