We haven’t yet received the percussion set but it’s set to be delivered this week directly to my daughters school. I filled out the on line rental application on Friday after business hours and received a response Monday morning. Their listed response time I believe said 2-3 business days (even if it was 1-2 business days) it didn’t take even half of that time!! Thank you for the great service we look forward to doing business with you this school year!

Palen music center is definitely where you want to go! I will have multiple children in band this year. Their rental program works perfect for us. When we had repairs that needed to be done last year, they were easy to work with. Honestly, because I know we are working with them again this year, it is a huge worry off my mind because we will be able to allow our kids to participate in music and the stress and worry of the cost of instruments, supplies, repairs, etc is gone. Thank you, thank you Palen Music Center!

I took all 3 of my trombones in at different points and Im new to town so I wasnt sure what to expect. I received amazing customer service and stellar craftsmanship from Cory DeVine. He is eager to work and offer ideas and works swiftly with an eagles eye for detail.I trusted him so much I brought in a horn that had only been worked on before by 1 (legendary) repairman. So I dont trust this horn to anyone. He did an amazing job with a never before done valve replacement on my bass trombone. I am forever grateful and would trust him with my kids, if I had any. Ha.I cannot recommend this place enough!

Thoroughly disappointed. The lady who greeted me behind the counter seemed displeased I was there from the moment I walked in. She was quick to inform me that they dont do repairs on guitars And they had no Acoustic Bass Strings. Im not even sure she took the time to understand what I was looking for. Huge misunderstanding on my end I guess, because their website lead me to believe they repair musical instruments, specifically string instruments. There was no bold or fine print saying we dont do repairs on guitars. Hours later I received a message request via Facebook from a man claiming to have worked at Palen music. I am not sure how he found me on there which is very unsettling. He wanted to send me free things provided i give him an address I am sure. This entire experience is very uncomfortable and creepy. Do not recommended leaving a bad review because they will track you down. How unprofessional can you be?

I called this shop in search of an instrument called a hang drum or hand pan. Chase, one of the representatives at the store, answered the phone and informed me that they did not carry this instrument. But he took my number and told me he would look into it and let me know what he found out. Within minutes Chase was calling me back with all kinds of websites and suggestions as to where I might find one and what to look for in regards to the quality of the drum... apparently there is a wide variety of hand pans out there! I just want to say thank you Chase for all of the information you provided me and the helpful suggestions!! I highly recommend!

I dropped in to get a few supplies and a quote for an instrument repair and left with so much more! The staff, particularly Chase Cavalier, was incredibly helpful and gave me some excellent recommendations. He also took the time to show me a couple of saxophones and let me play test them. The care taken to follow covid guidelines was fantastic. Everything was sanitized and I felt safe the whole time . Highly recommend!!! ⭐

I took my flute to Palen Music in Springdale, AR for a Key and pad adjustment on January 22, 2021. They said the instrument will be kept in quarantine for 3 days, then they will look at it. They took my credit card info, gave me a receipt and Left. Latter part of the next week I called to see if my instrument is ready to pick up. They said the flute is not ready because they wanted to give me an estimate before fixing it. She gave me the estimate on the phone and said we call you when it is ready. I did not hear from anyone the next week and I called back. They said it takes usually two weeks to repair, so we ‘ll have it by Thursday and call you. Thursday, I did not hear from anyone. I called on Friday and asked them if my flute was ready. After a long wait she came back and said the instrument is not ready and it will be next week. At that time, I told them I am picking up my instrument since it has been exactly three weeks to this day. She Also let me know that they already had charged my credit card. When I got there, they had not issued me the credit. After waiting another 20 minutes for that, they told me they can’t get hold of the accountant to issue the credit at this time but they will send it to my email account. I picked up my instrument on 2/12/’21 and left. A bad experience for me.

I did not want to provide contact information for a relative in case I dont make my payments. There was no other option when renting from Palen. I think its wrong to want to hit up extended family if I dont keep my committments.

Purchased a Taylor Grand Pacific 717e from Palen Music Center in Springfield, MO. The salesman, Collin, was awesome to work with. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. One thing I really appreciated was the follow up with me to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely make this store my preferred place for all of my music needs.

During these 9 years I have received excellent service from the Broken Arrow staff. The professionalism, wisdom, support and service is one of top notch and all very much appreciated. One of things I love best about Palen is the feel of family and that no matter what your school size is; big or small (which Im the very small) you are treated fairly and with excellence. Over the summer, I purchased a Getzen Super Deluxe trumpet. It was in pretty poor shape. The valves did not work, the bell was basically ruined. I dragged it in to Corey Divine, the brass tech at Palen, and asked him what he could do. He gave me a detailed rundown, and we set a budget to work with. I took delivery of the horn this week, and wow. Corey fixed it up to a level I wasnt sure was possible. Palen is very responsive to communication and very knowledgeable about the repairs and work that they are doing on the horns. Ill be returning to Palen for all of my instrumental repair needs.

My 42BO Bach trombone clanked every time I used the trigger. I have been playing on this trombone for 25 years and really did not want to trade it in for a new one..Corey was able to rebuild the trigger so that it is silent AND it still feels the same as it has for years! I could not be happier!!
