She was representing my son and daughter inlaw who are first-time home buyers. Theyre looking for a place to raise our two grandsons 12 and 2.It seemed every time they wanted to look at houses Suzi was to busy and they would have to wait a day or two to view the homes. We know in todays market if you snooze you lose. So after looking at many houses only to find out they were to late, they finally got lucky and put a contract on a house and had it inspected. The house had catastrophic problems. So they decided to cancel the contract. Suzi said they might try to keep your earnest money if you back out. Hey, this house has a flooded crawl space and mold go get the money back. By law 3 days is aloud for return of earnest money and it took 3 weeks. The first check was canceled because she held on to it for so long.My son and daughter inlaw are African American and there budget was less than 200k. Im not saying that these played into it, but it does make you think. They now have a new realtor who after hearing everything says they were definitely misrepresented. The realtor actually sends them listings and gets them in to see it the same day. Suzi never did that.
