We had heat pump and furnace installed. They installers were very professional and efficient. We will use them again..and highly recommend.

These guys are fantastic... not only did they not shame me for not replacing the system last summer, but they made sure that I got a great deal on the high end system that I wanted. It’s always nice to hear truth from companies, and even though they knew they were getting the sale, they still made sure my little ones were nice and warm until they could get the new system in. Installation was less than a day, professional, clean, and walked me through step by step. If you are looking for high end quality, this is the place. Great financing options if you need it too!

Two years ago this company installed a Mitsubishi mini-split AC/Heatpump unit for us just for one room. The cost is over $5,000. Now weve got issues with cooling functionality. They came and detects that there is a leak of coolant. They said this unit has know issue or its coil that causes leaks. We decided to just add coolant and see how it works, and the charge is almost $400. If the coolant is leaking before of a bad product, how can the company knows about this and still sell a bad product to us to they can profit from the high service charge? If its not a part issue, and just a bad connection, then it means the company did a poor job installing this unit. Now they need to charge us almost $400 for mistakes made on their part? Either way, its not what a good company should do. We will not use this company again. It does not appear that theyre trying to maintain customers for the long run. Just a quick hit and run.

I like that the same people come to service our AC and heat. Corey is always professional, even knows our dog well, and knows exactly whats going on with the AC and what we want to do. Its nice not to have to re-explain to a new person everytime. Theres just a level of comfort we have when Corey comes that feels like its not a stranger coming into your home but someone you respect and trust. He does an excellent job!

Ben showed up early and walked us through the entire process. He explained everything about ductless units and listened and answered all of our questions. He insisted on wearing ridiculous booties over his shoes, even when asked not to. Overall great experience and a great value!

We just recently had Watkins replace our AC & furnace and have nothing but great things to say. Greg, Jaccob, Cody were fantastic throughout the entire install day - they kept our house clean, kept us in the loop with how things were progressing, explained the entire system to us in great detail, etc. Also, while some contractors working inside a house may get annoyed with 3 little kids running around all day long here at our home, they interacted great with our kids. We also really enjoyed working with Jim throughout the entire process as well, making sure we had everything we needed through every step. Thank you Watkins for the great experience!

No one wants to buy a new hvac system but they made it as painless as possible. Our sales rep listened to what we wanted and gave us some options without any hard selling. The install was sheduled right away. The installers were fast and neat and gave us an overview of the system. The final price was exactly as quoted with no additional costs and it was definitely less expensive compared to some other quotes. Im 100% confident we made a good choice.

Prompt and professional, was on time despite the snowstorm the night before. Impeccable installation with good wire and pipe management (its the small details that make the difference). The sales experience was much better than I expected. No pressure and the salesman didnt push a more expensive system when it wasnt needed for our house. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing residential HVAC work done.

We needed repairs on our heating system after we moved into our new house, and then a few months later on decided to install an entire new system to replace the inefficient 20-year-old furnace and air conditioner. I have no idea how everyone has 5 star experience with this company. My remote rental in West Chester, Furnace wont start, as I used Watkins in the past I contacted them. Its easy to book (online) and time is flexible (5:30-7 pm to meet my tenant working hour), I need to give them credit on that. Then the Tech called me saying the mother board, inducer motor and pressure switch need all be replaced due to unstable air flow. Cost is $1900. I complained this is too expensive. He told me he is not sure about parts price, he will have to check tomorrow in office then let me know. Next day the admin called me proposed $1268 for replaced all 3 items. So I called my AC person in my local area, he said this is definitely impossible I will need to replace all these 3 parts. I contacted a local contractor in Mason I knew asked him get another AC company to check. They came found out there is a blockage in the system so the switch was open. They unclogged, now Furnace is running. The biggest point is even Watkins replaced all the items they stated, the system still wont work. I didnt mention the tech name cause my intent is not causing someone to loose job. But this is very bad experience and I want other people to read the really review and experience.

