We love South Hill Pediatric Dentistry. We asked our kids at Sunday dinner what they were most looking forward to this week, and they both said going to the dentist! Everyone there makes them feel so welcome and at ease that what is normally something people dread is something my kids look forward to. Thank you for being so friendly and knowledgeable. This is the second time both of my girls have been seen here. This has to absolutely be the BEST pediatric dentist office I have ever seen. From starting at the front desk staff and scheduler all the way back to the techs and Dr Johnson, this clinic has the best customer service, is incredible with kiddos and makes the appointment and the entire environment so much fun!!! My girls LOVE going to see them!! Very informative and caring about their patients! I cant say enough great things about this clinic and ALL of the staff members!!!

New facility is beautiful and the staff are kind and helpful. They provide information on how to support your childs oral health in a friendly and non-judgemental way. My children look forward to their dental visits!

We have been going here for 3 years and every visit and phone call has been wonderful. The drs and staff are so over the top loving, bubbly and calming. Dr. Quinn, Miss Addi, and Miss Nichole were so amazing with both of my girls - my 5 yo brave and independent and my 3 yo still a bit shy and wanting to sit with mommy. I took my daughter in for an exam and cleaning today, and she truly loved every minute. The office staff and the dental assistant, Mimi were incredibly kind and friendly, and catered to my daughters needs. As a dentist myself, I was extremely pleased with the level of care my kiddo got, and I am grateful to have a specialist like Dr. Coombs in our area.

I cannot say enough positive things about this dentistry. Today was my daughters first dentist visit and my first time here too as she’s my first child and everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist/assistant, to the dentist were absolutely amazing. I feel every single one of them went above and beyond to make this a positive experience. They answered all my questions and didn’t make us feel rushed. Everyone is so friendly and bubbly and you can really tell that they all love their jobs. So seriously thank you for making it such a great experience.

My husband and I recently took both of our boys to South Hill Pediatric Dentistry for a routine cleaning. Upon arrival, we notified the staff that our youngest who is six years old, had been diagnosed with Autism. The staff treated my son with utmost respect and it was very apparent that they were well trained in working with children who have disabilities. He walked through the doors with anxiety and left with a smile on his face. Thank you for creating a positive experience for our son.

Very professional practice and specifically geared towards children, which is what I was looking for. I also appreciated the detailed explanations given by the dentist as well as the hygienist. Very punctual and efficient.

I dont usually leave reviews but we the best experience today! Everyone was so friendly and took time to answer questions, while still providing a fun experience for my kiddo! I even arrived late by 5 minutes (sorry!) and they apologized to ME for having me wait another 5 minutes. 100% am glad I was referred here and I will continue to refer friends and family!

We just joined this practice and have been very impressed. My kids love coming here so much, they wanted to show up to there appt an hour and a half early!! How’s that for kid approved??

So far, so good! This was our first time at this dentist and it was a fantastic experience. I took a toddler and an older child and they put them at ease. They told me everything that was happening and I was confident they weren’t just trying to make money. They seem like they truly care. It’s a bummer all of the toys, books, magazines are gone, and I would prefer to be allowed to breathe fresh air, but other than that, this is a great place. Kids will be having general anesthesia for their procedures and I’m confident they’re in good hands. I’ll edit if I need to change this. ;)

I dont know how you do it but EVERY SINGLE ONE of your staff is TOP NOTCH! Not only did they treat my daughter with such sweet attention, but I also witnessed 2 other patients being treated like treasured house guests. One boy walked in (well call him Tom) and the male staff member behind the counter, cheerfully says Hey, Tom is here! Hi buddy! WOW. Then, I overheard an interaction between a male dentist and an assistant, with a young girl who appeared to possibly be on the autism spectrum (though I have no idea). She was clearly nervous in the chair and the two staff were so incredibly gentle and encouraging to her, telling her how brave she was, etc and even pausing to talk with her about the trees she noticed outside. WOW, again. You guys are absolutely AMAZING.

Best dentist my kids have ever been too! I travel from the Y on the northside all the way up to 31st just because they are that AMAZING!! I have never had a bad experience! 5 stars in my book!

I told my 4yo that we were going to the dentist the next day, and she could not wait. She woke up counting down the hours before we got to go to the dentist. I dont know of a higher compliment than that. My 2yo son is much more nervous, and the staff are so patient and sweet and accommodating with him.

They are SO good with kids. From the reception desk to the technicians to the doctor, they all treated both kids and adults with respect. They work quickly to get them in an out of the chair to eliminate any anxiety for the kids. At the same time, they are thorough and caring in their practice. They are the BEST!! We have been patients since 2010 and they continue to impress us over and over. The whole staff goes out of the way to make our kids feel comfortable and welcome. They are prompt and professional and just all around a great place to be. I can’t imagine taking our kids anywhere else.

