I bought new computer components from Amazon and tried to put myself together. I have knowledge of IT. Apparently, it does not spin my CPU fan or my Case fan. But one of the RGB light came on. I sent a request for information to this 5 stars local computer company and they got back to me within 15 minutes. OMG, thats so quick. I brought my component over next day. I told them that I have warranty on all parts. They diagnosed my PC right away and called me back within 2 hours. They showed me the difference between working and non working power supply using some kind of testers. They only charged me $40 for this and suggested to get another power supply from where I bought it. That is Amazon. They also told me that my power supply have 3 years warranty. Cool. I was so happy to find Control Alt Delete and particularly Mr. Tom. He is so nice, professional, honest and told me try and save the money. If I cant do it - then he suggested to bring it back. I had my HP Pavilion x360 laptop repaired at Control Alt Delete. I felt i got good service, the price was fair and turn around was quick. Tom took the time to detail the problem and noted everything. My only problem with the service was i was provide with specific model or identification numbers for the motherboard and ribbon cable i broke. Possibly more testing would have been nice to make sure the battery was bad or not first. I do recommend Tom and his staff at Control Alt Delete!

Im so disappointed on all computer repair businesses in the area including this one. When you dont know a hint of computers you dont know if they are overcharging you or not. The good aspect of this place (pros) is they try to be fast.The cons are very inconvenient store hours. They fixed my pc only to find out a cable was hitting my gpu fan resulting in almost losing $500 on that part. Ask for a wifi/Bluetooth card install but they forgot to install the Bluetooth cable to the motherboard. Theres more to the story but that will be venting. Computer repair shops definitely need more customers oversight.*Response to owner: I never called myself a computer genius or anything the like! I was humble all the time. In fact the the one that boasted about leaving things to professional was you and then did a half-baked job. You even told me you tried fixing it 3 times being unsuccessful until another employee did it for you.I did say not to install an OS as part of end product, & I never said dont diagnosed the PC using whatever method you deem so, like installing Windows to test it and then erase it before delivering it to me.And last, I am criticizing the place and the service quality because this is a review but I would not call it bad mouthing as this is neither unfair or spiteful. In fact the one being spiteful and salty is you trying to humiliate me even here. If you dont always give 5-stars service then youll get the appropriate reviews.

After reading so many positive reviews from everyone about this place, I decided to take my external hard drive that was broken to Tom. He advised me, explained the entire process, and gave me the reality of the cost should it need to be shipped to an outside lab. I do recommend Tom to anyone having laptop/hard drive problems. The cost is high for data recovery but he is a very knowledgeable man and will give other alternatives for a solution.

I shared a morning cup of coffee with my laptop and while i enjoyed the coffee, my laptop did not. A small amount was spilled on the unit and was quickly wiped. Unfortunately, it caused it to stop working. I called Control Alt Delete and followed Toms instructions to allow it to dry.The next morning, it did not power up. I brought it into the shop and received a very friendly greeting and check in from Stephanie. Tom said he would check it and call me. Long story short, he was able to successfully move my hard drive to a reconditioned unit. I was most satisfied with the service and felt that this was an honest assessment and resolution. My experience here was great! I had a cracked my macbook retina screen, and bought the replacement screen online - but didnt want to do the repair myself. I emailed them for a quote of the repair labor cost, and the nice gentleman was honest and fair, charging me the original quoted price of only $145 after I was told it would actually cost around $170. So quick! Picked up my fixed laptop within a couple hours. Everything works great. Definitely recommend.

Last Saturday night, I put my laptop on hibernate and by Sunday morning, there was no power to the machine. Not a great experience. Went to them because I dropped my computer. It wouldnt turn on and they opened it up and said it would cost me $200 to get my DATA AND $550 TO FIX THE COMPUTER. I THEN WENT TO APPLE AND THEY OPENED IT UP AND NOTICED THAT THE KEYBOARD WAS JUST UNPLUGGED AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME A DIME. IT TOOK THEM 20 MINUTES. My laptop failed to charge when its plugged in and needed its battery replaced. I brought it to Tom who was very friendly and he ordered the exact battery very quickly for me the same day. My Dell computer of 11 years finally bit the dust a few months ago and my cousin told me it would cost way to much to fix it and cheaper to get a new computer. I listened to my cousin and I had purchased a laptop to have an extra computer when my Dell did finally stop working. A few weeks ago I figured I would see just how much it would cost to fix my Dell with my income tax refund money. I did my search online and found Tom.
