Never seen a Kraft DC built underground.A lot of rules, before picking up, are dropping a load . But their rules, are their rules . Just the price of doing business !

Mental Note:::::Dont ever come here again. I waited 16 hours here and I just left. They called me 8 hours later that a dock door was available. Stupid people who dont know about elogs. Never again!!!!

Great place for picking up loaded trailers. Loading in the underground is an experience! Very nice, helpful staff.

The drop & hook wasn’t bad at all. What was? The wait in line. Felt like at least 30 minutes.

Easy drop and hook. The cave is huge so it’s easy to maneuver inside. Nice big parking area if you need it

I didn’t get to pickup in the cave ☹️. Just a drop and hook up topside. Had fun here, tho. Easy in and out and definitely something different. Friendly guy at the guard shack. They don’t micromanage you and treat you like a professional. Looks like people were doing a 10 hour break here, but idk. Didn’t need one and didn’t ask. Hope next time I get to explore the cave.

Good people my appointment was 7:30 am. i check in 1:00 am they gave me door. i was empty 3:00 am. Good

REFUSE ALL LOADS. After waiting 4 hours I called and was told it would only be another hour or so. I called back in an hour and that magically changed to when we get to it. What ever the rate, it isnt worth dealing with liars. After all that I ended up just leaving. If you want to play their game, thats on you. You should probably see somebody about your low self worth. You dont deserve this. Nobody does. Dont play their game. Good luck finding somebody to cover that loadUpdate: They finally called me at 22:30, a full 12.5 hours after my appointment. I finally answered after midnight. Drivers must leave all the time because he didnt seemed too bothered.

In and out pretty fast most of the time. Just depends on which warehouse your going to and what your hauling. Interesting place to load and unload.

I like going underground. Great place. Great people. In and out in a reasonable amount of time.Unfortunately Ill be spending tomorrow in a trailer repair shop but theyre not completely to blame. They just finished off what my employer wouldnt fix. Now he has to fix it!I just dont understand why they have to slam so hard into the trailers. Especially when they know its not attached to the truck. Im surprised it didnt crash to the ground.

At the Northern check in you have to park and walk to check in. The guy checking us in during the afternoon was not friendly at all.However the cave was awesome.Once you at given a doc (which may take hours), they load fast.The lady who worked the night check out was friendly and very professional.

Spent 36 hours here!!! 30 hours just waiting for a door. Its unfortunate because this is one of the better built caves Ive been to. I was basically able to straight back into the dock, but now I will have to deny any load from this place due to sitting so long. If you dont like to drive and losing money isnt a issue this is the place for you.

Horrible!! Areived 1 hour early, took 8 hours to get loaded. Its a shame! A fine example of shippers and receivers setting appointments without the capacity and apparently without the ability to be efficient. They suck.

Our transportation company has had 3 pick ups at this facility in the last 7 days.First pick up took 25 hours to get loaded.Second pick up took 28 hours to get loaded.Third pick up is currently in progress. Driver had a 4:30 pm pick up scheduled.He arrived 3 hours early, so he was on time. Its now 11:30 pm.I just got off the phone with their shipping department and they said for live loading they are way behind and expect to have the driver loaded by 5am tomorrow.If this timeline proves to be accurate this would be the shortest loading time we will have in the last week and it still be over 12 hours.Delivery will have to be rescheduled and if they dont have an appointment for Friday, we will end up holding this freight throughout the entire weekend.Im not blaming the facility, they obviously have a lot of product to ship.Im writing this review as a word of caution to other carriers out there. If you agree to a load picking up at this facility, be aware of the wait times and price it in to the rate you negotiate with the broker because Kraft pays only $150 layover which is $100 below industry standard for a dry-van and $200 below industry standard for Reefer.Also be extremely cautious if your delivery is a Wal-Mart or another facility that is very strict with appointments and difficult to get rescheduled.Our first load that took 25 hours to get loaded ended up having the delivery rescheduled for 4 days later. In this market 4 days of down time is a very big loss in potential revenue.They answer the phone and seem like nice people but i will personally be putting a block on this particular shipper in our system.For us it simply isnt worth it.

This place is to slow to be a live load facility. Drivers get paid by the mile and losing a whole day of driving time just isnt right. Kraft needs to find away to get live loads done more efficiently.