When I researched changing a heat pump it said that the install was the most critical piece when picking a heating and air company. We had great and timely service, on a very hot day when our ac was out. Their technician Joshua explained everything he was doing and why. I learned a lot about my system. He gave me a price before he fixed it and charged the same price when he was finished. I asked if a Nest would work with our system. He quoted me a price to install it, but wasn’t pushy at all. It turned out we had a clog in the system. I would have been happy with that being fixed, but he also fixed a piece that had fallen off the system, and checked everything else in the system. We were a little low with the water in our lines, so he topped that off as well. I am very impressed with the service and thankful that I now have someone I can call and trust.

I contacted and received estimates from 3 HVAC companies. Watkins H&C was the only contractor that performed a load calculation. My original furnace was oversized and ac was undersized. Ben Freeman was very thorough in his analysis of my hvac system. He took measurements and pictures of my system. Before he left my house we discussed the proposal and I receivded an email of the proposal. Ben did a great job in the evaluation of my current equipment and listened to my comfort needs. His technical knwowledge of the HVAC industry and a recommended solution to my second floor cooling comfort is what sold me on his company. My new Trane HVAC system is scheduled to be installed 2 weeks from the initial proposal. I will post another review after the install.

This is a great company ! They Installed new furnace and air conditioner in October 2019. Watkins was able to come out and evaluate our issue very quickly. Once we knew we had to replace the furnace, they were able to get that done very quickly as well. Luckily this all happened during a warm period so we didnt have to battle cold temps with no furnace. We were very happy with the turn around, the company and the installation folks. I appreciate the follow up and he gave further tips for comfort settings.A note about the system itself. Ive been beyond pleased with the system as a whole. My old system left me feeling warm on many days and bouncing between hot/cold on others. The new Trane system, particularly the variable speed A/C, is on a different level from what Ive experienced. The air felt cooler at higher temperatures allowing me to set my thermostat higher and the house as a whole is far more evenly cooled and heated. The difference is striking. The unit pulls moisture out of the air so well it fell like I was fridge with a slight nibble from the cold air. Again, I had to adjust the temp upward and it feels great. Great system!

Over the span of a few months their team was out to our house to work on the heating unit and later the A/C unit. It came time to replace the entire thing, but our technician was reassuring in his knowledge that it was the best choice. They refunded us some money for the work we had done in the winter, and we got a rebate through Duke Energy. They worked thoroughly, quickly and professionally. Had them replace the ac last summer. Had the best quote so they won my business. Tried to wait a few more years on the furnace. Of course it quit mid January. Ah well. Didn’t need to call anyone else as I had priced out what it should cost. They hit that number and had a new system in 2 days from the initial call. Wife loves the new system. I figured gas furnace was gas furnace and was trying to pinch pennies. I was wrong. New system definitely makes the house more evenly heated. Very please tell surprise. Would recommend.

Great people to work with. John the salesman, asked as to what we wanted and did not push anything on us. This was one of the main reasons we went with Watkins. Everyone I had talked to was very nice and professional. The installation crew was very nice and friendly very professional. When they were done they showed me the thermostat inside unit outside unit asked if I had any questions.

Chris was very polite and apologetic over the error in our system that had been installed last year - promptly fixed the humidifier connection and now things should run smoothly. He walked through the problem, and what he did to fix it and gave a good reminder on how to check on that aspect of the system on the thermostat. While he was a bit late from our given window (longer time with previous client), he was very friendly and helpful.

John and his team of installers where very kind and courteous. They replaced and repaired duct work both on the heat side and return air side. They also installed a new filter system. When completed the difference in the operation of the system is amazing. We have never felt the circulation of air as we do now. I have been very happy with Watkins Heating & Cooling. I recently had a water usage issue which was determined to be the humidifier that they had added to my furnace in November. I called in the afternoon and Joshua was at my house before 6:00 p.m. He found the problem and repaired it quickly. All of the Watkins employees that I have had the pleasure of working with have shown all of the qualities listed. I would highly recommend them.