We can’t say in words just how effortless and easy it was to have all “6” of our children(1,3,4,10,11, and 13) see the dentist and hygienists in one day! Our interaction with the staff from the minute we walked in was so warm and friendly. They all went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and informed through the entire process. Our kids loved the waiting room and even sitting in the chairs for their cleaning! Tv screens on the ceiling were a plus and helped them relax throughout the whole process. We can’t say enough about our experience with South Hill Pediatric Dentistry and will be referring all of our friends.

My son had to have a tooth extracted. Kym the assistant who did the numbing was phenomenal, spent time setting expectations, explaining what she was doing, answering questions, and telling us what to look for and when to come back if any complications came up. She was so informative and set everyone at ease. Dr Quinn was amazing, explaining the procedure and talking us through the whole thing. It felt very relaxed and we knew exactly what to expect.One thing that could be improved - while we were in the waiting room with 2-3 other families, a family came in and said they had forgotten a mask and asked if they could get one. The front desk person responded if you dont care, we dont care. This was surprising because all our previous experiences have been great and they have always been cognizant of guidelines.

Can’t recommend enough! Dr. Becky was incredible with our one year old on her first apt! So happy we found them!!!

Weve been going here since my daughter cut her first tooth and they are awesome! Dental Assistant Sarah is AMAZING! She knew exactly what to say to calm my kid and get her to fully comply with directions. They have TVs in the ceilings for kids to lean back and watch while getting their teeth cleaned. My daughter is now begging to go back to the dentist! Love this place.

We have searched high and low for an inviting environment for my kiddos dentist. It’s so normal for kids to be afraid of someone they don’t know poking around in their mouths and my kids are never nervous here. The staff is very friendly and always compliment them when they’re being brave and kind. Movies mounted to the ceiling and toys to play with make it more inviting too. We love the staff and the environment they’ve created here at south hill pediatric dentistry!

We drive a long way to bring all 4 of our kids here. We would not take them anywhere else. The staff and doctors have spent so much time with all of our kids. What stands out- they went above and beyond working with our daughter with HIGH anxiety. They made her feel comfortable and safe with multiple appts. They also had consistency with people she knew and trusted. My kids do not fear the dentist anymore and some actually love to go. ❤️

My kids absolutely love this place. Switched here a couple year ago from another dentist. My oldest child used to be terrified to go the dentist, and SHPD changed all that. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend! The folks at the front counter make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. If you ask nicely, they will even sing for you. Best live show I’ve been to in the last year!

My kids absolutely love going to the dentist because of the fun, safe, friendly environment. Everyone is so kind and go out of their way to make the kids (and parents!) feel at ease. They put such a priority on making the dentist a positive experience. With four kids we’ve run the gamut from the “perfect teeth” to a mouth full of cavities and they make every kid feel good leaving the office. We’re very happy we found them and recommend them to all Spokane families!

Are you kidding me right now? This place is so much better than any other pediatric dentist Ive been in (for my kiddos, naturally) since I became a father. The staff (ALL OF THEM) were super nice, almost they were in some competition in their back office to see who could be the friendliest to the patients and parents. I would highly recommend this smiling staff of kid-friendly medical experts to any and all who live in Spokane.

The office is warm and inviting. The staff are always smiling and pleasant. We usually see Dr. Becky, whom we LOVE. We ended up seeing Dr. Erin today, and she was fabulous! You cant go wrong if you bring your kids to this office.

One exceptional member of their staff is Topher. He has continued to amaze me with his wealth of knowledge and tips regarding insurance. He is the most knowledgeable employee I have ever encountered in any medical setting. He is respectful, very helpful and actually takes the time to answer your questions. Since then we have felt heard with concerns and they have been very attentive to our daughters needs. This place is amazing!! Even though I have moved from the south hill, I continue to still take my kiddos there! The staff is amazing and they really care about kiddos and you can tell! I took my kiddo for an emergency visit yesterday (and I was so happy they were able to get me in to see a dentist the same day!) and again had a great visit. The hygienist who helped me, Nicole, was super informative and soooo good with my kiddo!!!

We have been going to South Hill Pediatric Dentistry fir the last 4 years and have always been so happy with how caring and patient they are with our daughter. She recently had a maxillary frenectomy done using a laser. I was so impressed with the each person that worked with us to make sure she was comfortable, but talking with us first to best meet her needs. The procedure itself was so easy, and that was definitely because of the hygienists and dentists that worked with her.

South Hill Ped Dentistry has always been so awesome! We had Nicole and Dr Quinn today, both did so great with my daughter who was shockingly talkative at her visit! She is 6 and officially loves the dentist thanks to this wonderful group!

