I have a 2013 Tahoe with over 200k miles that I use to tow a boat. I take my vehicle to Schmidt because they are detailed and thorough. I ask them to check my truck over to make sure it is safe to tow and will remain reliable. From small leaks to oil changes and tire rotations. They always let me know of things they find and what my options are. Whether it’s good news or bad news. Some tasks I tackle on my own (like brakes). But the big technical items, they are the only ones I turn to. I have struggled to find a reliable knowledgeable mechanic that cared for my vehicles the way I do. The gang at Schmidt are top notch and I prefer their work over mine. Sometimes my work schedule doesn’t allow me to use them as much as I’d prefer, but I use them on all of my vehicles when I can and encourage my employees to do the same. They are always fair and honest with me and I recommend them to everyone who asks.

They got my car in quickly for the air conditioner to be repaired. My son & husband had done some repairs on the shocks/suspension system. I was still getting a warning light. Eric looked over the suspension system and found the issue and now my car doesn’t feel like I am riding in a truck and the air is ice cold. I was without my vehicle for only 1 1/2 days!!Would recommend Schmidt’s to anyone!!

This is the 1st time I used this business. I brought my 2016 Nissan Murano for a 30k mile service. I can here because of the recommendation of my family. They were very Courteous and professional while have a family business atmosphere. My SUV was done on time. When I came to pickup my SUV they had already gave me a veterans discount because they saw my Veterans license plate. The price of the service was cheaper then going to the dealer. This will be we I will bring my vehicles for now on and I would recommend anyone to come here.

I had my CR-V worked on here. WOW. It was expensive, but great quality work. Guaranteed the repairs for two years, AND because it was still making noise after the repairs, changed my differential fluid for free. Sure won me over and my AC is ice cold, wheel bearing fixed and quiet. Theyve definitely earned any future business of mine

This is an excellent company. They have repaired my car several times. I give them a 5 star review for each repair. But it may be more helpful for the consumer to know what they do when things don’t go exactly perfect. My car has a complicated all-terrain system and a computer that has a mind of its own. When they made a repair, that the computer didn’t like, they proficiently and professionally took the car back in and repaired it perfectly. There was no hesitation or discussion they just took back in the shop to get it right.Sometimes it is more important to judge a company when things dont go perfect to see how they handle the situation. We started using Schmidts on the recommendation of a friend. Every time we took a car there, is was a large bill, so I started to lose trust. We recently took my sons car there for an estimate -- issues were: headlights not working, blower not working well, a/c not working well. Mechanic told us that the problem with the headlights was a computer system issue, and the blower needed to be replaced. Gave us an estimate of $1,900.So we took the car to another mechanic, who told us that they did not find a computer system issue and fixed the headlights by installing new headlights; and it did not need a new blower, it just needed cleaned out. Total bill was $553.We will not be going back to Schmidts.

They did an outstanding job working with my warranty company, though that 3rd party company held up the process, Schmidt kept me in the loop and completed the job quickly.

My wife and I just moved to Springboro and needed some work done on our cars. I saw great reviews online for Schmidt Auto, so we tried it out. They had a great back to school offer for a few different bundled services, so we did that.They are very professional and got work done in a timely manner. After the work on my wife’s car, it was shaking on the highway, so I called in and they explained that it was most likely due to the tire rotation and would eventually fade away, but they offered for us to bring the car in to take a quick look and make sure we were satisfied.I highly recommend using them!

I’m new to the area and found Schmidt Auto Care online. They squeezed me in on a hot summer day w/o notice, diagnosed my AC issue fast and accurately, and their prices were very fair. The AC did not work this well after a repair 3 years ago at another shop but now, it’s working like it’s new on 90 degree days. Very friendly and responsive. I priced the same service with Hondas service. Schmidt got to it 3 weeks sooner and was 20% less expensive. Locally owned and operated, but very professional invoices, dropped off the night before and called when completed.

I love going to Schmidt Auto Care! They are knowledgeable and thorough with their work. When I have my vehicle serviced at Schmidt, I know I don’t have to worry if it was done correctly. I brought my 2014 Ford Explorer in to Schmidt Auto Care after my husband, who is rather knowledgeable about cars, couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. Scheduling the appointment online was very easy and the team had read my description of the problem and was ready to talk about the repair when we came to drop it off.After diagnosing the problem, we were offered a courtesy vehicle and given a timeline for when wed get it back. The staff were very helpful and answered all of my husbands questions about the repair.They were very receptive to phone calls wed make to check on the status and even delivered the car back to us, while taking the loaner back so we didnt need to leave the house! Great service! My car runs wonderfully! Very happy first time customer. We will definitely be back!

I had my Jeep towed in after the water pump went out. The staff were very efficient in finding the exact issue, rectifying the problem and getting the vehicle back to me in a timely manner.The new thermostat that was installed ended up failing and the shop ended up repairing the issue free of charge. The situation I had with this business is too much for a review. They wouldnt stop facebook messaging me and emailing me. They have terrible customer service, and told me they could get my car in when they could not. The owner was so petty as to tell a local facebook group admin to remove my post asking for recommendations on the next best step. I did not even mention their business on the post, nor did I say anything negative whatsoever. I would not want to give people like this any of my money.

Ive been going here for about 4 years or so now, and theyre still the easiest mechanics to talk to. Theyll walk you through every problem that your car has (which can be a lot if you drive a rust bucket like I do) and show you exactly how they fix it so you can feel extra confident in their work. Schmidts Auto care was able to get me in the same day I called. I was wanting to come in just for a routine tire rotation and balance, but after I told them my cars steering wheel wobbles at higher speed they took the time to make sure to fix this by testing it at high speed also! I was really impressed with the shop and I was even greeted by Schmidt himself who made sure I was being taken care of. The price is also very reasonable and you really feel like you can trust your car to be taken care of at this shop. I Would highly recommend this shop to anybody.

They got the truck in very quick and they called and informed me that the break pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I told them to do the work, and they had me out at the end of the day. Called to get a quote for an issue that I had already done troubleshooting on. Person I spoke with was unwilling to give me a straight answer even after explaining to him that we had already done some troubleshooting, were pretty sure what the issue was, and that I just wanted an idea on what the cost would be to have someone else fix it for me. Not sure if its policy for them to treat everyone like they dont know what theyre talking about, or if it was because Im a woman. Either way, I definitely wont be calling again and I wouldnt ever take my car here.

Schmidts had previously identified my driveshaft carrier bearing was going contributing to vibration in my 2006 Toyota Tundra. As I was a bit cash strapped, the work needed to be delayed for about a month. When I called to schedule the work, they quickly found a mutually agreeable time slot that worked around my hectic schedule. It took a little longer than we had hoped, but as the shaft was sent out of the shop for alignment, it was to be expected. Best part is, the vibration from the drive shaft is gone, and the bill was significantly less than the quote (dont expect that to happen, as they had to guess how much the other shop would charge, and nobody wants the actual cost to be higher than the estimate!!!)

I recently took my 2010 535 xi to Schmidt auto to have the water pump changed. It wasnt cheap, but good service usually isnt. I fully recommend them, and will continue to use them for routine service, as well as larger jobs should they be necessary. Top notch service.

While driving from Ontario to Kentucky, our car developed a serious problem. Luckily it happened at exit 38 on I75 and we were referred to Schmidt Auto Care. It happened late on a Thursday afternoon and it was necessary that we continue our trip. Schmidt referred us to a towing service as well as a car rental company and we continued on leaving our vehicle in their care. The necessary repairs were completed the following day and the invoice was a fair reflection of the service rendered. We found the entire staff to be professional, knowledgeable and courteous.
