Are you serious? This place needs a complete make over including getting rid of every worker here! This is a total disgrace to postal workers everywhere! Get rid of the garbage!!! Richard the post Master seems like a good person but to allow those under him to get away with their complete rudeness is unbelievable. If I didnt see it myself I wouldnt believe it!
Just watched our mail lady skip us because theres a vehicle parked in front of our mailbox... AGAIN. Fine, but then go DELIVER to the next house even though they have one parked in front of theirS. She got us mixed up with SOMEONE ELSE in the neighborhood she had an issue with. She refuses to admit that she was wrong... So heres to you who cant grow up.Now 8 families (two sets of 4 mail boxes) are affected because shes being onrey about the whole situation. Its a road packed with twin homes theres barely any parking to start with! But to complain that people park in literally the ONLY available street parking is ludicrous and supremely childish.Same lady. Same issue. Also just watched her go to like six different mailboxes that were blocked but wouldnt do ours are you kidding me!?!? How old are you? And also getting out occasionally is part of your JOB! Get OVER IT! 8 houses without mail because you want to be a pain. Well now youve done it. We arent going to drop this. Your being childish and it affects multiple families. So we will see this through. Im sorry that its fine to this. Weve tried to work with you and explain that were arent the people your mad at. (We didnt block the mailbox fyi, but we suffer because of yet more people). So we are going to push to at the very least have you transferred off our route permanently.1426n 250e
Weve been having professional landscapers working on our yard since the middle of June. On 06/24 we didnt receive our mail because the mailbox was blocked TEMPORARILY by their equipment. Unsure why the mailman cant just get out and walk the mail to the mailbox but I guess I just dont understand pure laziness. We received that mail on 06/25 that stated the mailbox was blocked 06/24. We just received a letter from the code enforcement officer dated 06/28 about how our yard isnt up to city code that also stated construction materials. Now Im not saying that it was the mailman who reported the code violation, but what a coincidence that the mailbox was blocked on 06/24, the mail was delivered 06/25, and the letter was typed up on 06/28. All of our neighbors knew we were getting our yard finished and had no issues with it. The equipment was not blocking anybodys property, and was not causing any issues with the neighbors. This is NOT the first time Ive had an issue with this post office and the laziness of their employees. Oh and not to mention, we have video proof of the mailman getting out of their vehicle, WALKING ON MY FRESH LAID SOD, to deliver the mail to the other houses while the landscapers where there. Clearly this sod is fresh. Why would you walk on it and ruin it?
Diploma was delivered today. Clearly printed on the envelope, in bold letters, DO NOT BEND. Really cool that the delivery person decided to ignore that and bend it so it fit in the mailbox. I personally love my diplomas with a big ol crease in them.
Zero starts if i could! The mailman on 100s in Springville is so inconvenienced when he has to get out of his car. We live in a small cul de sac and there is no where else to park. Our car is the only one that receives notices even though other cars are parked closer. He willing delivers and gets out to give them mail. First it was 8 feet now it is 15 feet i would have to park on the next block to give him space to deliver my mail. I tried having a nice conversation multiple times without fail.
My son is obsessed with all things mail! Our mailman, Jaime, is the best ever! He always waves hi and makes him feel special. We love USPS!
Seriously the worst post office I’ve EVER dealt with. They had a package for me, put it on the wrong route, got it back, scanned it into the wrong bin so it was held for pickup, and released the package to someone who wasn’t me. So they released my mail to someone without asking for ID on the person. They can’t remember who it was so they said they can’t find out. After calling and hearing all of this, they said there is nothing they can do and to contact the sender. So now I’m out on my money for the item and my time dealing with the most incompetent post office I’ve ever seen.
Countless times has delivered my mail to my neighbors and vice versa. This last time it was the final straw. $50 delivered package not delivered, the lucky neighbor who received in didnt want to do the right thing. How hard is it to be accurate at your job, and why is there no recourse when you are losing peoples money through YOUR fault?! From now on, will ship everything to a family members address where the USPS workers actually do their job correctly.Also, twice now have been left a notice that they couldnt deliver a small package, that they attempted to contact me at my door, and that I had to go pick it up in person. Both instances I was home all day during delivery attempt - the carrier was just too lazy to actually come knock. So instead I had to go wait in the glacial line at the office to get my stuff. Laziest, rudest postal working staff on the planet here in Springville.
I needed to send a package international. Whitney was very helpful and a delight to work with. She explained everything, told me what to fill out, let me come back in line. I had a great experience.(I don’t know what other people are complaining about… I didn’t see any of the bad behaviors mentioned in other posts.)
I mail my etsy sales through USPS. Since most are first class I drive to the springville post office to drop off my packages on their desk pickup area. Multiple times Ive had the tracking say label created, waiting for pickup for weeks. Somtimes nothing gets scanned into tracking until its across the country. It makes my customers think I never sent it. Currently I have another package with no scan over 2 weeks ago. Ill have to make another and pay for shipping again.. all while my customer waits and waits. No accountability from usps. Im taking to Spanish fork from now on. Springville cant be trusted to me anymore. Ugh.
I would like to know why the mailmain does not pick up mail to go out she just stuffs it back in the mailbox . Just curious its reall irritating
Every time I go here I feel like their employees are just miserable or think they are better than everyone else.They help you with what you need, yes, but they do it attitude. Work on your customer service and treat people with kindness and respect!
No drive through mail drop off box which is a bummer
Delivery is a joke!! I was told my package couldn’t be delivered because my front door was not accessible... my door is completely accessible. The next day I sat on hold for an hour to be told it would be delivered later that day. When it wasn’t, I called in again and was told it would be delivered that same day. AGAIN it wasn’t delivered. I called in a 3rd time to be told they never even loaded it to be delivered. Now I have to go pick it up myself.
I made a mistake in shipping a package and they were SOOO helpful helping me track the package down and get the issue figured out so I could fix my mistake! Thank you for being so willing to go the extra mile!

