I tried to use them because I wanted someone local and family owned. I called and set up service and was told that my cart would be delivered the next day so I cancelled my existing service with the big corporate people. Well, no cart was delivered so I called every day for two weeks and left voice mails and no one has ever called me back.

Dont pic up all the trash and make a masses and does not clean up after themselves

They are the best and the office lady is so sweet,nice and helpful. I had to call her like 3 times I got lost going to pay my bill and she actually came out side to flag me down she made sure there was no problems with my service.She is so awsome.They are great picking up your trash too I forgot to sit my bin out one day they actually came up to the house and got it for me.If I have a extra bag or box out of the bin they still take it instead of leaving it.Seriously great customer service. Thank you guys for the service

These folks are a great, hard working family! I agree with previous reviewers, they cannot be out picking up trash and still answering the phone. We support our local families in business and are fine to be patient and just keep trying to reach them. We have used them for years and they are VERY reliable for service!

A few times Ive forgotten to take my container to the curb and Jim retrieved it from my yard...thank you!Some have complained about their response times when calling but they are a small business and dont pay someone to sit around and answer phones all day. Be patient.

I have called several times over the last two weeks and left messages for a call back to setup new service. They dont answer their phone or return calls.

I used this trash service years ago. They were/are the nicest and most hardworking group! I had an injury when I first started using them and had problems getting my trash to the curb. These men would come up to my house ring the bell and take for me the trash bags to the trash truck. They are wonderful people. I dont know of any other trash service that would do what they did for me! Thank you for all that you did for me. Great people and service!!

I have been a customer of MTS for more than a dozen years and I have never had an issue with the service. They are local and family run from what I remember. I have only called the company a few times in all these years and it was just questions on holiday pick-ups. They have always been so kind and helpful on over the phone. I dont believe you will find a better company than Moores Trash Service.

I own a small business in sprfld and have used Moores trash service for it and my home for about five years. They have great service and great prices! We couldnt ask for a better company to work with. As far as the people that have left a bad review about not being able to get a hold of someone or get a returned call, you have to understand this is a family owned business and sometimes theres just not enough hours in the day to do everything. Id say if you want great service and prices, and the ability to actually talk to an owner when you have in issue then be patient and call back. But if you prefer corporate America then call call that 800 number, sit on hold, talk to someone in Istanbul and then become another number on their list that the corporation doesnt care about

This family owned biz is the bomb! They work hard and are very reliable as a trash service. They take all my recycling too! I know I am supporting a local family owned business so when they are a bit hard to reach by phone...I just keep trying until I get them. I just got a call back within minutes today! Geez...this world has gotten SO impatient and entitled.

Great service, family run business. Weve used them 6 or 7 years. Ive called one time to find out why our trash wasnt picked up, the owner answered while he was out picking up trash, said one of his trucks broke down. His prices are so cheap we pay him a little more than he asks. I dont see how he can pay for gas and upkeep of his trucks on what he charges.

Heard this company was good but I left a message a week ago with no return and now their voicemail is full so I literally cannot figure out how to support this business. Any tips?

I recently moved to Springfield and was seeking out a residential trash service. I noticed Moores rave reviews. After several attempts I finally got ahold of the owner. We discussed rates. It all sounded great. He told me he would call me back Monday to set up service. He never called me back even after I left him two more voicemails. I called Ozark Refuse (Buzzard Trash Service) and set service, which was actually cheaper, all in one phone call. Very disappointed in Moores.

Seem like nice people but good luck getting them to talk to you.

I have never used this service but just tried to call them and wanted to share the following:I love small businesss and dont mind being patient but when you cant even leave a message becuase your cell phone VM box is full... Either pay for the enhanced VM service through your carrier or hire a service that it can roll-over to.I will try calling at another time but if unable to get an answer or leave a message, my interest will be gone. Take it or Leave it... Its only 1 missed opportunity.

I have left 2 messages this week to set up new service and have not heard anything back. I get you are running a business but part of that is returning and answering the phone.

They wouldnt answer their phone or return my phone calls. I tried three times. Moved on to another service with messaging on FaceBook.

I called many times trying to set up service and once I got a hold of him, and set up the service, the trash was not picked up. I then called back and left two messages about billing and getting the trash picked up. The animals have gotten into the trash since and I have not heard from him. Its been a week so I called elsewhere for service. Dont waste your time trying...