I called Watkins Tuesday morning after the long memorial day weekend and they were able to get someone out that day. Chris, the technician, was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. If I were just rating the technician it would be a five. My hesitancy to rate Watkins as a company at five is because they were out here last year at the end of June because I had a refrigerant leak. They replaced all my copper piping to the tune of $575. When I turned on my air conditioning this spring all my refrigerant had leaked out again and now I need a new coil. Although it’s possible a new issue arose with my coil in the last two months of summer last year, I’m not entirely convinced my issue wasn’t misdiagnosed. Despite this misgiving, I would still go with Watkins in the future.

Called on a Sunday morning for emergency furnace maintenance. Andy was kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking him questions and was able to understand what he was explaining to me even though I have basically no prior knowledge about furnaces. When I asked questions, I felt that he was giving me answers I can trust. I feel like I have enough information to be able to make an informed decision about my options. Definitely would recommend this company.

Requested a quote from the Tranes website form a local dealer. Heard back from Watkins within 20 minutes while I was still on my computer. Scheduled appointment with Ben who was very knowledgeable and more thorough that anyone else. The front office people are on their game, sale representative gave me a good education about installations, and the installers were fantastic. They paid close attention to every detail and stayed until everything was perfect even though it was past 7pm!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Watkins. The technician Corey arrived early in the time window I was given. Then, he was thorough in diagnosing the problem with my furnace. He also gladly answered my questions as I watched over his shoulder. I like to make repairs myself when I can, and rather than being adversarial Corey was helpful. No pressure tactics at all. Great technician and smart company. Watkins is more interested in the long game than the quick sale, and it worked with me -- when it comes time to replace my system they are the first company Im going to call.

Watkins did an HVAC check-up today which was #2 of 3 free check-ups Ill receive after they installed my new heating and air conditioning units in late October 2018. All was well. Dustin, the Watkins technician, also volunteered to do a quick check of my water heaters anode rod and we found it had completely corroded away. Dustin replaced it which, if I continue to replace anodes as-needed, will double the life of my water heater. Im thankful for Watkins attention to detail and quality!

We called Watkins to get a second opinion because another company had claimed that we had a cracked heat exchanger, and so they would NOT replace the ignitor on our furnace (which was why we didnt have heat) and instead said that we needed to replace our furnace/air conditioning system. We didnt have faith in that diagnosis, so we called Watkins. Brian came out and did a very thorough inspection and said that our furnace would be safe to run and that we could hopefully get a few more years out of it. He was very knowledgeable and put our minds to ease after using a combustion analyzer that showed we didnt have any carbon monoxide leaking into our house, as the other company had suggested. Brian seemed honest with his diagnosis, and there was no high pressure sales from him to purchase a new system at this time when we werent prepared to do so. We were extremely happy with Brian--he definitely went above and beyond with his thorough work!!

After contacting the office, Josh Moody was at our house within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had everything up and running in less than an hour. We have had Josh as our technician the last few calls and he is wonderful.

Unfortunately, we had to replace both our AC and furnace. Fortunately, we went with Watkins to do it. They covered the work area from the front door all the way to the basement to protect our carpet and hardwood flooring. Any mess they made was cleaned before they left and I swear it even looks nicer where the furnace is in the basement now. Very friendly and knowledgeable company to work with. Was impressed from the very first informational meeting to the completed product today.

I trust Watkins to be honest and thorough. Several years ago we had a competitor tell us that we needed a very expensive part. We called Watkins to get a second opinion and they assured us that our furnace was operating well. We switched to Watkins at that point and our 13 year-old system is still working well.

On Friday, 2/14/20, my heatpump was on the fritz. Fortunately I have a maintenance plan with Watkins, and Corey was dispatched later that day to work on the problem. He was able to provide me with heat and ordered a new control panel. Early Monday afternoon the new part was installed by Andy. Problem solved. Both technicians were knowledgeable, informative and great to work with. Happy customer.
