I trusted this shop to help me with my auto repairs they replaced my plugs and two coils . aprior to bring my car to this shop .i had previous know ledge of my conver issues. My car rattles and had loss of power . but after replacing the plugs I left with my car sounding very loud. No where near the sound it made prior . this was grossly loud like I had no muffler I expressed my concern and the manager just repeated himself over and over. They couldnt do nothing about it, they seem to take no pride in their work or at least their business ethic. I trusted them to help me not getting over on me,

Quick AAA approved facility. Very friendly, and smog check done quickly. Ryan has always been very professional and honest to deal with. Only drawback, parking can be very limited at times.

I took my RAV4 to Asmars Auto Care for an engine steam clean to detect some oil leaks after an engine was installed on the referral of Sun Auto in El Cajon. The steam clean includes the top & bottom of the engine compartment, front suspension steering rack, front frame & the back of the front wheels. From Ryan, the owner of Asmars, to the Mgr. Vic & Ron, the highly skilled tech who performed my service, I was impressed with their ability to get my RAV steamed in a short amount of time so I could continue with a transmission check & engine diagnostics. I highly recommend Asmars for outstanding service.

Very friendly and courteous. They waved the diagnostic fee after I agreed to have the work done. They even checked the pressure and inflated the tires of my daughters car when she came to pick me up. Such great service, I highly recommend them.

I went to Asmar’s for a basic tune up and to get a smog. I ended up leaving with a rebuilt motor. They saved me a lot of time and money by keeping me from driving around with a ticking time bomb! The work they did was amazing and next level service. I really appreciated Ryan getting Involved with my vehicle and taking such good care of me. I’m very satisfied with Asmar’s. Workers were straight forward... Honest about what they could do and how it would work if I wanted to save money I could have my sons do some simpler things, that really does add up sometimes...I like there work ethics...I dont normally trust mechanics, but they work with you not against you..so thank you for all the work you do and thank you for not making a woman feel talked down to.

Got a car smog dine here, it is a star station which is what I needed. Less than $40 and 15 minutes and I was done! I waited in an air conditioned room reading a cool 60s Cars book and within minutes I got a message from Asmars informing me the car was ready for pickup! The guy was super nice and I will go back again for any auto needs! Theyve been here since 85 and I never noticed them before ...right down the street from me!

I was referred to Asmars Auto Care, by way of Nu Auto repair. The engine compartment of Betsy(BMW330Ci) was just nasty and could not be worked on until cleaned...... and boy she needed to be handled. Well, long story short....Ryan and the team at Asmars Auto🚘 Care did a Engine Cleaning and got her to a point where you could see straight through from top🔝 to bottom, and to boot, Ryan demonstrate an awesome act of follow up, by merely just checking in. ATTENTION: Terrible experience, I don’t know why AAA continues to use them as an option! I brought my car there and have had multiple issues since the time it was supposedly fixed. The follow up was terrible and I had to call multiple times to get a solid answer. Even after they knew I wasn’t satisfied with the service they did nothing to rectify the situation, so save yourself the money and headache!

Really nice shop with great folks. I traveled from up North to have my car steam cleaned bottom to top. They did a great job accommodating me for a second last minute appointment when they saw the mess and were very thorough and honest in regards to price, my car runs cooler and smells better. Ive been coming to Asmars for several years to keep up my 1996 Jeep Cherokee and theyve always taken care of me and have been fair and upfront about everything. I choose to maintain an older vehicle instead of buying or leasing every few years so a place like this with professional techs, attention paid to only using quality parts and an owner, Ryan that personally follows up with me after every job is an absolute necessity. I cant recommend this place highly enough, and Ryan also owns an outstanding exhaust/muffler shop as well in La Mesa called Ed Hansons so free plug for there as well, top notch place for ANY exhaust system work.

I brought my truck in and noticed that the repairs that were recommended were severely over priced. They were gonna charge me over 2000 dollars. Then didnt help my mechanics move the car off the shop. I got the whole job done for 700 plus the crazy towing fee. The people in there are nice though. Just the prices too high.

These guys are awesome! They are a bunch of nice guys, their prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for! I think theyre about the best mechanics Ive seen in a long time, Go for an oil change, tell them I sent you, theyll give you a great deal!!!

Had them repair front end of pickup due to accident that happened a year before. I emphasised the importants of making the vehicle roadworthy. They checked everything and gave me the OK. The next day I drove the pickup 1300 miles from San Diego to Northern Washington with no mechanical problems. Well done. By the way the pickup is a 97 Ford F150.

Had battery installed behind wheel well in my convertible. They said I needed a new alternator. Quoted me 475.00 . My car broke down, had alternator checked, it was unplugged. Now Im missing fasteners to hold parts on where they worked on it. Yeah Im disappointed.