While this place is very cool, go DIRECTLY to the GUARD SHACK way up top FIRST. We missed the sign and went to check-in at the wrong location. The woman there told us to go inside to building 10. By the time we got there and found out we had to go clear up top, we were 10-minutes late to the guard shack to check in. This caused us to have to wait nearly 8 EIGHT HOURS to get loaded.

Guards are friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to pickup loads

I put 1 star because theres no 0 star so drivers you go to wait more than 15 hours to give u door. This is number one unprofessional company, shame in you.

Total time on premises only two hours. Checked in immediately upon arrival. Very organized system.

This place has gone down hill, I have been here many times before and had alot better service than this time. I am on hour 21 and was told they are still working on it many times by guard. I ended up refusing the load now and they tell me that its going to be till this afternoon before I can get my trailer back cause they have to do a reinventory on the products that has never left there sight only to be completely slowly put on my trailer . If I could give a minus star on this review I would ! I will never take another one of these loads cause I guess they dont care if we are losing money as long as they dont get interference with there time. To many places like this now days that dont care about appointments or anyone elses time or money. Driver beware....

This Distribution is dab the best! I have no problem to picked up preloaded trailer with only 5 minutes with bill of sale on the hand. Customer let me to sleep overnight for 10 hours reset time. I would love to go there again if i send to pick up load from there again! 👍👍

As of June 4th 2020 they are running two days behind on loads coming out of here. Ive been here waiting for about 40 hours now. Only good thing about this place is the staff is relatively nice and they allow on-site overnight parking and they have restroom facilities up here as well. Other than that this place stinks as they are often running behind. So if youre coming here, be prepared to most likely sit for one to two days!

They let you bobtail back up top so thats cool

If you dont like driving much and love sitting just come here!! Be prepared to sit for a day or 2. This is my last time coming here, refusing all loads coming to this place. Place is a joke!! Stay far away!!

Nice people overnight parking vending machines with a couple of snacks and sodas access to restrooms its interesting to drive Underground and theres actually more room for some of their docs and some above ground places that I go to the guard can be a little grumpy sometimes but if I had to deal with us truckers I might be a little grumpy sometimes

Delivered here the last 5 weeks and not once did I get unloaded under 13 hours after appointment time. Seems like live unloads have to wait...dropped trailers more important?

Don’t know what’s going on but they’ve gone downhill bad. Today was the worst I’ve ever seen. All staging lots were full.. street leading to shack packed with trucks. Maybe quit ordering trucks until you get caught up, we won’t be back again.

In and out very little waiting time

You can never bet on loading time. It could be 3 to 8 hours especially if youre late. For adventurous truckers like me its fun driving in the underground tunnel. And mark you they are still drilling more storage spaces... and loads from this place are good paying.... (though good is always relative)

Went in 2hrs before my delivery the guard was very nice put me straight into a door this was at 8am was done and out by 930 am awsome place very nice

Be prepared to wait 30 min to chek in and 16h - 24h for pick. Worst compny they will load you next day.

Very fast only took 20 minutes!

This place was really cool to go into, but the wait time really was horrible. I was there around 2ish and got a call to pick up my trailer around 9ish that evening. By that time I was out of time and all the truck stops were full so I ended up staying on the property. At least thats an option.

Was forced to live load even though all we do is drop and hook. Then they kept me here for over 17 hrs and still no dock. They keep assuring me that it was still a live load....

Not well organized had to read my pickup number two him twice before he could find my load kept saying there was no load under that number instead of him checking his work to make sure he was putting it in right on the computer

If yu are late like an hour then yur appointment don’t come for pick up because they will waste your next 12-15 hrs for loading and yu will be missed your delivery appointment too cuz of themAll is going to be mess

DRIVERS BE PREPARED FOR A LONG STAY, GET YOUR FOOD, SNACKS & DRINK PRIOR TO COMING HERE.....I Had appointment got there 2hrs before my appointment. Took them over 9hrs to finish loading.

If you have never loaded your trailer from inside a cave, Kraft Foods can do that for you. Every driver should try it at least once. Its a trip, if you know what I mean. I give Kraft Foods 5 stars, they deserve it, an then some. Keep up the good work.

Night guard guy kind of rude. Doesnt give good directions for the caves either. Theres enough signs inside to get to where you need to go. Docks appear to all be straight line backs, looks worse than it is. You may drop above ground in drop lot. Has overnight parking.

Delivery here appointment 1 pm reached 11am given door right away in cave but still unloading 10 hours and don’t know how long it will be so be prepared to come here

Went there to pick up a load after I was told it was loaded 12 hours beforehand. Got there. Trailer wasnt loaded and they had no plans or hurry to get loaded. No room to even drop the empty trailer I took there. Wasted time, money, fuel, energy.

