Wow. I’ve been trying to find a one bedroom apartment for months. I’m not gonna find one here either there’s just too many applicants ahead of me as usual. I would like to say the Manager Laura here is incredible. She loves her job and she loves working for this apartment complex. In 20 years of renting apartments I have never come across a manager with the phone presents that has. When you talk with this young lady you’ll find out what I’m saying is 100% true. This facility is lucky to have her and I wish she would’ve worked for my company. It’s a horrible process trying to find an apartment during the pandemic.
Overall very happy with the moving process! Jeff was super nice every time we had a conversation about leasing! When we finally got into our apartment there was a goodie basket waiting and it smelt so nice too! For me and my families first apartment we definitely hit the jack pot, I was absolutely thrilled to bring my son home to a safe clean environment! Couldn’t thank them enough, highly recommended to anyone with a small child and just starting out on there own!
I had an amazing experience moving in to these apartments. Laura and Jeff at the front office were extremely friendly and helpful with helping me go through the paperwork process and get settled in. Derrick on maintenance does wonderful work also. The three of them take a lot of pride in keeping the grounds maintained and presenting clean and pet-friendly apartments. Sequoia sends out a newsletter periodically letting the residents know whats new and about any upcoming water shut-offs or important events, inspections, and reminders which is nice! The pool and laundry rooms are cleaned and sanitized daily. I also love the location and how it is not on a busy street but is still very close to bus stations and shopping centers. Overall have had a very happy experience :) We dont hear much of our neighbors also which is a big plus.
I was nervous relocating from out of state to a place I’ve never seen in person before but Laura and Jeff made it such an incredibly easy and seem less experience. They were communicative through every step of the process and very accommodating. Every little nitty gritty question I had was only a friendly phone call away. Upon moving in the place was exactly as advertised and even some perks we didn’t anticipate. They definitely care about their property and tenants which is rare. I would highly recommend.
Jeff and Leslie have made our whole move so easy. They took the time to reach out to us on every single question we had. They were also so sweet when ever I needed anything. Jeff always remembers me when I call and when we finally got to the apartment after a very long day of moving there was a sweet welcome gift waiting for us.I am so excited to be here and really enjoy the support the Sequoia Team had given us!!!
It is a awesome place to live with have a autistic child and all the understanding and caring people here. Even our neighbors are amazing with our sons behavior when hes getting too loud we all communicate and make it where its pleasant for everyone. And the grounds are beautiful with lots of trees.
I love the office staff at Sequoia! The apartments are big and the courtyards are very well kept. They accept pets too which is a huge plus, and is why they are more expensive than others, but they are still reasonably priced. The laundry facilities are clean and have card readers which is super helpful, but someone stole my laundry basket while I was doing laundry so I guess dont leave your stuff unattended! The parking is really spacious and I never have trouble finding a spot, and you dont pay for parking either.Truly, Charity and Jeff is what makes Sequoia such a nice place to live. They are always friendly and remember who you are. During the covid crisis they checked on us to make sure we were doing okay and let us know there were options if we were having financial troubles.
400 pet deposits plus 30 a month 🍵🍵🍵 but other than that nice. Good location, decent neighbors
So far Im not impressed. We have had to listen to loud noise and (in a nonsmoking community) have to smell an ashtray coning from the apt down below that claims to not smoke. Tonight i got to hear the wonderful music of someone screwing for an hour. Great place to live if you dont have a life.
We e by fine a lit ki do zoo zxzz Calls t the send cuz
They took us to court for late rent a week after I had my baby. I asked if they would work with us they wanted rent that day which was already 1,200 they also wanted an extra 700 dollars for court costs I tried explaining I just had a baby but they didnt care then they are trying to charge us almost 4,000 for abandoning the apartment. It was absolutely ridiculous I dont recommend this place they dont care about their tenants they only care about getting their money
I use to love living here but with the new management they tack on fees, implemented silly rules that made me get rid of all my balcony furniture and plants as well as my rent has gone up from 675 to 825 and starting April my options are to pay almost 1,000/mo for another year or 1,300+ month to month. Its getting too expensive for that price I could be in a place with better amenities. Do not recommend anymore. :( which sucks because Ive been here for 7 years with no plans to move til now.
I have been a resident here since April 2018. I was just kicked out of the leasing office for calmly disputing a fee. Kelli Escobar has asked now for three different amounts. The first amount, she called a missing security deposit. Then the amount mysteriously decreased. Then, once I pointed out that I legally should not be allowed to live in the apartment had I in fact not paid the security deposit, I received a notice asking for yet a different amount, and this time I was called a missing pet deposit. Today, I caved in and brought this illegal, mysterious fee (I am confident that I have paid everything) to Kelli in order to solve this issue. I attempted to tell Kelli, as a mature adult, that though i am paying the fee, I simply do not believe I should be. Let me repeat that: I had two checks in hand, one for my rent, one for this strange fee, and literally placed them on Kellis desk, then attempted to explain that I do not appreciate that I am being charged this fee. Kelli interrupted my statement, berating me with accusations that this fee has been delinquent for 3 months. I have several emails between myself and the leasing office detailing exactly why I have not paid the fee, and have asked multiple times in person and in writing why the amount keeps changing, and why it is being called different things. Kelli had not only refused, apparently, to respond to them, or any of my in-person inquiries, but felt that she should talk over me and not let me use my right to complain as a mature adult. I simply raised my hand and said in a calm, if frustrated, voice: no, you are going to listen to me. Kelli then felt scared, and kicked my girlfriend and I out of the leasing office. I have never been treated this way in my life. She is belittling, immature, and entirely disrespectful. She is incapable of simply listening to the opinions of mature adults. She will not work with you, she will work against you. She will do whatever necessary to keep her peace of mind, including totally ignoring remarkably large accounting errors, and simply pretending that emails do not exist. I fully expect a dishonest, manipulative response from the company. I will be contacting a lawyer. I will not be renewing my lease. I will do everything in my power to ensure that you pay for this, Kelli. If you are confused, which you probably are, please check your emails and you will see how infuriating it is to be a tenant whose landlord not only fails to communicate, but also flat out refuses to do so.
Cheap, clean and quite. If you need a place to help you save money this is the place. They have a nice pool and two laundry rooms. Been here for 6 years and 98% of the time, very quite neighbors. Basic cable and nothing elaborate, but functional.
It was better before the new company took over not worth the price untill each unit has a washer and dryer
This place is affordable and you pay for what you get. Nothing to fancy, but not to horrible. There are some strange rules and weve had a few problems but most were settled.
Rent was $700.00 in Dec 2016 new owners took over 2018 rent jumped to $900.00 and now as of April 2019 rent leaps to $1325.00 + $60.00 for ultilies all month to month prices. Only upgrade was rental office and dog poop stands. Exterior lights are out in so many places and with current snowstorm NEVER was path on property cleared and I fell 3 times on property.Better to move across street then to live here. Better to move almost anywhere then here.Well as of today rent control in effect maybe the rents wont jump so high.Kelly Escobar was kind but Jeff seems arrogant and patronizing.I feel his attitude when talking to so many ppl around here is that we are inconveniencing him. He needs A lot of training in compassion and concerns of others.
Idk what photos they are showing on their website...but they are NOT this place (green buildings with mostly no balconies or patios)...these should be cheaper for what ppl get!
