I am updating this review because once the new owner got involved things have been very different. I believe Mark is trying to run a company with good customer service. Mark has called several times for updates and plans to fix the dishwasher himself. Now, as far as BOSCH is concerned- still very disappointed! Thank you Mr. Appliance for working to make sure your customer (us) were satisfied with your services.

Mr. Appliance came out to replace our heating element in our dryer. I asked about having the dryer vents cleaned out too. The repair man told me he couldnt do it that day but they could send someone out in the next week or two. He had me prepay for the service we spoke about. I was never contacted by Mr. Appliance. They took my money but never came to clean the air vents. After about a month of waiting I called to ask for a refund instead of the service. They seemed to be understanding and told me that they would refund my credit card. It has been almost two months since the service charge. They still havent refunded the money. I have tried to call and they havent returned my calls. I will not use a company that manages this way in the future.

Oh roughly a month ago our freezer went on the fritz so, we called a different company and got the run around. We searched around and found Mr. Appliance and man did we hit the jackpot. They have been right on point, very polite, courteous, very informative and well within anyones budget. Jeremy was super cool, talkative, and walked me through everything that he did and what needed to be done. Mr. Appliance keep up the awesome work because a company like yours is far and few in between. Thanks Guys!!!!

I had them come out and diagnose my washing machine a month ago and paid the fee, asked them to do the repair I was told when I called that same day, that the part was being ordered as we spoke. 2 weeks later, no calls, no show. I called them and was informed that the part was on back order and I requested updates and was assured that I would have them. Another 2 weeks, still nothing I wouldnt ever recommend this outfit

Great company with great service. I call late at night and they set up an appointment for the next day. I got an email and a text showing me who the technician would be. 20 minutes before the appointment I got an alert that they were on the way. When Dan the technician showed up he was kind and even put on some foot covers to protect our floor. When he finished, the billing was easy and he explained the repair in detail.Perfect execution and excellent service. If you need help getting your appliances this is your new appliance champion.

UPDATE 2/4: I WAS NEVER CONTACTED BY MR. APPLIANCE AS PROMISED SO I CALLED ANOTHER APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANY. THEY SHOWED UP AS PROMISED 2 DAYS LATER. MY MICROWAVE WAS FIXED IN 20 MINUTES, NO PARTS REQUIRED, AND A TOTAL COST OF $79!!!! I highly recommend you call Service Brothers Appliance Repair instead of Mr. Appliance.I am very troubled about my experience with this company. I contacted them about repairing my microwave. The door latch had broken so the door won’t shut. They were quick to respond to me at first and I was pleased. However, the gentleman who came to my home was very unfriendly. He didn’t touch the actual microwave, he just googled some stuff and then told me it was going to be an expensive repair so I should see if I had an extended warranty for it. He charged me for the visit and told me it would apply to the work if I did t gave an extended warranty to cover it.I called the office a couple days later to affirm that it was not covered under warranty and I want to make sure the parts were ordered. I had to leave a message. That was weeks ago. I have called and called leaving messages with my work number and cell. I have gotten a couple messages back from them just saying to call.Today, I finally got through and was told they could not get parts for me so I should try calling another repairman. I asked if the parts were simply not available at all or if they were just having difficulty getting things because of Covid, which I totally understand. She, Paige, said they just couldn’t get them. So, I suggested that if I am able to get the parts, are they still willing to do the repair because I was told that part of what I paid would apply to my repair. She said, no, the money I paid was just for the guy to come out.This company had a lot of really positive reviews so I don’t want to leap to conclusions such as theft and impropriety, however, something is not right here! Why would I be told to contact another repairman if the parts were totally unavailable? The microwave is only a few years old. I have never been rude or difficult.Paige told me she would have Curtis, the owner, contact me within 48 hours to figure out a resolution. I hope that I can then come back and update this review more positively. 🀞UPDATE: 1/19/21 (6 days later). I AM SAD TO SAY I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM CURTIS OR PAIGE. I AM COUNTING MY LOSSES AND TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME BEFORE YOU EXPERIENCE THE SAME EXPENSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Jeremy was great, I want to say that off the bat. My issue is with communication. 1 shock was ordered instead of 4, so the rest needed to be ordered. Fine, stuff happens. BUT LET ME KNOW! Dont leave me hanging, wondering whats going on and why its taking so long! Dont make me call to find out whats going on. I would not recommend this company for that reason, and that one alone. Im not one to give a poor review, but when my refrigerator wasnt working properly they came out twice to diagnose and try to correct. They assured me they could fix it and ordered the part. Kept getting the run around about when they would be out. Kept pushing my appointment everyday for a week and a half. Poor service and nothing was ever fixed. 3 weeks after trying to get all fixed I asked for a full refund.

I called on behalf of my mother-in-law and she was more than overjoyed. An appointment was set by phone with a very professional and polite women, and the tech called my MIL to verify and arrived at set time and repaired my MIL washing machine quickly and for a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to call again in the same situation.

The whole process was great, even though our washer required more work than was worth doing. I couldnt get any other repair guys around to answer or call back. Mr. Appliance answered the first call, scheduled our service right away, then sent me a text and email of what my technician looks like. The technician was on-time and very curtious. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was $89 for the guy to come out and trouble shoot, but well worth it.

