I wish I could say this company is amazing. They do have good prices, and if you fit their bill they’ll be super kind to you. But if you look different, act different or if the girls simply don’t like you they will treat you like garbage off of the street. Absolutely terrible people. The owner seems kind but the old boomers who work here have absolutely no idea how to be kind to anyone they think is different than them. Treat girls like they are going to rob the place when they have no intention of doing so. Worst company practices I’ve ever seen in my life.
We had such a great experience at Austins. We got the honor to work with Heather, she was a great listener, very knowledge, and made us feel very comfortable and confident in our purchase. I would recommend her to anyone and I look forward to working with her again!
Wonderful place!! Wonderful people!!! Will ALWAYS take my business there!! SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE! 😉
Just how I remembered when we went here for our wedding ring sizing, unbelievable customer service. Tammy, you are a wonderful person and Im grateful I had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting you and receiving great service from you. I highly reccomend Austins Fine Jewelry.
We had a great experience with the appraisal process and the people there were great thanks Bob
I stopped into this jeweler because another jeweler where we had bought my wedding ring told me I would need my 2 channel setting redone at the price of $500.00. They also told me if they put it in the cleaner diamonds would fall out. They really kept pressing me to leave it with them to get sent out to be fixed, they even tried to get me to open up a charge account to pay for the work to be done. Well I left with the ring because something inside me said get another opinion. So Austins looked over my ring and told me the channel settings were just fine, Tammy who helped me showed me with a tool as she went down the channel setting touching each diamond, look she said, not one diamond is moving there is nothing wrong with the channel setting She noticed the princess cut setting was very sharp to the touch. I told her the other jeweler said that it would need to wear down as it had just been retipped. Again, Tammy said thats not a true statement. She asked if she could give it to her jeweler to get rid of the sharp edges.I just picked it up today, its so very beautiful, smooth tipped setting and oh, wait! No missing stones after being cleaned.Thank you Austins because you could have taken advantage of this girl but you didnt. You are my new jeweler for life. ❤
Great experience. Heather was accommodating and truley seemed to just want us to find a ring that matched my finance, which she did. Then to top it off the owner came in and personally introduced himself and thanked us for coming in. Do not go to a mall in Spokane for a ring, go to Austins.
I worked with Kelly here and he is amazing. He designed both my parents rings, my grandmothers ring, and my grandmothers 50th wedding anniversary bracelet. Although my engagement ring was not his work or from Austins he replaced a small accent stone for me after it fell out. My fiance went back to Austins and purchased my wedding band there for quite a reasonable price. If you are in need of anything jewelry related, I highly suggest not only going to Austins, but going to see Kelly. He is so talented and creative when it comes to designing. Besides that, he is a pleasure to talk to and really makes each visit special.
I went in to get my necklace repaired and Kelly was very sweet. All the staff is very welcoming and caring, they worked well with me and will definitely go back for repair services or to shop. :)
Such an amazing experience shopping for an engagement ring at Austins. Angela made the process so easy, and went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect ring. The experience at Austins is so much better than anywhere else in town and I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone looking for a great jeweler stop by here. Theyll have my business for life. Thanks again to everyone there!
We purchased my engagement and wedding band as well as my husbands wedding band at Austins in 2011. Austins was also able to have my husbands pocket watch (an antique that was his grandfathers) cleaned and repaired that he wore for our wedding.By the time we went to Austins we had been to many other jewelry stores - all of which were a similar experience. In most jewelry stores, you are in a large room with numerous other customers with everyone trying to peer into the same glass cases with all the distractions that come along with having other people nearby. However at Austins, the customer is taken into a beautiful office, offered coffee and often home made cookies. Then all the settings and loose diamonds are brought to you to look at. We were so impressed with the large number to choose from! Additionally, they do custom work on the premises. While we did select a setting they had in stock, we ended up having it further customized which was no problem at all for Austins. We also had my husbands band engraved and that too turned out great. They have several jewelers, all of whom are very knowledgeable about all areas of jewelry. The person we worked with in particular was Angela Wray. She made the process exciting and always makes us feel like we are her only customers. Finally, there is never any pressure to purchase what so ever and we were never rushed. We were thrilled with the easy payment plan offered which allowed us to get the rings and stone we really wanted. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful with Austins and we will always consider them our jeweler.
Very disappointed. I took my engagement ring and band to Austin’s to have it resized less than a year later. We recently brought it back because 3 diamonds fell out and they needed replaced. They were so amazing when I dropped my ring off. Told me it was under warranty. The whole “9 yards” Well, after not hearing from them for a week, my husband calls to see how the process is going. Come to find out, it was in Post Falls and they were trying to claim that it wasn’t covered under warranty, that the diamonds I had lost were not caused by the work they did when resizing. Very disappointing because we have absolutely loved working with them in the past. I felt like I was mislead.
Great customer service! We worked with Sue to appraise my grandmother’s ring and she was nothing but sweet the entire process. Would recommend to anyone!
I have sold, bought and traded jewelry with Dan Austin for 25 years and have complete trust and confidence with his services. Their repair service is efficient and reasonably priced. I wouldnt shop anywhere else.
Had some old wedding rings that were laying around, and I decided to get rid of them. One place told me what they would pay, while I was checking around I saw the reviews on Austins, and took them there to get a value. They offered me three times what the other place had quoted me.Needless to say, I took their offer and had a check in hand in just a few minutes. A great experience!
My fiancé had my engagement ring designed at Austins Fine Jewelry by Dan. He brought in a picture of a ring I liked at Kay Jewelers and told him my size. The ring he designed for me is so gorgeous and way higher quality and sparkle then any of the rings I looked at in the local jewelry stores. Then I brought my rings in to Austins to have them soldered by Gary Bower(Certifed Master Jeweler), and my rings turned out beautiful! He also cleaned them for me, checked to make sure all the diamonds were tight, and now my ring will look perfect for my wedding day! So impressed with their service and would recommend Austins to any of my friends and family! Thanks Dan and Gary for giving me the perfect rings!
Kelly was very informative and accomadating! Buying an engagement ring from there was a pleasure. Highly recommend!
Wonderful and very friendly service, phenomenal work, definitely recommend.
Unparalleled service. I came in to replace a watch band and they just went above and beyond.
Austin’s is a reputable company because of Dan Austin!
