I highly recommend this place for renting a four-wheel drive to go tooling around in the Anza-Borrego Desert. Kelly has been truly fantastic. I had a last-minute change and she immediately, dated which was very professional very affordable and a very good vibe. Ive rented from 2 other places and this is clearly the best in San Diego

Great service and friendly staff. They fully explained the detail of my rental (2015 4Runner) and provided Mexican insurance for my Baja trip. Of course, there are less expensive ways to visit BC, but this place has it all as a package deal. Would definitely rent from them again.

I rent it for Ragnar race.- Nice and powerful van.- Reasonable Price.- Required paying $150 before the day of rental.- Very detail check before taking the car. Be careful not to damage the car.- Require some cleaning before returning.- With mileage limit- Second driver get charge in per day basis- Payment option default set you up with extra charge for Mexico driving. Its good I catch that so that they can cancel it.In general, more rules and regulations than the others. But, I was guaranteed with a nice van for the race.Its hard to find a van company with reasonable price and with a nice van...so I will go again.

The folks at California Baja saved our vacation, more than once! They were the greatest car rental agency we have worked with, ever...and there have been a lot of them! They walked us thru the whole process for driving a rental in Mexico with grace and patience and a great sense of humor. They gave use great recommendations for routes to take (or NOT take!) even loaned us a book that saved our bacon for places along the way during our trip. If I am ever anywhere near So California, ever know of anyone going to So California, ever eavesdrop on another conversation of someone going to So California...you better believe I am sending them to California Baja! If I could transport their superior customer service and good, clean cars to every airport in the world, I would do it in a heartbeat. This is exactly the type of company I always want to do business with. Hoping to go back and rent from them again...soon!

The best car rental company I have tried.They have a wide selection of vehicles with affordable rates. I took my family to Houston with their wagon and it was a smooth drive. I’m happy also how fast they conduct business and how clear they are with their charges.

If you are looking for a rental car to Mexico use CA Baja RAC. They are extremely friendly and polite. They offer great accessories like a cooler and sat phones, and they educate you every step of the way without pushing. They set you up with Mexican insurance so its hassle free and they have a wide selection of 4x4 vehicles. I highly recommend them and will use them again when I go back.

Friendly & professional. This is THE PLACE if you need to rent 15 passenger vans to get the whole gang down south safely.

Rented some Jeeps from here for off-roading. Jeeps were in good condition and didnt let us down at all. They could handle anything we put them through. The owner is very nice, but be advised: she will talk your ear off.