Not a bad place to load out of just slow because of their process. By the time you get a door, drive underground and drop your trailer in the door, check in and drive back out, then once they finish and call and you go back underground, get paperwork and get hooked back up then you could of burned thru 4 hours easy. Besides all the running back and fourth no problems and nice people all around

I would have gave these guys a 5 star but they loaded my load on the wrong trailer. Its always fun going underground at the underground in Springfield, Mo. Very nice crew that works at Kraft. Make sure to go up to the guard shack at the top of the hill.

Drv down toward cave entrances, bang a wide hard right and go up the hill.Park on the left n walk to guard shack. Take your DRIVERS LICENSE with you to check in.Listen and follow guards instructions.

The guard is extremely rude and clearly hates his job. They need to replace him!

Its OK most of the time but its a gamble on how quick they get you loaded. You could be there 2-4 hours or longer if they dont have load picked. FYI if you arrive late to your appointment prepare for them to make you wait.

Underground and quick loads

Before check in make sure to park, in parking lot then walk to securityOvernight parking availableClean restroomsGot check in 3 hours before my appointment for pu but they loaded anyway after 7 hoursTheyll load you 44.500 - 45.000I tald them my load is overloaded, they wanted scale ticket, after I brought them scale ticket with almost 80.600 gross weight, they said its will take another couple hours to fix itAfter I left facility, next day broker called me and said you need to take that load back, receiver cancelled the load. So to bring their load back, I had to make appointment for another day. After I brought theirs load back its took another 10 hours to unload it.I will try my best to avoid this place.

It was the coolest shipping yard Ive ever seen

Cave facility so if you are looking for a DC building your not going to see one. The cave is quite spacious with plenty of room to maneuver a 53. Expect to be here for more than 8 hours. They have a clean bathroom facility in the waiting area and they do allow you to take your break in the lot if you want.If you are hungry, once you are bobtail, the Kum&Go on Kearney St is 3min away.I give this place 3 stars because while you will be here a while, they do it right and the staff are friendly and professional.

Lots of room to maneuver

A little disorganized. It took two gaurdshacks and 5 phone calls to put me in the wrong dock. Cool place to see though. An hour and a half to get the correct dock. An hour and a half to get loaded. 15 minutes to get the paperwork.

Great location, more room than lots of above ground shippers!That being said..KEEP TANDEMS up all the way, while driving inside any mountain.The shippers appear to like working there. Along with the guards.

Unloaded at the southeast entrance. Has a little small gate shack and only one entrance to the cave from here. Arrived at 9am for a 5pm delivery. They took me early 12pm... was unloaded in under 30min. Pretty easy backing.

This is my dedicated weekly run. Lot is plenty big and theirs plenty of room down under ground by the docks

Just like a majority of the other reviews, I waited 8 hours to get loaded and that caused me to be late for the drop off which then caused the other company to reschedule my drop off for Friday... 4 days later. Of course I declined so here I go, on my way back to possibly the worst distribution center. Ive been driving for 8 years and this is by FAR the worst one. My advice to all fellow drivers is to not call or take these loads, extremely ridiculous. Workers take too long, the way it is all set up just doesnt make sense and I am sure it will confuse all drivers entering for the first time and dont get me started on the exiting process. Definitely making sure ALL my friends and colleagues know to avoid such loads and of course my family and I will now just avoid even buying Kraft because this is ridiculous.

Check in with the guard on top of the hill. They are also in the cave. Building 10.

Complicated for 18 wheelers. Driver needs to take 65-S Glenstone Ave and turn in E. MEADOWMERE ST!! From 65 Turn in E. Meadowmere St!! All the way to the end where the guard shack is.!!

Nice place but be ready for a very heavy load . And if youre going from Springfield and have to go toward Branson up those hills and back mountains it will be a pull up the hills. Owner operators get ready to see your truck suck fuel lol. The guads at check in have always been very friendly and kind. That goes a long way with me👍

I got here at 10 minutes til 9pm on Friday and I checked in late cuz I had to make sure everything was the way they wanted it and I forgot to leave my doors closed and and so I went to check in and they asked me if my doors were closed and I told them no and they wouldnt let me check in til my doors were closed and that made me 30 minutes late checking in and I have been sitting here fine Friday night and still gonna be here til tomorrow morning if not later