I have a 5 yo and 3 yo and they scheduled both together so we could go as a family. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. The hygienists were sweet to my kids, helped them understand was was going on. The dentist was great in explaining what to expect, what she was doing and keeping the kids calm. She talked with me about options of care and recommendations. They had a smooth process of working with new patients and filling out forms online before arrival. Will be returning for any follow up visits

Had a wonderful first patient visit today may 11th. Our hygienist Heidi was thorough in cleaning, noted to me where there was inflammation on the side teeth that are hard for me to reach on my toddler and did some gentle scraping of plaque on bottom teeth and even flossed the teeth. This might have been my 3 year olds 6th visit to a dentist just because I have tried my best to get him seen regularly and I had grown accustomed to hygienists doing a quick 3 minute once-over on his teeth and the dentist not doing much after that (have seen dentists in Arizona, Los Angeles, and Spokane.) This visit was different because my sons teeth are now visibly whiter and quite shiny. Past visits at other practices left the same buildup that I was already dealing with, so I am very surprised and pleased with South Hill. Our dentist Dr. Quinn was awesome, asked a lot of inquiring questions, great bedside manner, extremely customer-oriented, and easy to talk to. I was surprised at the attention given to us throughout this checkup. Highly recommend!

Took my twins here for their first dental appointment. I was stressed about the event. I knew they would both cry the whole time and due to covid you can only have one parent (like anywhere else) which i knew would be overwhelming.These guys made everything feel easy. They got everything done, and got us in and out really quick. I was also able to complete all the forms before hand which was super convienent.They even gave my boys some ducks when they were done. Which they may not have seemed interested in when they were there, but they wanted to play with them all the way home.Loved our visit! We will be back!

Scheduling was super easy and the receptionist was very helpful when giving directions. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant and dentist were exceptional, all very friendly and interacted with my toddler and helped put her at ease. I didnt feel like our appt was rushed at all and both the assistant and dentist were very patient in answering questions and offering recommendations. I highly recommend for any age child!

My kiddos love this place! We came today for our 6 month check up and our second time seeing Dr. Yost and the technician Nicole. They both make my kids feel so comfortable and at ease. My son has ADHD and sensory issues and has the best experience here. Both Dr Yost and Nicole explained everything to me AND to my kids (so the kids know what is going on too). Will definitely keep bringing the kiddos here forever!

We had an amazing experience with South Hill Pediatric Dentistry. We brought both our 4.5 and 2.5 year old. They were able to be in the same room during their check-ups and the staff was incredible at making both youngsters comfortable. I would highly recommend. I dont know anywhere else that would make kids want to go back so badly!

I scheduled our daughter (18 months) for her first dentist appt. and coincidentally she chipped her two front teeth the day before the appt. From the first phone call, the staff was helpful, informative and worked around a tight work schedule to get her in right away. Everyone enthusiastically greeted us upon our arrival and both the hygienist (Hiedi) and Dr. Coombs walked us through the appt. step by step and patiently answered all my questions. Dr. Coombs sang as she checked and brushed my daughters teeth and she loved it. It was so refreshing to see people who genuinely enjoyed working with kids and each other. Thank you so much for making Sadies first dental appt. a positive one!

Well I had to give five stars because south hill peds dentistry has done a excellent job for our 5 children. They attend to each of our childrens ages which are 2yrs,6yrs,6yrs,7yrs, and 14 years old. They meet each one of our childrens needs. They are so excellent that when we moved to Edwall, Wa which is about 35 miles away we still bring them to South Hill Peds Dentistry because of just how amazing they are in their dental care, there professionalism, and their just down right good people with positive vibes. Again there just amazing.

I started taking my kids to this dentist when they were 1 and 3. My kids actually get EXCITED to go to the dentist, it is never a fight and I attribute it to the atmosphere being very welcoming and friendly for kids (also the toys in the lobby don’t hurt). The staff is fantastic with kids and get down and explain things to them on their level. I wish I’d had a dentist like this when I was a kid!

Absolutely love this dentist office for my child, the staff was so friendly not only to me but to my 1 year old son as well. As someone who struggles with anxiety I felt so comfortable, my son even had a screaming tantrum and everyone was so understanding and helpful. To a mom this is everything, highly recommend!

We just had the best dental experience ever! My oldest daughter is 12 and does not like needles. Dr. Erin suggested using the Solea laser procedure for her filling that does not involve a needle/Novacaine. Wow. My daughter did not feel a thing nor was she numb or sore after! I recommend South Hill Pediatric Dentistry and the Solea Laser treatment to everyone with kids that have anxiety about having dental work done on their teeth. Thank you Dr. Erin & Team.

They are amazing! I felt like their health and safety modifications made were great! Face masks, shields, curtains, plexi-glass and sectioned off waiting areas for families. They are the best!

My 8 month old went in 1st dentist appointment And it went so amazing, there were toys for him that he absolutely loved in the waiting room. Front desk staff so warm and welcoming. For the 1st couple check ups, what they do is bring your little one into a separate room so its not as loud and distracting, which I thought was so amazing. It was quick, easy and thorough. Also a week after his appointment they sent a hand written card saying thank you! Doctor Erin was so great with my son and I would 100% recommend this pediatric dentistry to anybody.
