Just like on Main street, this store has a very nice selection of used books that I can spend an hour or two sifting through in bliss. I recently had walked away wit ha very decent stack of history books without hurting the wallet too much!
They have good stuff but it is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! $79.95 for a vintage light fixture, $1000.00 for a used couch?! On top of that the cashier I got was super rude and slow. She made me feel unwelcomed and seemed to be annoyed with her job. Ignored me while checking out to talk to another employee... I only gave 2 stars because like I said earlier, the stuff is actually decent.
Ridiculously overpriced furniture. People donate to you and you rip others off, will never donate furniture to your establishment.
I like this store. Staff are friendly, and have found some great deals. I do find myself buying less at ST Vincets with higher prices, but the stores always makes me laugh at their super over priced prices like on furniture lol lol lol. $300 for a chair? Ya right lol. Why would I pay more for a used item thats cheaper new? Or more for an item I can easily pay less online? Theres been many times I didnt buy anything because of this where I would have bought items, and many times I have bought items. Know your prices or google them on your phone :)
Overchaged me for books, didnt have a manager present to handle the refund. Not coming back.
Its a thrift store. It is, however, one of the best in the area.Best SVDP for tools, furniture, and an excellent (and recently expanded) book section. My sweetie and I stop here, quite regularly, on book-hunting dates.Q street never disappoints. ;-)The cashiers are cute, too.
St Vinnys is always fun to go to. It is like a treasure hunt every time you go there. My wife & I stopped in today and found these really cute puppy/toddler pictures. There are 3 of them and my favorite is a pic of a toddler dressed in blue footies climbing some stairs on hands and knees, climbing right behind him is a hound pup with a blue collar. If you have time stop in and look around for yourself, you will be supporting some great causes and just might find yourself a treasure.
St.Vincent in lane county, can do no wrong . Excellent business and the stores aee still peicung things so that liw income familys can have some nice things. Thanks, God bless.
Used to come to these thrift stores for cheap home goods and clothes. The only thing that is still affordable are the clothes but the furniture is overpriced. I’ve always believed that this company was here for the community and offered goods at a more affordable price for low income families but obviously those in charge of pricing are out of touch. It’s just disappointing.
Amazing staff great layout and always good deals.
Thrift store shopping has now become a Corporate money grab...Prices are outrageous here.
Best find: Audio Technica ATH-M50X $10
Been shopping at various locations of St. Vincent de Paul in Oregon and California for over 25 years, this location and the one on Chad st in Eugene are completely over priced. Every single furniture was at least over $150. Who would buy a used old couch for $399.99 when you can buy a new at at &100 at IKEA. and from the reviews of the other locations in the area, they are all crazily overpriced.
One of the best St. Vincents to shop at. They all have a different vibe. The folks who work there are awesome. Be sure to donate :)
Specialty racks like for Oregon Ducks and festival wear nicely arranged. Clean and spacious store. Prices good and treasures abundant!
Used to be my favorite thrift shop. But in the last couple years the prices have really gotten to be astronomical. Expect to pay full retail or even more than actual value, unless a gem happens to fall through the cracks.
Large store. Very clean for an older building. Good selection of merchandise. Friendly, helpful stall
Love this place! Priced a little high for a second hand store but they do good works in the community with some of it and I can get behind that! I have to limit myself to what I can carry or Ill leave with a truckload!
Store manager is a kick and their selection is great. Lots of furniture as well as clothes and books. Love that the books are shelved by genre and then alphabetical by author.
I love this store...in large part due to the excellant customer service of your employee named kim lady who always has a smile on her face is never rushed always goes the extra mile .....wish her customer service was contagious ...joni
St.vincents is the best bookstores in the area. Theyre super organized and theyre cheap they would have got five stars but some of the prices for furniture are astronomical
Great people, and they always compliment Sali and I..on our fairy houses
Love Vinnies! Such helpful and friendly people work here, and I appreciate how St. Vincent de Paul hells in their communities in multiple ways.
I went in there and there was a dress on the clothing rack on the (SALES FLOOR NOT THE BEING PUT OUT RACK) APPARENTLY it wasnt priced right and I was going to purchase it because it was (ON THE SALES FLOOR RACK) when a blonde manager came up took the dress raised the price therefore I didnt purxhase the OVERPRICED DRESS AND... I will NEVER EVER GO TO THAT STORE AGAIN.
Got a Spanish language learning WindowsCD & Audio Program that looks quitecomprehensive!!!
Great store but boxes of bullets for sale in the display case !?
We enjoy the store, but their prices are almost retail, that is not only disappointing but a deterrent to our spending more while there.
The people are friendly and the deals are good and they have a parking lot and clothing and functional furnishings and jewelry and cameras and more.
A little spendy for thrift shopping. They do have large houseware dept, book dept, craft and shoe departments. Convenient location near the freeway.
Used things should not be more expensive than brand new things.
Its always fun to visit Vinnys and go. Rooting around seeing What they got
A lot of neat finds, but expensive! i never understand when secondhand stores charge the same as buying new! like might as well go buy it new 😒
I ducked into this StVinnies to buy a swimsuit for my son on the quick. We found one in minutes and a T-shirt to match in minutes. Our purchases were half off and I got a senior citizen discount too. Bonus!!
This place has some of the best stuff in town. The employees are super ftiendly
The staff was very generous. I like the large selaction of books they have especially all of the cookbooks.
A lot of their prices seem to be higher then Walmart or JCPenneys or Kohls I dont understand why theyre making their stuff so expensive
Wow, love this place love visiting here with my sister n law when I am in town
The stuff here is what you would expect at a garage sale except, these are the leavins that no one wanted. You may find a gem but youll have to do a lot of looking. Furniture on the other hand is high store prices....kind of ridiculous honestly . The carpet? Yeah they use the excuse that they get theirs from Crate & Barrel or something like that so NORMALLY this rug would be $2,000 but lucky us we can get one for 300 and the other for 900!
This is by far my most favorite St. Vinnies location. The customer service is fanominal
Great selection. Highly recommend
A good place to search for bargains. Isles need to be wider though.
Way overpriced guy at the cash register yelled at my wife telling her she needed to keep the kids quiet and that they couldnt run around by themselves only thing is we dont have any kids..
Good store but parking can be a bit crowded
I have found some of my favorite things from this store!
Good variety of clothing & items, mostly in good condition. Pricing is pretty inconsistent, but good alternative to the sadly gone Value Village.
Expensive thrift store, clothes packed into racks difficult to shop, lots of clerks effectively ignoring shoppers
Nice vintage type store to buy clothes.
Gone are the days where I could afford to shop at thrift stores. Many items are priced at or above new.
Couldnt believe the prices. Expensive for a thrift store
Friendly, helpful staff and good quality clothes.
My daughter and Is favorite place to shop
Found exactly what I was looking for, and the cashier gsve me a small discount on one item because I didnt have quite enough money. Thank you!!
Hate this company with a passion, I was raised in the earlier years when a thrift shop was a option for people who didnt wanna pay full retail for items, they claim to be a thrift store but look up all there items and charge according to eBay and online prices. I for sure will never shop at this company again !
So cheap super big variety, great hrs
Great place to spend some time in.
Way overpriced for a second hand thrift store.
Over priced for what it is and how they get it
Yeah its st vinnies what do you want to talk about
Furniture is over priced, why buy used if you can get it brand new for the same price or more often than not for cheaper..
Very over priced. Not impressed.
Great selection, friendly staff, and a convenient location.
Great place to score some deals
Good clean fun thrift store
Clean, well priced and organized.