We are a business located in Mapleton, Utah our mail is delivered through Springville, Utah post office, our mail that we just received today 06/29/2020 including payment checks from companies owing us money were postmark stamped 4/20/2020!!! They checks were sent from Springville, Utah to Mapleton Utah....69 days to go 5 miles !!!??? COME ON USPS, you should be fired
This place gets 5 a star rating because of 1 associate! Jaclyn!!! Every time I go to the post office she has an amazing attitude. If you dont believe me, go in there and see how she treats each person in there. She treats them how she would want to be treated. The post office is known for having grumpy workers, Jaclyn defies that and it takes you by surprise! Heck yes! Thank you Jaclyn for who you are! You make the world a better place just by being you!
Another package FALSELY marked as delivered by the terrible Springville Post Office. Have a lockbox, the parcel box was not full. How many years will this post office lie before the city does something about it? On top of the fake deliveries (usually on Fridays, apparently the Friday route carrier doesnt want to do their job) many packages are falsely marked as undeliverable, return to sender. They refuse to deliver larger parcels to the door and will not leave it at the post office to pick up. Unbelievable that they lie time and time again and have packages returned to sender because they cant be bothered to run their route.
Just Spent $20 to Ship a tiny 4x4x4 Box That only weighed 2lbs. The large flat rate box only cost $18 why did my tiny box that hardly weighed anything cost more than their biggest flat rate box. I should have unwrapped my box and put it in their small flat rate box. (I was running late for work) For the cherry on top, the lady who was helping me clearly hated her job. I get that she works for one of the scummiest places ever but come one lady if you hate your job that much just go somewhere else. There is a reason this place only has 2 stars
Package has failed to deliver twice and Im expecting it to fail again. They are saying my door, mailbox, or drive way arent accessible which doesnt make sense. My guess is the item isnt even on the truck and bad employees are covering it up. Im glad that there is no way to hold anybody accountable as you cannot actually call to speak to a human being.
Worst post office. Staffed by individuals who are just doing the least possible to get their hourly wage and who clearly couldnt care less about customer service (slow lines, not friendly, seem bothered). The drivers who deliver mail from this facility have the exact same attitude. UPS and FedEx drivers never have any problems delivering packages to my house. But at least once a month I get an undeliverable message for one of my packages from the USPS - seemingly from a mail carrier who couldnt be bothered to get out of the vehicle and deliver a package to my door. Its places like this that give government employees such a bad reputation.
We have a lock box and our packages keep showing that they are delivered but they are not. We went to check last night and we had a key in our mailbox. We open the bigger one and there is nothing in it!! We have lived here for 2 months and this has happened several times. I called today to see what was going on and the guy was very rude and called me a liar!!!
You would think going online, entering the correct address, and paying a boat load extra shipping costs would ensure your package would arrive on time, right? Wrong. Enter careless USPS carrier: who delivers your much needed mail into what ever mailbox (or trash?) they feel like, and presses delivered on their little device. Losing your package to the void. Are there any consequences for this? Not for the carrier. Is anything done about it by the post office? Not a thing. If you want something important delivered on time AND to the correct location DO NOT choose USPS. This happens so often in my neighborhood, it is a disgrace.
I was supposed to receive certified mail today. Ive been waiting by the door all day, expecting it. I went to the mailbox tonight and found that the mailman simply put a note in the box stating that he had tried to deliver it. NO ONE CAME. Now I have to go out of my way, a day late, to go pick up this mail, all because the mailman wouldnt do his job and drive around the corner and down a few houses.
Same experience as a previous poster. Tracking said the electronic equipment we ordered was out for delivery. Not wanting to leave expensive items outside, we cancelled family plans to make sure we were home. No delivery. Called the next day and was told it would be delivered that day. So why post tracking information saying it was out for delivery the previous day? Very annoying. Other than that....friendly staff.
We have had only excellent experiences with the employees at the Springville Post Office. Our mail carriers have always been friendly and gone the extra mile when delivering packages to our home. They always have a smile or a waive for us even when they need to park their trucks down the street because of construction. We frequently need to use the post office itself to mail packages and letters to Europe. The men and women working the counter have always been very friendly and helpful. Even when they’re sometimes understaffed for the crowd, they have smiles as they work through the line. I think that many of the negative reviews sound like they were written in anger after a mistake had been made. I would encourage those reviewers to think about how infrequent the errors occur compared with how often their problems are handled flawlessly. Patience.
While we have had some mixups from training, or just confusion at addresses, they have always been kind and helped out as best as they can. Mail is electronically sorted and it gets mixed up, it happens. Have really enjoyed getting to know the people who run our route.
I called the Springville Post Office and asked them to hold a package that a driver had picked up from my house about an hour previously. I was so happy they were so easy to work with, only they didnt actually hold the package. I can see that it just left the Provo faciilty. Its an International package so now there is no way that I can intercept it. UGH!!!!
I work at a business in Springville, this post office cant figure out how to put things in the correct mail box. I have to ask our neighboring businesses to come and get some mail every other day. Today we got in a stack of letters for a completely different company. Try to call them and you get The estimated wait time to connect you to someone is over 1 hour. Im running out of ways to say they are terrible. Id buy a thesaurus to help come up with new synonyms for awful, but odds are it would get delivered to someone else.
Ive had mail lost. Ive spoken to three different carriers and filled out a form at the post office and online, and they still deliver mail that isnt mine. I also just talked to a carrier (who was a substitute) today because my mail hasnt been picked up for five days even with the flag up! Ive only lived in Springville for two months, but Im really disappointed in USPS here. It is not reliable in my limited but diverse experience. Just be careful--take anything important directly to the post office (or a different post office if you can) and certify it.

