Website doesnt let you make a report, your given an error message after completing an hour or more report.

I just called and talked to a young lady in the dept. She was very nice and professional, as was I,so it makes a difference how the employees there are approached I am most sure. I have been a registered nurse for four decades and it is sometimes difficult to be nice when the other person whether a patient or a parent as in this case. Just treat the person on the other end with some respect as you would like to be treated, more flys with sugar than vinegar they say!

Over worked with more cases then they can handle. They will blanty lie. They will destroy your family with the swipe of a pen. Many of those I have dealt with were uneducated and not well versed with the court system. I would be afraid of the misuse of power they have. Best bet move out of Illinois. The governor needs to really check out the Winnebago County Department of Children an Family Service. Lots of shady employees there. Thank you for screwing with my life.

DCFS of Cook County is misusing their power given by Government. A lot of unprofessional staff.They are not properly communicating with parents and destroying OUR family! Without their interruption OUR FAMILY would be a lot better ! They are taking custody of children without ANY proof and evidence of parents guilt.

You are all a complete joke. Do your jobs your for trying to keep families together no you destroy them. Get your jobs straight go bother the people that do abuse there kids and dont follow the laws...shame on you!!!!

They were that way 20 yrs ago. We took them to court and won. and she got fired.They need, like anything else, changes.

My child was taken into DCFS custody after he was born because the mother had an open case and previous children where taking into DCFS custody. Also that will not let my family members get him because I was just the punitive father. It took almost 4 months to get my paternity test back because the caseworker Rosemary Waelder of chaddock adoption and Foster agency lied to the courts and said I wouldnt give her information needed to send out a referral for paternity testing. This resulted in no visitation as a putative father until paternity testing was done. I was asked to complete a mental health assessment, parenting classes, and domestic violence classes with no prior domestic violence in my background. However the caseworker would not send out the referrals needed to get the services complete with visitations every other week 2 hours which results to 4 visits every month totaling 8 hours. My parental rights were stripped from me without ever having a chance to be a father in my sons life. The decision was upheld in the Appellate Courts which resulted in my son getting adopted to a family and name changed whom I know nothing of.This is how the government legally kidnaps kids and sells which is a kids for cash scheme where babies are bonus!

Disrespectful employees. Threatening to take my kids away calling names and acting straight up dumb
