Auto Select did a fantastic job fixing up my truck! I was out of state, and the still updated me on changes and progress that was being made. When I got back to town they had everything working great, and I was able to pick it up.

Recently I was referred to Auto Select by a friend. My vehicle hadn’t been driven for well over a year and I was worried! This turned out to be one of the best auto repair experiences I’ve ever had in over 40 years. Doug and his team were courteous and professional. From our first phone conversation, to Chris’s towing of my car, to vehicle drop off every single person I spoke with was respectful, caring and made a sincere effort to please. Everything was explained well enough that even I could understand. The services they performed were top notch with very competitive prices. And they even washed my car for me. I was in desperate need of new brakes and rotors and had put it off wayyyy too long. The guys got me in within a day of calling and were extremely friendly and professional. They were upfront about pricing and I felt what I paid was very reasonable. These guys must have daughters of their own because I always feel respected and comfortable taking my car here knowing they will do what needs to be done for a fair price.

I highly recommend Auto Select St Point South. I thought I needed a power steering pump, but it was 2 leaks in the line. The sway bar link was broken, an accuator was clicking, car went limp mode as i was driving it to the shop, was a sensor for the accelerator pedal. I was treated with kindness and respect. They were up front with all costs and kept me informed every step of the way. I was driven home, the repairs were done by 5 and the cost came in under budget. Thank you gentlemen, you have earned my trust!!🙂

These fellars are great. Always friendly always willing to help in anyway they can. Whether its a loaner vehicle while theyre working on yours also giving you a ride home if its going to take a while to fix your car and theres no loaner available.

Ive used them a couple times. They are good at what they do and fairly priced, but I was a little off put this last week when the entire front end wasnt wearing masks. And then several customers came in without masks. We are still in the middle of a pandemic! I think you would want to protect your customers and make them feel safer, even if youve been vaccinated.

There always very helpful. But there always booked a few days out. They do great work and explain whats wrong with the vehicles.

I have been going to Autoselect for almost 10 years now. I have tried other places for oil changes, but going in as a single woman in my 20s autoselect was the only place that hasn’t tried to upsell and lie to me. I have gone for oil changes, general inspections and maintenance, and for urgent problems. They are always welcoming and give clear expectations and estimates.

I did go home with a very loud hum in my car that I didnt have when I came. They said it was the power steering fluid They put back in but now has bubbles. This was Wed, so far I still have the hum.

I feel very fortunate to have Auto Select in my community. Im a older, widowed woman who knows virtually nothing about cars aside from how to drive them and put gas in the tank. Im absolutely confident that Auto Select will service my car expertly and I will be charged a fair price for their services. One never has to worried about price gouging at Auto Select which unfortuantely is not true of all auto repair shops. So thank you Auto Select. The ignition stopped working on my 1999 dodge caravan and they did not waste any time to make it priority for me and repairing it. They went as far as researching how to get it done quickly, hiring a local locksmith to custom build and giving me a free, new key to work with it! On top of that they found my battery was dead and installed a new one. They charged me nothing for the installation. And, not to forget, they even sent someone to pick me up to retrieve my vehicle. Auto Select is the only place I will take my vehicle. The team is friendly and professional. They help prioritize what needs to be fixed or serviced so I can stay in my budget. They look for current discounts they’re advertising to apply to my bill, even if I wasn’t aware of the discount prior. Most times they get my vehicle in within 24 hours after I call them. Even if they don’t have appointment times available, they always work my vehicle into their schedule if it is something crucial that needs to be fixed.

I recently walked out of the hardees across the street to find a flat tire on my pickup. I called over to auto select and Sue working there sent over a guy with a air tank, he got me to their shop they called around to find a tire etc. Anyway they got out of there very quick and for a very fair price. What can one say other than outstanding, if I could give them more than 5 stars. I would.

We only take our trucks here. Always fast and professional. A little on the pricier side, but were willing to pay the little extra for the quality of work they provide. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone.

I was impressed at how nice and courteous the person was on the phone even after all my questions. I needed my starter replaced in my Hyundai and it was ready to go for me by the afternoon. I was happy to have it ready when I got out of work.