Its USPS. Enough said, right? Ive never had one package where usps didnt lie multiple times about its whereabouts before it magically showed up. Im sure it looks great for their numbers when the package is delivered 3 or 4 days before it actually gets to you.
Half the time I order something, it gets delivered to my mailbox by the expected/promised delivery date. The other half of the time, I get the notification that my package has been delivered, but then I check the mailbox and it isnt there. On the website, the Email Us feature is broken, and has been some time, so hopefully someone with influence sees this review. I just have one simple request for the USPS: DONT MARK PACKAGES AS DELIVERED IF THEY HAVENT ACTUALLY BEEN DELIVERED. I would much rather know that my package is late, then be misinformed about its delivery.
Our mail carrier is very unfriendly, and refuses to deliver packages to the door. We always have to go to the post office to collect packages, until I realized a little trick. If you are in this same boat, and like to order on amazon, you can specify delivery to your door and amazon shipping will by pass the postal service and use a carrier that will deliver it right to your door!
Ive had mostly great experiences with my services from Springville Post Office. I also have been able to call the direct number during business hours and get prompt service when I have had a question or concern.
Getting extremely tired of my packages being delivered to someone else. This weekend is the 4th time in the last year. the 1st 3 times people in my neighborhood have brought me a parcel addressed to me that was in their mailbox. This time, no such luck. The Item I ordered and have been waiting on says it is marked delivered 2 days ago but it wasnt delivered to MY mailbox. Nothing you can do but file a claim and wait forever just to hear they cant find it.2-13-2021 Once again, Mail delivered to the wrong house. I got the mail for my southern neighbor, All of my mail (a package and a Check ive been waiting on) was delivered to the neighbor to the north. I wouldnt be surprised if every single mail box on the street got their neighbors mail today.

No star rating if I could!! I cant tell you the amount of times important business mail just does NOT get delivered! Tracked packages that say delivery not available or schedule for re-delivery, although our business is open M-S! Never a live person when you call in, instead 1.25-2 hours on hold!! Absolutely the worst post office I have ever used. Looking forward to the day the boss man moves the company out of Springville.