I’ve been needing my dryer vent cleaned and the exterior louver replaced but didnt know who to call since the exhaust is 15’ off the ground. I came across Mr. Appliance in Springfield. They did a great job with both (professional, quick, anxious to help, and less $ than I thought) and also fixed my large BBQ pit while they were here. They are part of a larger group called Neighborly that does basically every kind of home services. Glad I found them!

Ill try to keep this short - the people at Mr. Appliance have been AMAZING each step of the way! It was easy to schedule the appointment to diagnose the rust on our LG washer and Chris was an excellent technician! Amanda and Keena have been very patient in the phone, even guiding me through the horrible process of dealing with LGs customer service. The Mr. Appliance team made sure that LG covered the parts and labor, so no cost to me!!!!They are still working with LG due to the multiple issues weve had! We have learned that L.G. is not the product to purchase. But with the help of Jeremie service rep. He finally got it fixed. Each of the times that Jeremie was here at the house because L.G. told him incorrectly he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. After 5 weeks of L.G. lack of knowledge jeremie finally won and Im back up and running. Still waiting for my refund.

Great repair, very nice technician, my wife loved that they sent a photo of the repair tech that will be doing the repair the day before so we know who will show up at the door.The repair tech showed up at 1:20 PM and diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck and the dryer repaired by 1:38 PM. My wife messages me and asks if she should just put the $209.36 cost of the repair on her credit card....OK, No...Clearly I need to talk to him to figure out what was so easy to repair that it only took 18 minutes to do, but still cost over $200... So I talk to the repair tech directly and he informs me that the part was $75. I note that it sounds very expensive for a roller. He told me they can only use OEM parts from LG, because they have a contract with them, and that is the price they were given. I like to play with my cars so I understand the markup on OEM parts over aftermarket so I dont complain, BUT I asked why his 18 minutes of work cost me $134.36. He proceeds to tell me that they jobs are all coded into the system and the rates are all preset, he didnt set the price, or the rates. He agrees the rate is high for the time, so he adjusts it down to just $74.39 for labor. Still high in my book, but I understand they need to make money. I thank him and give him my card number.Later however I go to look up the part number that I paid $75 for and found the exact OEM part (Part# DC97-16782A) online for exactly $12.40. I even found it for as cheap as $4 from a 3rd party. So the moral of this story is if you are in a hurry and price is no object then these guys have an amazing service; however, Im still more than a little irritated that I paid $153.89(with tax) for a $12.40 part and 18 minutes of work.

Our washer had a cracked drum and we called Mr. Appliance the day after Christmas. Jeremy came ou6 and charged 90 bucks to tell us there was no way he could fix or replace it and offerred no advice. My husband fixed it with JBwaterweld.Fast forward to today, I called Service Brothers due to an issue I created by overloading the washer. Service Brothers fixed my problem easily and actually informed us that if I ever have problems with the drum that they indeed can order a new one and replace it for us.Mr. Appliance is a scam. They lied and said the part was unable to be ordered. Service Brothers checked and its just a factory order so it takes longer. Save your money and Go to Service Brothers!!

After a lot of broken promises and double talk and a washing machine that still doesnt work, I get a call begging me for a good review if they bought the right part and installed it. Complete shysters! The first tech came and fiddled for an hour maybe. Said it was an actuator when we very plainly found through research and multiple phone calls that the timer was bad. Ok lets do it. Promised to be back Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday rolls around and a different tech shows up with no part and no knowledge of our problem. First tech comes back Thursday with the part, installs and leaves within 20 minutes without testing. Lo and behold washer is still doing the exact thing that we called about. My wife calls multiple times to find out how we remedy this and receives no call back for 4 hours. Fast forward to the begging for a good review. After questioning the person on the phone for a while and asking legitimate questions, he proceeds to tell me never mind, were just going to refund your money. You can go buy a new washer. Really? Dont bother with these guys. Maybe theyre good in other towns, but theyre pretty typical for fly by night repairmen in Springfield . Dont let them eat a week of your time like they did mine. I knew I shouldnt have cheaped out and went with a reputable company. My machine would be running right now. Lesson learned.Edit. Now a week later and a reputable repairman comes to look at my machine. He actually takes the time to read problem codes the machine is throwing and lo and behold no parts need replacing! Water line clog and my kids were stuffing the machine too heavy. Apparently these guys just throw parts at a machine until a fix sticks. At your cost! Now I understand why the manager got so edgy with me and decided to refund my money (wich hasnt been recieved yet) as soon as I start asking valid questions. Pretty sure he was trying to talk my wife into buying a machine from him and hell take ours away. Then turn around and fix and flip it. Please, just dont. Pay a little more for a real repair service that has reviews that arent fake.

This is an edit. Please READ!!!I found out after my post that my call went to a closer office since I live in Aurora, the MONETT office services my area. It is my understanding that each of their locations schedule the repair/pickup of your appliance. Since my appliance was a KitchenAid mixer, I just dropped it off on Friday afternoon. They did not have the necessary part(s) and had to order said parts. RAZZLE DAZZLE the parts came in Monday afternoon and it was repaired and I got there to pickup with plenty of time before the closed 5pm.Now that is what I call SERVICE! I will definitely be a repeat customer. They told me I had a ONE YEAR PARTS & LABOR WARRANTY. Reasonable prices, friendly staff (JESSICA & MARK), Courteous, everything you could ask.Thanks again Jessica & Mark. You folks ROCK.PLEASE CONSIDER Mr. Appliance for your next repairs!!!The Springfield office NEVER called back and the office was by appointment only.
