I have worked with Lawn Barber for years. The employees are Helpful, professional and friendly. Prices are reasonable and competitive.

We have used Lawn Barber for years. The work has always been completed efficiently and thoroughly. We have many mature trees so Fall and Spring cleanup can be daunting with the leaves and the sticks. I never cease to be amazed when I come home and the yard is spotless.

I called the Lawn Barber on Monday to get my bushes trimmed and some fresh mulch in my flower beds, i had an estimate by Tuesday afternoon and the job was done on Thursday. My house looks perfect just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

We love Springfield Lawn Barber! Our back yard is heavily shaded and has never had much grass; it has been mostly weeds and dust. The front yard was only slightly better. I have been a customer with this company for about 15 years and have never had any problems nor issues with their work. I especially love that since I started having them spray around the house for bugs these past years it has really kept out the spiders and such ( I have a few very large, very old trees that seems to attract spiders) from the house. I am home mostly when they come, which has been Tuesday mornings since I started with them, and they really take good care of the yard. I have a weirdly set up house that I have grass by the road, then retaining wall and then the back yard, no problem they get it all and I love that my alley area is always the neatest and tidiest!! We called Lawn Barber to save our lawn from a vast amount of dandelions and other weeds. We also had seed put down as we were in need of that also. The lawn was aerated too.We felt the price was reasonable for the amount of services they were to provide. They started our treatments right away. No more weeds or dandelions. Our lawn looks great now. The new grass has really filled in and looks healthy and the fertilizing has worked great too.We do recommend this company and plan to continue using their services.

Dont mess with Ron Richardson! (the owner). Years of loyal service as one-time paying customer - thousands of dollars over years. One payment was lost in mail and instead of contacting me, they just quit mowing. I called Ron and he talked so terrible to me that I hung up and was extremely upset. Loyalty means nothing to Ron. He has terrible, unprofessional temper.

Ron and his company deal in straight talk. If you are honest and respectful, you will be treated the same. I would recommend this company to anyone. I think they do a great job and they are pros.

Timely, reliable and professional weekly mowing. No weeds in my yard. Snow removed promptly. Nicely trimmed trees and shrubs. They do it all.

Ive never had any issues with my lawn, and Ive always appreciated the fact that they pick up sticks, rocks, or anything else my children leave in the lawn. I dont appreciate the random charges and unprofessional phone calls from a man that works there. I have everything deducted automatically so I dont always notice every little thing. The man that answered the phone there was extremely unprofessional and borderline rude. It seems the guys that actually do the work are good but the owner is pushy and has a short fuse.

I had a billing error, and after leaving for the city for two weeks, the owner absolutely freaked out on me. He threatened, insulted, and cursed at me...over a $50 mistake. The job they did on my tenants lawn was fine but they should seriously work on their professionalism and billing paranoia. It is true I didnt return their initial call, that was my mistake, but calling me fraudulent and threatening to call the AG over a billing is laughable. The man I spoke to would absolutely not accept the fact that I made a mistake and insisted I was f**king him over.Edit- I reviewed the recorded conversation, since he called me on my business line, I had with the gentleman from Lawn Barber. Im standing by my review based upon his overreaction and threatening behavior, Do you really want to do this when I know where you live? ( His actual words). I take responsibility for the billing error on my end, but I do not trust them with my debit card, or cash. They can expect a registered letter with a cashiers check as advised by my lawyer.

I have been a customer of Lawn Barber for over 2 years. I keep having the same issues. The primary issue is a big brown spot in the middle of the front yard. When I called to discuss the issue, I was told among other things that it was not their issue, no competitor could give me the service I wanted, and that I was whining. The owner was yelling at me on the phone. I would never recommend this company under any condition.

Do not use. I have a small lawn, one that takes me 30 minutes to mow with a non-self propelled push mower. I was quoted $40 dollars upon the initial call, I was in a time crunch and felt the convenience would be worth the price. The service was performed later that day and the following Monday I was charged $86, and with speaking with an operator-- it is a $40 minimum, plus $40/man/man hour. The reason given was due to the need to pick up sticks. The sticks in question were ones placed out front on a dirt patch that does not have mowable grass. Leaves were also picked up next to the house on my gravel driveway. Again that was not requested. The back yard contains a shortage of trees to yield twigs. I am extremely upset (hence review) and the operator played poor customer relations card of theres nothing we can do.**Update to below**Yes, the lawn was slightly higher (10 inches roughly, not well over a foot tall) than normal which I expected a slightly higher than $40 cost (maybe $55 on the high side), but do not call me a a bully for trying to resolve things when I contacted the business first and you told me there was nothing you could do. This reviews response was the first time mentioned about leaves being an item needing to be displaced before service. The initial call said sticks only (and a reasonable person could continue to make the connection to rocks and other hard objects), not leaves. I did not ask for that, no one called me to suggest this service would be of such a high increased cost. And why did they pick up the leaves from the driveway? It was not asked for and it was not wanted, it is not an area that needs mowing because it is gravel. I have filed a complaint to the BBB. If they follow through with recourse, good. If not, I did my best to inform others of a scenario that might affect their household.

Very unprofessional office staff. The owner accused me of whining because I complained of lawn clipping in my complexes parking lot. I have no problem with their service but be sure to NEVER call and question them about ANYTHING! A freshman level business course wouldnt hurt this business...

Once again, Lawn Barber has kept my lawn fertilized and the weeds sprayed. My wife and I also love the perimeter pest service they offer as we hate ants, spiders, etc. in our house.
