I hired them to remove my asbestos in my basement and my very old oil furnace. I felt they were the better of the bids I received. They were easy to arrange the job with but they ended up being a nightmare and cost me additional money due to their carelessness. The heating system had a zone attached and they didnt think about it at all. They assumed that the new boiler would encompass that piece of the project...it didnt. When the installing plumber arrived it was discovered that the heat exchanger that would be reused with the new boiler had been damaged. Bay State workers had just pulled and twisted it. It couldnt be reused. I called and spoke with the office people and a man named Derek called me back and said he would refund me $500. He didnt. They also pushed a hole into a particle board wall near the boiler. With the protection of the asbestos removal, I couldnt monitor their work but they didnt ask questions about what was being replaced on the heating system and I wasnt aware that I needed to tell them to preserve the zone elements on the old boiler....the plumbers felt they were very destructive in their approach to the job. I own my own business and I havent had time to fight with this company but obviously their word means nothing, They have no attention to detail and they dont step up when they know there is a problem. They wanted me to believe the plumbers caused all the damage. Within 5 minutes of the plumbers arrival, all the problems with the asbestos removal were discovered. They wanted to pass the buck because I am a woman. There are other asbestos removal companies in the valley and the pricing has been comparable. Choose someone else.
