Editing the below review over a year later: it was discovered that a mistake was made with the roof patching that the company did with their chimney repair. I reached out to them for help as I contracted a roofing company to fix it up. They are very honest and they have great integrity and can admit to mistakes and help make them right. Still very impressed with the professionalism and high standards this company holds itself to.Very professional, super flexible and willing to help in unique situations! The communication was top notch and they also were honest about making a repair/construction mistake and fixing it without additional charge.Fair prices, definitely give them a call!

Bought a home last year with a woodstove. Wanted to have the chimney swept before winter, So I gave Top Hat a call. Seemed to have the best reviews in the area (Tyrone).Paul and Dan came out to inspect chimney and they noticed that the flue tiles had cracks in them. At some point there was a chimney fire. They suggested having a stainless steel liner installed.They installed liner last week. Paul and Dan were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Arrived on time, were very clean and answered all questions I had. The did a quality job and stove is functioning great! It was 0 degrees with windchill last night and my house was 78 degrees.Will be using Top hat for my yearly cleaning/inspection.Thanks again.

The staff were very professional, courteous, and always asked if I had any questions. The 2-man crew had to stop 3 times due the unbelievable raining weather. Every time polite and courteous. Also, they put on the plastic shoe covers which I was happy that I didn’t have to suggest. It was part of their routine. We had repairs done part of their inspection during our purchase of our house. The repairs were to an oil flue and a wood burning fireplace flue and tile replacement. I can’t wait to use our wood burning fireplace this winter. Top notch from start to finish. Great communication with an e-mail reminder prior to my appointment. The 2 guys who cleaned my dryer and furnace flue were friendly and knowledgeable. They pointed out some issues with our furnace to ask about next time its serviced by our furnace company and even gave me a new dryer cap because ours had fallen off. We will definitely use them again.

Paul from Top Hat worked on our dyer vent and did an excellent job. He ended up replacing the old vinyl pipe with a metal duct, and the job he did was top notch. Paul was also very knowledgeable and explained in detail what exactly he was doing. Using Top Hat to do your dryer vent, in my opinion, would be a no-brainer as I doubt you could ever go wrong with them. The price I was charged appr.$300 also seemed reasonably priced for putting in a new vent, the parts, and labor.

A few days after the gutters were cleaned one of the gutters over flowed after a hard rain. They came out immediately, removed an offending tree limb, and cleared the gutter. They have always been professional, prompt, and helpful.
