Skilled therapists and helpful staff! I had to change an appointment time and they worked it out for me without any issue. Would definitely recommend this practice!

I was doing fine until I get a phone call saying they can’t service me anymore because I’m a college student out of state. I’m not even a resident there it’s temporary. It’s not fair to me that I have to search for other therapists. Therapy here is the only thing I have that’s for my mental health. Very disappointed

I AM AFRAID THIS MIGHT BE A SCAM DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I was a first time customer and I made an appointment for 3PM because my husband works and I have 2 children whom I stay home with. I was sent a reminder text stating an 11AM ( which I did not catch their error unfortunately). As I was driving to my appointment I saw an email from them stating that I missed my appointment WHICH SAID MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 10AM and that I was charged $120 for missing the appointment. In summary I was given 3 DIFFERENT TIMES FOR 1 APPOINTMENT! I had 3 conversations trying to have this $120 refunded and attempted to make a new appointment but I was told that I would not be refunded. They would not even entertain the FACT that this was their error. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTION AND THEY ARE ADDING STRESS INSTEAD OF HELPING TO ALLEVIATE IT. SHAMEFUL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I absolutely love this place!!!!! Very friendly and great receptionist/staff, and my counselor is absolutely wonderful. Coffee is available in the waiting room and they play music! If youre hesitant, try it! Its absolutely worth the try.

The representative that was in charge of verifying the insurance failed to do so and the organization took it upon their selves (2+ weeks later) to charge my card for services prior to informing me that the charge would be deducted (prior to verbally informing me). It has been a consistent matter of non-documenting of conversation and miscommunication on their end. Even after receiving a call on April 15th at 6:21 PM, I was informed that this matter would be taken up with management; only to receive a call this morning April 27 stating that I missed my appointment, and that no one knew of anyone contacting me about my insurance not being accepted per that location. Then a third call stating that management is still requiring the fee that was not accepted upon the insurance. No accountability to the members of this location involve in the circus of negligence, no courtesy call from management, all fault of the customer. I was really hoping that the services or customer service would have been better due to the many reviews listed but in this case, as a customer you you to conduct your own personal research, follow-up, make documentations, etc.The sad thing is that my son was really excited about starting this journey with his assigned counselor and if you are a parent of a child with Autism, you know that it is a struggle helping them understand on an emotional level but thankfully we were able to see the capabilities of this location on our own before investing further.

This is a wonderful counseling facility! Professional, ethical, and knowledgeable counselors who take their profession seriously, yet are welcoming and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Greater Houston Counseling Services!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor’s office. I came down sick the day of the appointment and I was charged a late cancellation fee of $115. When I called in to speak to the office manager to reschedule, G said there was nothing they could do. I told her I wanted to see them, but she said it was the policy. I think that’s pretty cold blooded for a counseling service.

Mrs. Runnels is the best. Hadnt seen her in good while, however I always enjoyed her logic and reasoning on things. I recommend to anyone to call on her for any concerns you are troubled with !!!

Great location, great array of services tailored to specific populations with effective treatment methods. Wonderful with children and families.

It cost $85 to make the appointment. I had to reschedule and called over 48 hours before my appointment. The person I talked to didn’t put the rescheduled appointment on their calendar, so I had to pay $115 cancelation fee for not giving them 24 hours notice (even though i did) if I wanted another appointment. I even emailed them a screen shot of the phone call showing that I had talked to someone for a few minutes two days before my appointment. Now I’m out $85 and I don’t have a counseling session even though I called and rescheduled within the time they needed.