My daughters car broke down while driving. A police officer who happened to drive past at the moment called Freds towing. And Freds towing thought it would be a good time to try to rip off us by $30 and charge us more than other local tow companies, such as Johnson towing (I called around afterward). Her car was taken to auto select, and when we got there, the gentleman from Freds towing immediately started complaining about me to the manager and how I questioned his crazy pricing, and they ran off to the back without talking to me. VERY professional on both their parts, I must say....🙄 However, Tony, then, asked if we were being helped yet. Chris, the manager, said he knew nothing about it, thats when I said I talked to someone on the phone before bringing it here, Chris then said yeah, that was me, but still brushed us off. He was pretty rude, and hes a manager.So, Tony was very helpful and professional, though. He told us it would cost $1200 for the repair, which I wasnt expecting or hoping for. He said it was ok to take our time and call him when we had the money. Someone should promote him, for sure. Thats the kind of attitude you should expect from a business.So far this year, Ive spent $2000 there, and I had hoped to continue going there for future repairs, but not sure now.

I always take my vehicles here. I know that I can trust Chris, Tony, and the rest of their staff to tell me what needs to be fixed now versus what can be fixed later. They make necessary recommendations that they believe are in your best interest, while also not trying to “sell” you on more work. They told me something different. had to argue with them about my car situation and all overall. too expensive. then took my car to acme where they fixed it for lower of the price.

Auto Select Stevens Point South is where I go for all my car repairs. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have been coming here for quite awhile and choose to come back because of their great service. They always let me know what they plan to do if I know there’s an issue with my car but can’t pin point it. They’ll let you know what the costs for the repairs are before they go ahead with anything. I also appreciate that they don’t push any unwanted repairs and will let you know if they notice other issues if I choose to come back and fix them. I highly recommend this establishment!

I took our handicapped van in to get a seat fixed and hopefully an irritating sound quieted.I was greeted by Tony. He was amazing and said he would take care of both problems!!Tony called back in a couple of hours to say it was ready. I had an awful mechanical issue with my truck and did not know where to take it. I looked online based on reviews and found Auto Select. I called and within minutes felt assured my truck would be in good hands. Tony even gave me a great tow company to call as well. Within 30 minutes by truck was on the tow truck and on its way to the shop. By 5pm the next day I was back in my truck. Tony called me a few times during the day to give me updates and price. No surprises except finally getting great service without feeling taken.

They are amazing. My heat went out that evening. I filled out appointment after they closed for the next day. Called me the next morning and I was able to get in. Told me how much it would cost to figure what was wrong and they gave me a ride home. Called me to keep me up dated and how much it would cost. Picked me up and gave me a loaner car. Since the parts wouldnt be in till tuesday afternoon and it takes about 8 hours. Got a call tuesday afternoon that the car was done parts came in early. They are very professional and nice. Told me what they did and they were also able to save me about 200 bucks from the initial price. Very happy with them and will use then next time for my car.

Let me start off with some context to my review. My wife and I are new to the Stevens Point area, upon a glowing review from a coworker I went in on 10/21/17 for winter tires for my 2011 Mini Cooper. The quoted price for the tires and service was reasonable, additionally the staff was very friendly. I picked up the car after the tire install and all seemed right with the world, until I realized that my summer tires were no where to be found in the mini. I stopped back two times to try and get my missing tires, the last time was today. I was told by the manager that they only found two of the tires and they were bad. I seriously doubt it because I purchased the car 3 months earlier from a reputable dealer but regardless, I wanted my summer tires back. Show me that they are worn and not serviceable. Poor form Auto select! Now I have to purchase 4 new summer tires. If this type of activity is local protocol then fine but I will be specific in future service requests that I want my tires back. I would like to say that I would go back to Auto Select because it seems like they are a good shop but I probably will not.

Last Friday 08/03/18 with no warning my car stalled in the middle of traffic. While waiting for the tow truck I called Auto Select. They said theyd do their best to get me on the road and home. And in couple of hours at the end of the work day I was home with my car. Thank you Auto SelectThis is not the first time that they have earned a 5 star rating from me.

I broke down on the side of the interstate just outside of Stevens point, I live about 2hrs away from where I broke down. I called aaa and they referred me to auto select. Then aaa proceeds to tell me due to COVID-19 I’m not allowed to ride to the shop with the tow driver and I’ll need to find a friend or something to get to the shop. Which is kind of hard to do when you are 2hrs from home. Luckily Doug and the guys at Auto select where able to pick me up from the side of the interstate while we waited for the tow truck. When my truck got to the shop they didn’t hesitate to get it in right away to their best tech. Luckily when I called them I told them my serp belt had broke and they had one waiting at the shop for my truck. These guys did an excellent job taking care of my situation and getting us back on the road. Wish I lived closer so I could have them be my regular service center. Go see these guys if you want excellent service.
