Want to compliment the driver who had the Liberty Hill neighborhood, Boalsburg, PA route today,Wednesday April 14, 2021. I was struggling to get a trash bag down to the curb, he said Here let me help you and he took the bag (with no problem) . I thanked him for his help and his courtesy. I told him I appreciated his customer service. I was so surprised that I neglected to ask him for his name. I hope you will check todays driver schedule and find the young gentleman who demonstrated kindness and great company service. Employees like him should be recognized by the company!!!

They forgot to pickup. The customer service never work.

They are so committed to trash that their automated phone systems are also trash.

They picked up the first three houses on our street and no one else.

Worse customer service. Lie after lie stating the crew was still on the route. As of 7pm on 8-14-20 crew never showed to pick up weekly garbage. It took 15 minutes before someone came to the phone. I am a customer since 2006. Get someone else to get your garbage this company does not care about good customer service

Terrible Service. They drive too fast. Leave stuff behind that they are contracted to take. Throw (literally throw) your trash cans & recycle bins wherever, often blocking your driveway. They make no attempt to put the lids back on trash cans, so they are constantly blowing away. I would cancel service if Patton Twp would let me. Instead they have a government mandated monopoly which means that they dont have to care about customer service.

Crony capitalism at its finest here folks. They won the 5 year exclusive contract for refuse hauler with Centre Region Council of Governments again despite their history of poor performance. They promptly raised their fees and instated new policies on what they will take and how it must be presented at the curb. They all too often leave items behind if they even come at all. When they do take everything, they leave the lid open on the trash can to fill up with rain and snow. Just recently they upgraded our service to walkup without any authorization. Now I am fighting to get a credit which I will probably never see. There is not a single good thing to say about this criminal company.

Trying to call this place to correct a billing error (theirs). Been on hold for 30 minutes and 55 seconds and not a sole has picked up. Its 3:45 on a Thursday as I write this. Is nobody in your office. Unacceptable!

Ive had to call their customer service a couple times for various reasons and Ive always been impressed with how helpful and kind the representatives are over the phone.

My family and I have been with Advanced Disposal for many years. We are very pleased with the service. We are kept well informed of any schedule changes due to holidays. When we moved into our new house customer service was very friendly and made the switch pain free. Weve also rented a couple of dumpsters. They were always on time with delivery and pick up. Thank you for a job well done and keep up the good work.

TLDR: Find another company to take your trash---missed picking up mine for two months. They keep missing my house when picking up the trash. This has happened repeatedly, and I have contacted them repeatedly. Still not resolved. I do not recommend at all! They have missed my trash at least six times now. Worst refuse service in my life!

The complete and utter lack of response is astounding! They have repetitively increased our bill and REFUSE to give us any actual direct answer as to why. They ignore emails and phone messages and the sooner we can get rid of this service the better!!

This company is a joke. They take your money but not your garbage. We will be switching disposal companies ASAP.

I have been very pleased with the service I have received from Advanced Disposal. Last year, my mother passed away and when we were going through things, generated a lot of trash. The customer service was great when I called to say extra trash would be at the location for a few weeks. I was told just to put it out there and not to worry about it. All was taken and made a tough time a little easier.

Having a very frustrating experience with billing. Customer Care is making no effort to resolve. A credit is due me because of an ACH error on their part. Each time I call I get a different person, they refuse to let me talk with a supervisor. I have sent documentation to prove the double payment and credit that is due and they are not resolving. Just threatening me with more charges and that they will stop trash service. If I was permitted to use another service I would.

Horrible service. I live on a slight hill. I plow the road in winter. They have picked my garbage up once in just over ten weeks, even when the road is clear. Also, they didn’t even take the recycling when they did come. We have tried to work with them with no progress. I wish I could get paid to do nothing. Come on man!

Advanced Disposal provides efficient and dependable service at an extremely reasonable fee. The drivers are always pleasant and professional. I love the new CNG trucks - quiet and clean through the neighborhood. I appreciated the above and beyond service through last years cold and snowy winter. Thanks for a great job!

Absolutely terrible service I was to have my garbage picked up last Friday it was never picked up. Had to wait until Monday to call since they are closed on the weekend. Was told they would come get it in 24-48 hours. Never came and got it. Here we are Friday again and they never came again this morning. When I called they said “they are still on the route” yeah I doubt they’re coming today either because it would have been picked up already. Pathetic!!

My service has been great!! I forgot to put my cans out along road but they came to the side of my house and took garbage. Very appreciative of that. Good employees.

I have used Advanced Disposal for many years and have been very happy with their service. For a time I was a call-in customer and had only one or two bags picked up once or twice a month. I have changed to be a weekly customer and no longer need to call in. Im usually not home when the trash is picked up, but I have had occasion to talk with the drivers. They provide courteous service and I am very happy.

Pleased with all the service we receive. The pick up men are very friendly and the grandchildren look forward to them waving to them. They do a great job. The website is great, too. Weve been very happy.

Havent always had bad experiences with them but more bad than good. This last one I was on hold for 30 minutes before I just hung up.

I just want to say thank you to advanced disposal for a job very well done. This service is as much of a necessity to our everyday lives as running water. It is often a very thankless job that most people take for granted. The service provided is always prompt and on schedule. If there is any changes in scheduling, they always keep us well informed. Customer service is helpful and pleasant. All in all, the company deserves much praise and many thank yous.

