So helpful and thorough!! They took all the strain off the home buying process for us as first time home buyers. They made it so easy, and helped us work through multiple speed bumps during the process. The whole team has been so fast to respond, so helpful and patient with everything. They always made themselves available whenever we were and wanted us to be 100% happy and satisfied while we went through the process. They took time and didn’t rush us through anything while we made the big decision of buying a house and finding the right fit for us.

One went under contract within 24 hours and the other within a week. They were there every step of the way to answer my questions and made me feel confident that they would get the job done. Everything started off great with this place. The girls that work with Rhett Smillie are super friendly and nice. I thought Rhett was that way too until I had issues with the home I bought. I paid Rhett for his handyman to fix a list of things that needed to be fixed. Some were never completed, some were done halfway and the guy never came back to finish the job and only a fewthings were fixed. I have called and called about the issue but I continue to get blown off. To top this off when I moved into the house the dishwasher didn’t work. It came out of the place it goes into. Come to find out it was switched out after what I had looked at when I bought the house. I now have a dishwasher that was not the one in the listing. I was speaking to the person named Andy from Cornerstone Property Inspections who inspected the house and Rhett but both have blown me off. Watch out for Rhett Smillie. He will take your money and that’s all he cares about. I feel the money I paid his handyman was stolen from me. I ended up having to fix things myself. Other things aren’t fixed right. This home buying experience with Rhett Smillie has been a bad experience. I don’t suggest using him or Cornerstone Property Inspections.I just read the sad response from Rhett Smillie. This is not a fake name as I go by my middle name. Most people that know me are aware of this. The dishwasher was exchanged AFTER the house was sold and so was two doors. The people that lived in the house admitted to switching the dishwasher out. You can tell by the demeanor of Rhett Smillie’s reply that he is a difficult person to deal with. I believe switching out appliances is illegal. I am getting ready to check into that further. It was not 45 days after the closing that I mentioned the dishwasher plus I was actually living in another dwelling and I didn’t move the day of the closing. I wanted to take my time when moving so I could clean, etc. I didn’t know a person should use all the appliances as soon as possible and immediately move into a house when one buys a home. How ridiculous! As for Cornerstone Property Inspections, that is a whole different thing but they are in with Rhett so that explains a lot. I won’t comment on that any further as this is about how inept Rhett Smillie is. Rhett Smillie is obviously a nasty hateful individual who only cares about getting your money and that is all. I have spoken to several other people about this issue and I was told I should have stayed away from this person in the beginning. Do yourself a favor and find a different realtor. This one obviously won’t finish his job and neither will his handyman. The moment you pay them you can forget anything else from them. Good luck getting any messages returned too! It’s sad such people like this exist in this business. I dont think much of what was said in Rhett Smillie’s reply was even true.Below is the door issue I am stuck with. The door won’t even completely close. I don’t know why it isn’t my under my review.
