We signed up for a $69 consultation and somehow got charged more than THREE TIMES that amount. There goes part of our monthly savings budget. Absurd. The only bright spot was the employee who actually helped us with the tax return. SHE was a gem and extremely helpful. Shes the only reason Im giving this two stars instead of one.

Cindy was great and helped alleviate concerns. This probably would have been our last year with you, but Cindy changed our minds. As long as shes there, we will be there.

I went in to have my taxes done and my agent (Anna) had no idea what she was doing. every time I presented her with information she went to the back for several minutes to talk to somebody who was more experienced then came back asked another question and would go back to talk to the supervisor again. I was in there for a half an hour and didnt get past my name.

This business can help you with very simple things but if it is something slightly out of the ordinary they do not know how to handle it, they will get you in trouble and they will not know what they did or how to solve it you will have to turn to others and pay the consequences in the first person they will wash their hands and they will waste more time and will not solve anything- they say they have 60 years of experience but they seem like beginners

Diana Harmon was great to work with! She was fun, made doing our taxes actually enjoyable with her fun personable attitude and laughter. She made doing taxes actually a fun thing. Not many tax consultants have that ability.

There was absolutely no discussion of the price going in. My first appointment I had to correct him SEVERAL times - he didnt ask any questions or explain a SINGLE thing to me, was just seemingly clicking randomly. Thank goodness I was watching his screen like a hawk. I ended up having to go back because I needed additional paperwork, which is fine, but when he finally backhanded with me the price, it was WAY too high. Finally, he had absolutely no respect, consistently calling me he and gentleman and sir. I am never setting foot in an H&R block office again if these are the kinds of people they employ.

I honestly didnt even think they deserve one star! We had the worst experience with h&r block you normally go threw Jackson Hewitt and went out on a limb this year big mistake! Our tax filer didnt explain anything to my husband and I! I talked to the manager and she said she would work with the said person we are justso un happy with h&r block !!

Do not use these people. We filed our taxes specifically for the stimulus check and they dod not file an injured spouse. My wifes and daughters stimulus check were taken and we are suffering financially due to loss of work and other things the stimulus check was supposed to help with. Heather said she saved us 500 dollars from owning the state but if we would have filed separately they would have not taken my wifes or daughters stimulus check. They rushed the entire process and then afterwards said we could lose money. We borrowed money from.family to do this. We will never go through H and R Block again. Crooks! Uninformative! They just want your money.

I will never use this HR Block again. Initially, everything was fine but the guy who prepared our taxes first, forgot to charge us and we had to take time to go back in and do that, which wasn’t a big deal but was annoying, but then we realized he didn’t put the correct way we wanted to pay the IRS so we had a huge ordeal with that, and now, we noticed he typed our address incorrectly and when I called to ask how to change it the woman on the phone decided to have an attitude with me and was extremely unhelpful.

Brandy is amazing, she has taken care of me for the last 3-4 years and I’ll never go anywhere else. There was a computer error that made the system want to charge me for additional services I didn’t require. Brandy worked tirelessly to resolve the situation and contacted the right people who could help remotely. She was professional, as always, and makes tax season something for me to look forward to, rather than dread.

The price wasnt quoted in the beginning and while I was asking about the price he just kept explaining about the taxes. After it was done he didnt really explain the price breakdown so I basically figured it out on my own. Thats my only concern since everything else was great!

The tax advisor Heather Huff was so helpful

Had them do 2017 taxes and review 2016. They never called back. When I called them, they claim to have called twice on two different days and mailed our 2016 forms on May 5. Neither my phone nor my wifes phone shows those calls. Neither of us received a voice mail message. We have yet to receive our tax forms. Their system does not indicate what numbers were called nor to what address mail was sent. Now I wonder to whom our SSNs were sent. Very sloppy. Cant wait to hear what the district manager has to say....if she calls.

Heather Huff is an extremely good tax preparer

Tax prep employee didnt listen to my questions or address my concerns regarding one of my employment incomes. Just typed in my info as fast as she could and acted annoyed whenever I asked her for clarification about how she was entering stuff. She told me that my wife and would be getting back about $900 and the H&R Block fee was about $300, so we would get back roughly $600. I thought $300 was outrageous for 15 minutes of typing, plus, my wife and I just had a kid and are poor students so I decided to hold of on filing and ask around. Everyone I talked to said we should definitely be getting a bigger refund than that. My finance savvy neighbor suggested I try TurboTax to see if my refund result was similar. I had her check my numbers when I was done, and yeah, now I am getting $2800 back and TurboTax cost me just under $50. I wont be going back here. They almost lost me over 2 grand!