Worst post office I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve lived all over the country. The delivery drivers are the most lazy people I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The driver left a note in the mail box saying the small package I ordered couldn’t be delivered and didn’t leave a reason why and also was too lazy to walk 50 feet to the door and leave the package on the door step. I’ve never had a good experience dealing with springville post office
One star only because I have to. I have been in my house a year and was still receiving the old owners mail when I first moved in. Tried to send it back and they wont take it. Currently receiving mail for about 4 or 5 individuals that dont live there. They will not take it back. Withheld my mail from my son because my dogs were in the front yard with him. Threatened to withhold entire blocks mail if my dogs are outside again (non aggressive just bark at him). The first time they have been out when he came by as we normally keep them inside. Neighborhood is full of dogs and mailman is known to love and pet other dogs that are outside. Just plain rude and bad service.
Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I was in there for probably 15 minutes putting my stuff into an envelope they saw me doing it came around the corner didn’t say hi can’t say give me a sec it nothing. Then I get up to the counter and she goes well we’re going to have to put this into a package but you still have to pay for the envelope because you wrote on it. I asked you to speak to a manager and the guy next-door says OK yeah sure I can be manager for a date that’s lying. Called their customer service line and Got an hour and a half wait so I guess I’ll just leave a really bad review because I will never be back there put your money somewhere else
The carrier didnt leave a package containing a $120 pair of sunglasses because a signature was required. I took the signature form to the post office. They couldnt find the package. They told me to sign the form and they would then deliver the package. They never delivered the package and now they are off the hook because I foolishly signed the form. This post office routinely offers terrible service as they only have one employee helping at the desk while you hear 2 or 3 laughing in the back while customers wait.
This is the worst Post Office I have ever been to simply because of the post master. I have been in multiple times and Ill see the post master yelling at employees for very small issues. All the employees that have helped me have been great and are always super helpful, but I always feel bad for them because the post master is such a jerk.

I would give Springville post office a 0 if this would be allowed. Our postman doesnt pay attention when delivering our business mail and constantly puts our mail in other peoples mail boxes. It seems to me that they just put everyones mail in whatever box is convenient and they dont care who it goes to. I constantly get other surrounding business mail to and have to deliver it to them. I called to talk to someone about a problem and was told my expected wait time would be between 1.25 hours and 2 hours. not happy
There is something illegal with the system there! Mail is not being delivered, even after several letters to the same address! The government needs to check their ability to operate on at least a standard level. The performance is reprehensible.

The staff are friendly, it’s true, but I am constantly having to call about my packages not arriving. I’ve lost count of how many packages I haven’t received. When I call in, they act like I am inconveniencing them. Now, when I call, it just rings and rings and rings with no answer. I can’t just go in anytime to talk to them. It’s so frustrating. I have half jokingly told my husband we need to move out of Springville because it is such a hassle. I’ve even told them of all my package problems and they say they will keep an eye out and it won’t happen again. I could go on and on about all of my issues with the Springville Post Office. I’ve never had these issues with other people. Extremely infuriating.

Very disappointing!! My son just came back from the post office in Springville. He went there to find answers about his 2 packages he has sent to 2 of his clients. One of his clients is in Australia and the other one in California. These packages were sent on August 4th. Today is September 6th and the packages have not arrived still to either client. My son, who is 16 went to the post office and was told to go on line. He has gone already on line and written a message to them asking them for help in this matter. The on line service answered and told him to go to the post office. And he did, only to be more disappointed. there were no clear answers nor help nor a desire to help him further in giving him answers about these packages.
I love this post office. They’re friendly and I’m very rarely there longer than 5 minutes.

Worst mail carriers ever! They continue to give other mailboxes the key where our package is, making us not get items, neighbors having to deliver them or go to the location to have them physically remove the package and bring it to us. I’ve had to go to the location 3 separate times for our packages saying they were delivered and she put the key to the box in someone else’s mailbox. Our carrier will NOT come to our house to deliver anything, instead she leaves a final notice slip in the mailbox so our mail gets returned to sender! I’m home all day and she never, I mean never attempts to come to the door.
If you are wanting to waste the rest of your life this is the place to go. There is no such thing as hurrying in and out of the Springville post office. The employees will make sure that they do as little as possible to get people taken care of. In all seriousness the DMV from Zootopia that was ran by sloths was faster than Springville USPS. If I could have given 0/5 stars I would.

If i could rate a 0 or a negative, I would. I never go to this one but the one time I decided to, It turned out to be THEE ABSOLUTE WORST DEALING EVER! Its been 10 months now aince I have sent my package. It came back for some reason, and came Back to the SPRINGVILLE US POST OFFICE. it got checked in and out and now Its some how lost!!! It NEVER MADE IT TO MY HOUSE! AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING AND CALLING AND CALLING EVER NUMBER THEY THROW AT ME! I got the insurance on the package but does that really mean anything? Not to them!!! I still have to call and talk to machines for hours on end and i still keep getting NO WHERE!! Im holding Springville USPS accountable for this. I would never EVER use this destination again. Ive done from provo and they were great! Got there a little time later then expected but makes sense for a day or two. But not 10 MONTHS.

It is very upsetting that when you have an email saying your packagenwas dropped off at 6am and that it WILL be delivered by end of day.. Well they brought my mail but not my package. So i call and Im told.. Oh it was put in the pile that is being delievered tomorrow Umm NO. I Have my email from FedEx saying it was received by the Springville usps and it will be delivered by END OF DAY SEPTEMBER 22! Not September 23!!!
