We used First Restoration (FR) to restore our home after a damaging flood. Michael Florence, his sons, and contractor support were professional and courteous. The work was timely and highly quality. I would highly recommend FR, and would use them again.

I was referred to Mike at First Restoration by Travelers Insurance to repair major damage caused by a water leak in my home. Mike was prompt in meeting with me to review the estimate and pointed out several things that Travelers had omitted. He said he would work directly with the adjuster to modify their estimate and he did. Mike scheduled our job promptly and Mikes crews were always on time and courteous. Additionally, Mike agreed to do some upgrades for us while the house was vacated. His crew built a coffered ceiling in our living room that is now the envy of our neighbors. Mike even threw in a few items for no extra charge and he worked directly with the adjuster on some items that were discovered over the course of the job to have them added to the estimate.The overall quality of work was good to excellent. As with all construction work, there were some things that had to be corrected but Mike was happy to have the items pointed out and took care of them. As a former contractor myself, I understand that there will always be punch list items and anyone who has major work done should walk through the job with their contractor to point out anything that is not satisfactory. To provide a balanced review, I thought the work could have progressed a little quicker but Id rather have the job done correctly than done quickly, and to be fair, we chose some materials that took a little longer time to be delivered. Overall, I have no regrets and would not hesitate to recommend First Restoration for damage restoration construction.

Awesome work as far as what reconstruction was done, absolutely terrible on clean-up. And billing? Well, get ready to be taken for a ride. This guy (Mike) is clearly used to charging people the max under insurance, even if he doesnt do all of the work on the estimate. Get ready to rumble once he finally gets around to billing you.

I contracted with First Restoration to restore my water damage floor. The floor looks great and I think it was quality workmanship on the part of the workers. Mike was my contact thru the process and he really worked hard for me thru the insurance process. he was very skilled at dealing with all the claim process and I appreciate all his efforts. He works really hard for his clients. I appreciated him so much in all of this stressful insurance stuff.
