The service given to me today by Bill and his staff was second to none in the muffler shop industry. I stopped by to have him check the noise from the muffler. They took a look underneath and explained the issue. Gave me a quote and asked if I wanted it done today. My reply was yes and within a reasonable amount of time it was done. I was VERY impressed and would recommend this business to anyone. From the price, to the service and their expertise made the experience excellent!

Top notch service. They repaired and replaced wiring in my door to get my power windows operational. I had to schedule the day for repairs, and they were done that day before 3. Also tested the complete electrical system.

What can you say about a mechanic that does a good job and doesnt try to rip you off? These guys are the best. Everyone is always friendly and helpful, I take all my vehicles here for service. Today I asked them to inspect my car after a minor fender bender. Lesser shops would see dollar signs and start fleecing my insurance. They gave me a green light and didnt even charge me to check it out.

They are always very friendly and accommodating when I need service. Prices are reasonable. Overall I have been VERY pleased with them and will continue to use their services.

I recently had to get my front right sway bar repaired. The day that I took it in to get repaired was one of the fastest, most pleasant experiences I have had working with an auto repair center. The exhaust on my vehicle had broken off. I called them at 9 on a Monday morning they told me to bring it in so that they could look at it. They were able to repair the exhaust that day. They did this quickly and free of charge, taking pictures for the police report. They explained all my options, worked very well with me and my insurance company. Would not recommend. Picked up my captiva today to find an oil change and tire rotation cost me $98. So I checked my last service document for them and see they charged me $130 on the oil change before that. $68.95 for a tire rotation? A tire rotation takes minutes when done by an ASE certified tech. I am livid and will not return. This business is no following set prices and overcharging people/taking advantage of people to make an extra buck. I’m unimpressed and will let everyone I know hear of my bad review.

I’m buying a new exhaust system that went from a pre-existing resonator back and the new system already comes with a resonator so o asked if they could remove it and fix some flanges and the did it within a very reasonable timeframe even with being busy. They were very courteous about it and the price was very reasonable

Probably the best auto service Ive received, and for the best price Ive ever seen. My other auto shop charged me roughly double what Checks did to replace a wheel bearing. Everyone seemed super knowledgeable and incredibly nice. I will gladly return here for future repairs, without any hesitation at all.

Its a shame new owner treats people this way. Labor more than doubled from 3 1/2 years ago. Didnt even bother to deburr tailpipe ends. Will NOT return. Over-exaggerates issues, was told twice that my truck is very rusty underneath and that frame supports were rotting. Even told my wife the same thing when she stopped to pay for it. I examined and only found the one thin metal cross brace rusting away that I have been meaning to change but havent gotten around to it yet. Frame is fine. Talks down to people with older vehicles, tried to make it sound like my truck wasnt worth repairing, but had no issue charging $500 to replace 2 tailpipes. I guess they should be thankful for jobs and not everyone can afford 60k for a new vehicle! If they break something on your vehicle they dont even the courtesy to tell you they just leave the part sitting on floor. Lied about repairs needed, Given estimate to reseal both exhaust manifolds due to leaking which is amazing because I just replaced one of them a few months ago and I just double checked to make sure it is not leaking and imagine that, no its fine. So one side is leaking. Apparently drained both my batteries while being repaired as vehicle was stone-dead when I picked it up and didnt bother charging them. This truck sits for weeks at a time and starts every time. Just plain bad business, gives mechanics/technicians a bad name!

I’m visiting from out of town, and my muffler pipe broke on the drive to town. Suddenly my car sounds like a tank. It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and the staff at the shop we’re busy and getting ready for the holiday. I didn’t have an appointment, I just came to the shop hoping that I could get something done for the car. Chris was working the desk, and immediately helped me. He and the other staff were very understanding, gave me a quote, and nearly immediately got my car up on the lift to make the repair. The job came in under the estimate, And I couldn’t of been happier with the work and the service. While I was waiting, I observed the staff waiting on several of the customers as well as a delivery man. They are incredibly kind to everybody, and took time to chat a bit. In summary, the shop helped me out on a busy day just before a holiday, and they treated me like a friend. They gave me a great price, and they did the work right there while I waited rather than make me wait over the holiday. Overall very satisfied. Friendly people. I was super bummed today that I surprise needed my exhaust fixed and, having financial difficulties, need my parents help. Those working were sympathetic and kinda helped put me at ease. Super appreciated since my day was not off to a great start. I was able to get in quickly and even happier to find out my muffler was under lifetime warranty so I only paid for labor. A more pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend.

I would recommend Checks more highly than any place I’ve come across in many years. They are good at what they do, but more importantly they are completely honest. I trust them. They are also really nice people, which doesn’t hurt.

My truck was leaking gas from a fuel line so I knew the job was not going to be easy. I parked my truck in their lot and the next day they were able to look at it. I received a call first thing in the morning. They said they need to replace fuel lines and pump so a big job and probably wouldn’t be done until tomorrow. Of course being without a vehicle is a burden so I was a little disappointed but expected it would be a time consuming fix considering the rust. Then later at 4pm I received a call indicting the truck was done. They managed to finish the project and the cost was at the low end of their estimate. The truck is running great. Very nice people and quick turn around I thought. Thank You again Checks

I highly recommend Check’s Muffler Center...I called them for a broken exhaust pipe... Check’s Muffler fixed the exhaust, changed the oil and fixed a squeak in the brakes, that I forgot to mention, all in the same day that I called. They are reliable, honest, friendly, and fast! I am always impressed with the good, honest work they do. I took my car in this time for work on the exhaust and brakes and they gave me a call to tell me the price before going ahead and fixing it. Then they asked if I really wanted to do the work when the car had so many miles on it already. I didnt pay for the diagnosis and I didnt feel pressured to go through with the repairs. Also, they have fixed my flat tires without an appointment twice in the past. They are hard workers and I trust them.

Well luckily I know someone who works here, and kindly asked if he can work on my car! Just because I don’t really like dealerships working on it! Jeremy did an oil change on my car, filled up the wiper fluid(was super low) and also told me I had an oil leak; to take it into the dealership since it’s under warranty! I highly recommend!
