Rented an engine hoist; it was sturdy and did what it was intended to do. This is the second time I have rented the same equipment and found the employees to be quick and pleasant, with a rate that is hard to beat.

I have rented many a trailer and skids from general rents, they are a solid company with good service and values

General tool rental tried to charge me $4,689.47 for a 2 week dingo rental with some attachments and they are trying to charge me $1,000 pick up fee and a $325. Damage waver also trying to charge me 100% tax and the machine or its equipment were not damaged nor was the trailer, it was dirty with clay mud and it wasnt returned on time due to a death in my family DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESES PEOPLE! THEY RE WRITE UO A CONTRACT THEY TRIED TO PASS OFF AS MY CONTRACT BUT THE DATES ARE INCORECT AS WELL AS THERE IS NO SIGNATURE.

Dont try to get hold of Kansas by I-44 location. You will hold forever and then get hung up on after waiting 5 minutes!! Did it to me 2 times before I got smart enough to realize they must be millionaires and not want business!!! I can handle that, there are plenty of rental stores in Springfield Missouri!!!

Websites not all the best to you navigate through but good thing I didnt like the most was theres no prices on anything on their website not that I can find

We rented a wood shredder to clean up brush on our property. I stopped in to reserve it the day before it was needed. The next morning the equipment was ready to go when we arrived. We were instructed in its functions and assisted in hooking it up to the truck. The shredder worked very well and return was quick and easy the following morning. A+ for General Rental Center!!

I rented a stump grinder Saturday to take care of 3 stumps in my yard. I originally rented it for 4 hours. It worked so well that I was finished, had it fueled back up, washed and returned in just over 2 hours from the time I rented it. They returned half of my money without me even asking and were pleasant to deal with through the whole transaction. I will be back for more of my rental needs. They get you checked out and back in very quickly.

Cant say nothing bad about the place. The feller was quick with explaining the machine I rented but we are all in a hurry. The guy at the counter was really nice. I like how the guy who shows you the equipment can joke around and not be a stuck up . Good equipment also

Its a rental place with unique equipment I rarely use, but I have rented a couple things like an auger and a wood splitter there. Never had a problem!

DO NOT GO HERE.I rented a log splitter from here and it broke with in 3 hours. This was all good and fine as they gave me some of my money back and even offered to replace it. So I said I would be back later in the week to rent a generator They didnt have the one I wanted so they charged me extra for a bigger on that didnt work. We were 10 miles away from the nearest electricity. And this really put a damper on the trip. They refused to give us our money back. I will never return here and adamantly tell people not to rent here.

They did not honor their agreement and we ended up paying quite a bit more than we were supposed to. They were also very unhelpful with propane in the past. I would pass this place up.

Good rental prices. They have most things you would need to rent. Have used them for years. Never had a bad experience. Sometimes they are a little slow but not horribly so.

Rented a pole saw....thought I was getting an extension saw but it was a 7 ft. fixed handle. The chain was on backwards and when I told the lady, she said (very snippy), well, Ill make a note of that.....Not - oh, we are sorry.Rental fee for a 7 ft. polesaw is $70 for 8 hrs, or 24 hrs....matters not. That is robbery! Ill not go back to this location for sure.

WORST SERVICE EVER. I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. Went there to rent a Texture Sprayer and asked if they new how to operate it. They didnt. It was suppose to be simple as you just add water/mixture and go. Got it to the house to start using it and it didnt even work. Took it back to let them know and they said sorry. Sorry? How bout a $60 refund since thats what I paid to rent the damn thing! Probably a reason why you never see any customers there. Please, dont waste your time going to this place.

Rude on the phone. He told me how much the rental was. I asked if there is a deposit, he said you pay for it all up front and when I asked an explanation to clarify he was rude and repeated him self as if that would answer my question. Didnt even say bye, just hung up.