Only once was I dissatisfied with Advance Disposal pick-up. I had more than four cars (some rather small) filled with weed clippings and was told I could have only four. Rather a surprise since I usually only half fill one can each week! Other than that, the men who do the rounds are cheerful and helpful. Thanks.

We have always had great service from AD. There were some mornings they came very early and we hadnt yet put out the garbage. We heard the truck, ran out and turned on the front light and they continued to back up to the garage and helped us get it out. We have had extra garbage and called to let them know and they were very nice about it. The guys are great who collect.

Beware of their 5 year automatically renewing for 5 year dumpster contracts. Hss a limited cancellation period at the end of the term or a 6 month cancellation fee. They didnt even tell me it over the phone. Its a good thing I read this one. Carson Disposal was 75% of the cost and doesnt even require a contract.

The pepole who are the ones picking up the trash are 5 stars. The company management and policies are a 1 star. I had trouble with them not picking up my garbage after payment not taking bulk items and not allowing garbage men to do an extra pick up after it was the companies fault it was missed. You can not reach local customer service only reps are 400 miles away. I wish our city did not contract with them.

We had a freezer malfunction on the weekend So I called the garbage company yesterday to see if they could pick up our garbage before Friday. I was instantly put on hold and heard this very nice commentary about their concern for the for the environment, keeping the community clean and their commitment to customer service. It was very impressive and I thought wow! But when I talked to a real person, I was told that there were never any exceptions and there was no way that they could pick it up before Friday. I even quoted the customer service statement to her, but got the same answer. So much for customer care!

Weve been with Advanced Disposal since moving here over 8 years ago (it was Veolia when we started). AD has always been prompt with their pickups & courteous when Ive called in for any reason. Advanced Disposal keeps their customers well-informed of pick up schedules (bulk waste, Christmas trees, lawn & garden refuse, etc.) including various changes due to holidays. The rates are reasonable & its a pleasure to do business with a them.

Advanced disposal doesn’t pick your trash up. They do take your money however. they are criminals.

I wish I could rate zero stars! Worst trash company I have ever used. Continually wouldnt take our trash, leave trash lay on the ground, and Ive watched them throw the trash cans against my car in the mornings. Ive addressed the issues many times with no response or just excuses

We have used Advanced Disposal for nearly 10 years (well, it was Veolia when we first moved here), and weve never been disappointed. I love that they send a calendar at the beginning of the year to let you know when pick-up days will be delayed for holidays or other reasons. I keep this by our family calendar and never miss an off day for our pick-up. And we had one day not that long ago when my husband was heading down the road to work, saw the Advanced Disposal truck and realized he forgot to put the trash out. He quickly turned around, got home before the truck got there, and was able to throw the bags of trash in the truck himself as it pulled up. He really got a kick out of that!

Randomly changed my account number / broke my autopay, then made it a huge hassle to set back up... Glad they got bought out by Waste Management, though we have yet to see if the service is any less...trash

Worst customer service ever. Just spend 40 minutes on hold to have a simple question answered. The person I eventually spoke with couldnt tell me what day my trash was picked up. During the call I was disconnected while waiting for this simple inquiry to be figured out and now I have to start all over again.

Terrible experience with this company from start to finish. Unfortunately my village signed a contract with them and it is mandatory in my village to have trash and recycling. I would give them zero stars if possible.

Consistent pickup, but come on guys. How hard is it to put my trashcan upright? I just watched through the window as the employee emptied my trash then just tossed the trashcan. This is every week. Or sometimes it will be upright but in the dead middle of my driveway, which has to be intentional. Ridiculous service, but not like I have a choice.

They dump a big dumpster right in front of our house and watch as trash flys out and into our yard. The guy gets out checks his truck for trash and doesnt bother to pick it up out of our yard! My husband and I have both called and nothing gets done. The number on the back of the truck today was 232564! We have had beyond enough of this! They should be charged for littering!

Recycling is a joke. They make it difficult on purpose.

We have had nothing but great experiences with Advanced Disposal. They have always been on time, they dont throw the garbage cans around, and they go the extra mile. We have a bear who frequents our neighborhood and last week he went through our trash. It was all over the road, and before we could get out to clean it up, the garbage truck came. The guys just shoveled up the scattered garbage and moved on. So efficient!! Thank you!!

They are horrible! We come home consistently to trash all over our yard, garbage cans thrown everywhere, and most recently they didnt even take all the trash. Horrible customer service when you call to make a complaint. Got so fed up repeating everything multiple times.

Office is wonderful to work with...haulers usually friendly.

So - if I place four small pieces of cardboard in my recycle bin, the entire bin does not get emptied. Apparently I have to tie-up the cardboard in order for it to be taken (and the rest of the recycles). Worse yet, I have to guess as to why my recycles were not taken - upon seeing that all that of my neighbors has been.Who know recycling could be made so difficult?In the future - I will just stuff the cardboard in a bag and throw it out with the trash.

Terrible trash company. Have complained about my trash cans being thrown n busted up and it still happens. About to change my company, especially since they wouldnt even offer to pay for the trash cans I have replaced due to them ruining them. Complete ignorance.
