Great place for all your car audio needs

The owner was very dishonest and manipulative! Insulted me!! work was full of shortcuts, and issues! Bad quality! Wiring issues! Wrong parts!I went to have a deck and backup camera installed, and the rca wires for a sub to be run under the pannels. The guy tried to sell me their preferred camera for $70 extra, I checked and its like $12 on amazon. That was a red flag! they said it would take 2 hours to install and would call me when it done. 3 hours passed while I was waiting the whole time at Starbucks before I called to check and they said it had been done. So they left me waiting an extra hour or more. When I got cack I want to examine the car before paying. I find a bunch of issues wrong. The Bluetooth mic was installed on dash clipped to a pannel instead of being run up the a-frame and to the visor as the manual says, and as is standard car audio practice. Then I notice a massive scratch on the dash pannel next to the cd deck. This wasnt there. The owner made fun of me for asking how this happened saying what do u think we just kick parts around the floor? That wasnt usIts my car of 3 years and I am an observant person, hence all the issues Im noticing. I know the scratch wasnt there 3 hours earlier that day. Next I see that multiple functions dont work. These are 1) the deck wont open due to too tight of a fit from the parts used, so I cant access cd slot or memory card. 2) the button that activates the back up camera view doesnt work (improper wiring). 3) I open up the dash pannel and see improper parts were used so they used a tar type glue to make things stay in place. 4) at least 2 clips were broken.I ask why the cd slot wont open and he says, oh we had to use another type of kit since the one for your car wouldnt fit but everything else is goodEvery time I mention or ask about one of the issues he explains it away or justifies it. But he didnt volunteer this info so he was lying. He was going to let me pay $250 for a install that wasnt worth $50! I could of done it myself as I usually do but this was a huge inconvenience and waste of time. I complain about what I find and all the dishonesty and issues and he agrees that I can pay half of the total since the issues which really was still overpaying but I was so flustered I agreed. Then he still charged me tax on the full amount when he previously said cash pay doesnt have any tax!Later I noticed more and more issues over the hours and next weeks.1. Trash of wire clippings and from the install all over my car! 2) Broken clips on the pannel behind the back hatch. 3) the hole they drilled for the backup camera behind the license plate was 1 diameter! They drilled 1 of metal for a 1mm wire, and didnt put any grommet to keep out moisture or to prevent the wire from getting cut on the sharp metal.When I called again after finding all this, the owner wouldnt stop speaking over me. Said we had a deal and resolved the issue and that I was a liar and I wasnt a man for not keeping my word despite that he was completely dishonest and did the worst car audio job I have ever seen (and Ive had 5 decks installed over the years.)I would never go here again! I recommend you pay $20 more to get a real technician to do the work done correctly!

Extremely professional and knowledgeable. 20 years experience and it shows. Alex absolutely oozes technical ability. I strongly recommend that you call this shop to discuss your desires and needs and give Dr. Audio a chance ... just to compare skill sets and install options. This is my fourth full automotive audio system and by far my best and easiest experience. Price was very good and I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell unnecessary extras. A very clean install. I highly recommend.

Ok, so I bought a new head unit from Best Buy, not knowing Alex was right around the corner. Had some difficulty, and as usual with chain stores, the experience stops when they get your money. I reached out to Dr. Car Audio and Alex was more than willing to answer my questions, said I could come up there, which I did. Needless to say, he came out to the car corrected the issue. He didnt ask for anything, but I insisted. On top of the generosity of his time and knowledge, the same item at his place was less than Best Buy. Alex has definitely earned my business going forward. I purchased a speaker system for my truck from Alex. Alex is very knowledgable and answered all my questions before I made the purchase. He has 20 years of experience and made sure I got everything I needed, but wasnt pushy about it at all. Speaker system is great! Alex did a great job on the installation. Very neat and clean. Most recently I had Alex install LED headlights. Very neat and clean again and fast service at a price that cant be beat! Ill be back for more upgrades soon!

Was looking to put some stuff in my 2015 VW beetle. I already got all of my speakers, sub and box and had my amps. Im a shopper, so I try not to impulse buy. Learned my lesson. But I was looking for places that werent big box stores and I found this place online and it was close. So I thought Id stop in and see. I explained to Alex what I had purchased and the amps I had. After some education, I told him that I was looking for a few things and my thoughts on the stock radio. After some more education, lol. I asked him if he had a good, simple HU. He brings me a nice Kenwood HU. I didnt want all that fancy apps and junk. It had some fancy stuff, but nothing that would be a waist of money for me. I got the HU plus some other things that I couldnt find or I wasnt willing to pay a crazy price for for my car. He could have tried to sell me a nicer, more expensive HU that I wouldnt have liked. But he sold me what I was looking for at a great price and I got some education out of it👍. Scene then. I have had a few questions about things and have called him. Always was do this. Not well it could be..stuff. Ive been back several times and each time I tell him my issues or if I need to do this. He has never once tried to push or sell me anything that I didnt want or need. And as always, hes never stirred me wrong. I will continue to keep coming back anytime I need something else. The only thing that I can say bad about Alex is, he doesnt really like it when you ask him a question and he gives you the answer and you ask him the same question a few extra times. When you ask him a lot of things and he has to answer it several times. But he was cool about it. My ADHD was in overdrive that day. Thats just a poke at him.🤣 Idk if I would of had the patience to handle me. But he has never stirred me wrong and thats why I will keep recommending him and going back. 👍Update.. Ive gotten more stuff from Alex🤪 bigger amp, sub and box. Again great service and he never lets me down. Plus I always learn something new. Great shop! Great Alex to the rescue ☺️

After one month of having my subs installed by Alex, I can safely say that the quality of his work is amazing. Not only did he do great work, but he did it fast and with a good attitude (answering questions and stuff). I have no major complaints with my experience at the store and with the results. The only thing is that Alex was alone at the store and some customers came in during my installation so he was stretched a little thin helping them out as well, but being patient and considering the circumstances, it was still done faster than I expected. On top of all of that, he cut me a great deal! I would definitely recommend him/this store to friends and family and I would definitely return.

Staff seemed not interested in my questions. He took a quick look in my truck and broke the handle that lowers the back seat - no apologie. Returned shortly with my amps to get an estimate and schedule an install on two vehicles. Staff said he was too busy (with friends vehicle) to answer a few questions. Said I would wait but was informed they would be closed by then. Fed up at that point I flicked their business card in the install bay and said Youre one hell of a salesman buddy. Before I got to my truck he was cursing and threatening to punch me in my face. Also said hes not afraid to go to jail because hes been a few times. Total loser. Apparently I was disrespecting him so he felt the need to show out. Who acts like this? All I needed was 10 -15 min of his time and he would have made a $2,000+ sale. Worst part is he did all this in front of my 13 month old daughter. Took me nearly an hour to calm her down after his outburst. Will be calling BBB.

The guy that does the work is awesome but the owner is anything but. I scheduled an appointment with him to have a full system installed. I had to leave work early to get there for my appointment and when I arrives they were closed. I called the owner and he said they had a slow day so he sent his worker home. What the hell? Im dropping hundreds of dollars, left work early and you closed knowing I had an appointment? He could have at least called me to cancel.

Asked him questions about gauges and amps and he seemed like he didn’t want to answer them. Dropped off friends car with friend and when we came back to pick it up he said I can’t walk inside cause I had mud on my boots. Th first time we walked in. But how did he know it was me if both of us had boots on? As well as there was no mud in my car or my friends car. He seemed unprofessional and non chalant we will not be going to back to him. Dont trust this guy. I went up to his shop today and he couldnt even answer half the questions I threw at him about car audio. After so many questions he ask if I wanted to buy anything or just ask questions. Which made me uninterested about spending money at his shop. He also tries to talk very fast to and offers warrantys he cant stand behind. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR CAR. And read most of his reviews theyll back up everything Im stating

This guy does horrible work, dont trust him with your car. I made the mistake of getting My windows tinted there. Due to how dirty his shop is the window tint will have bubbles from dirt. All of my windows have at least 10 bubbles from dirt. Everytime I come over to the shop his window tinter is either out of town or arrested. Ive asked him for a refund even if he strips off the tint and gives me my money back. He refuses to work with me and tells me to digressive two hours to his other shop if I want my window tint redone. I should have trusted by gut when he quoted me 140 over the phone then when I show up with the car he wants to charge me $260. I got him down to 180. Do yourself a favor and get the work done at a quality shop. I couldnt fathom having him do anything electrical on my car. He wants cash under the table so if you have any issues there is nothing you can do about it.

REALLY GOOD PLACE TO HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED...

I went to this place to find out the prices for tint since the banner outside that clearly says TINT. So I went in there and i questioned the owner about the tint and he says “we don’t do tint no more” I asked why and he said “because we don’t on a very rude tone” so i just walked off, won’t be going back again. I’m thinking the tint job this dude does is bad. JUST TAKE THE BANNER OFF IF YOU DONT DO THAT JOB NO MORE INSTEAD OF BEING RUDE TO CUSTOMERS.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Absolutely ridiculous customer service. the owner of the shop and his employee are extremely rude and cheap. Mostly everything in this shop is cheap junk and can be purchased online for half the price. I made the the mistake of buying a BOSS touchscreen and fog-lights here and had them installed. The screen stopped working after a week and the owner denied ever installing it and wouldnt help me with the warranty, even though I knew he remembered me. Then about a month later, one of the fog-lights went out! How are these guys still in business? Stick with a more reputable place like CarToys or something.

Per my husband:Worse customer service I have ever had! My friend and I went to get my speaker installed after the guy we just spoke to told me he could. When I get there that was not the case. He said its close to closing time so it is to late. Really??? I had previously told him I was going to get my speaker and come right back which I was gone only 30 mins. What kind of business do you run? When I have clients I stay and keep my word and make things happen no matter what time it is. Good customer serivce is all we have to build our businesses. There is to much competition out there. But wait thats not the best part, after that I was so ready to leave after he told me it was to late. I already knew what kind of person I was working with. Not worth my time. My friend was interested in purchasing a lot of things for his new truck that he just purchased. He was asking questions on items that he wanted to purchase. Another customer came in and starts speaking Spanish and he starts speaking Spanish back. My friend doesnt understand what they were saying but I did. I noticed he was treating him alote better then us. Once again my friend asks the owner/salesman a question and the guy flips on him telling him to quit asking him a 1,000 questions and he started raising his voice. It was crazy! After that we left and will never return. Stay away from this place! Worse customer service ever! I rather drive a hour across town and pay more then coming here. Lost my businesses and everyone I know.

I just needed a little more bass, like factory, but with deeper sound. I visited 2 other competitors who did not want to install it and persuaded me to buy one of their systems.
