I have gone to Dana Dental multiple times, for multiple reasons. While I thought the receptionist and hygienists provided quality care the dentists did not. One visit, the dentist (I didn’t catch his name) simply applied a fluoride varnish and gave my son a cleaning. He had a tooth with a major cavity and upon receiving a second opinion his tooth needed immediate repair. By the time we went to get a second opinion my sons tooth was too damaged to repair and he had to get it extracted. When I went there myself I was made to feel self conscious about my teeth, simply because I have very minor, lower overcrowding and not perfectly white teeth. Things that do not affect me in any way other than cosmetic, and things I have never noticed until Dr. Brad made such an ordeal about them I walked out feeling so bad about my teeth when there’s really nothing wrong with them. I went back for a filling, and ended up with Dr. Brad again, which proved to be disappointing a second time when I had to be numbed three different times, I know that a lot of factors can affect that but I’ve NEVER had that happen and it was honestly traumatic. I have needed more work done but was so scared of feeling horrible about myself and my teeth that I’ve dealt with pain for over a year out of fear of going to a dentist and having a similar experience like this. Dr. Brads ego far outweighs his care and professionalism in this field, unfortunately. I went to another dentist today with such anxiety, looking back at my visits to Dana Dental, I managed to get through it with the wonderful staff and doctors and it proved worth a drive to Rapid to get the quality care that I truly needed after dealing with Dr. Brad. I am not the type of person to write bad reviews especially calling people out by name but I really have lived in fear of dentists because of this place and guy. I’m writing this in case anyone else is on the fence and feels like they’re too scared to go somewhere new because of the anxiety this place has given you, PLEASE do. Don’t risk your health and happiness with this dental office. The receptionists and hygienists were great but I truly had awful experiences under Dr. Brads care. My husband had a similar experience to mine, being made to feel self conscious by the things they said about his teeth. Things that I believe was not their place to say or imply EVER and was very unprofessional.

Would highly recommend! We are new to the area and we’re very pleased with the staff, service and overall atmosphere of this practice. It was a great experience!

The staff is incredibly helpful, respectful, caring, and interested in maintaining retaining relationships as a client, but also as a neighbor. Dentists and staff want to answer all questions, discuss concerns and options. This is a top-notch service right here in Spearfish.

I am a patient at Dana Dental office in Spearfish, SD. The ladies in the front office are the most amazing professional ladies I’ve ever witnessed. Upon walking in the front door, they call you by name and greet you with a most sincere smile. I’ve overheard them asking about vacation details or family updates as they are making appointments for those patients on the phone. Made me feel like they were so very kind and interested in their patients. The ladies in the back are amazing, in that they explain everything. They have all been so knowledgeable about the procedures and dental care. They look you in the eye and speak in a way that you completely understand. The doctors have been deeply thorough and answer all my questions. It’s great to know all the options and then decide. Then the ladies that handle the “checkout” process have never ceased to amaze me. They are thoroughly familiar with my insurance policy and let me know the best way to proceed. Such a “feeling” of family with everyone. I’m am so happy that I chose this office for my dental needs.

I have been seeing Dr Brad since we moved here nearly 10 years ago. The office has always been friendly and helpful and they use all the latest equipment. When I have a problem tooth they get me in quickly. Last year I had a problem crown before leaving on a trip and I was very worried about whether the replacement crown would be back in time for my flight. They went above and beyond to get it fixed and back in my mouth before we left. I highly recommend them.

Had a great visit today. The dentist and his crew were compassionate and caring. Did a great job explaining procedures. Five plus star rating.

Monique is the best! She cares about her patients, not only their dental health but their well-being on a personal level. She makes every dental procedure comfortable and pleasant. She pays attention to details and can understand you while she has tools in your mouth! I recommend all my friends and co-workers to her.

Id been to several dentists before trying Dana Dental and now I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. They have a very professional and thoroughly competent staff. All with a great dental chair side manner! From the people who greet you when you check in, to the Hygienists, to the Dentists, and finally the people who work with your insurance and schedule future appointments. They make something I hate (going to the Dentist) as pleasurable as it can be!

We have an adult daughter with Autism who needed to be seen quickly. We made an appointment without any problems. The ladies at front desk handled our dental insurance. We moved from Memphis recently, so this was our first visit. As a parent of a special needs child I am concern how well our child will be received. Oh my gosh! Everyone was welcoming, caring, understanding, and patient. I was so impressed that I decided Dana Dental Arts will be our family dentist. I was extremely nervous about my appointment. Debra walked me through exactly what they were going to do and told me again when they were doing it. We had an amazing experience today. Not only did they take extra time to ‘extra’ clean my daughters teeth who just recently had braces put on, but they took the time to show her how to properly brush and explained the reasons why. Today I had my first full exam appt as a new patient.It was the most complete exam I have ever had. I love this office and staff. So thorough, and incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. Brad is very knowledgeable and is always a positive person, the dental hygienist is great and the girls at the front desk are so nice and welcoming. It is a pleasure to visit.

Tech Jurnee did a wonderful job explaining everything she would do in the exam to my daughter. Very calming and did not rush. The doctor in comparison was very loud and quick but it worked out ok.

Staff is friendly and clear in explaining things. They offers thorough direction for home care and preventive measures to keeping your teeth healthy. Doctor Brad does his job with proficiency and accuracy. He listens to his patients, understands their needs and works to fix the issues in a quick timeframe.My only complaint is crowns and other expenses are a little high but all doctors are. And they do offer plans to help you pay that if you don’t have insurance. Just need preapproval. 🙂

I had a new hygienist, Jordan, today, and he was fantastic. They fit me in over Christmas break which was important in this stressful year. I felt very safe with all of the Covid protocols they had in place. Dr. Brad was friendly and kind as always.

My visit today was handled with professionalism. Everyone is very personal & kind. The 4 * is because my waiting time was about a half hour after my scheduled appointment time. I realize things happen to experience the delays, however, possibly then they could notify their patients ahead of time by even sending a quick text that they are running that far behind. Sincere apology & conscientiousness makes all the difference to me & I was apologized for the delay several times, which I appreciated very much! I would highly recommend Dana Dental Arts!

Absolutely fantastic staff. Medical centers are set to a higher standard now because of Covid but Dana’s Clinic has gone above and beyond, to the sanitation of the office space/work, to An air filtration system to sanitize the air! My 3-year-old was very comfortable and because of the wonderful staff, my little guy will never get upset, mad or sad. When he goes to the dentist, just all smiles 😁

I showed up a week late (eek!) for my appointment yesterday and they still fit me in!Update: I had a “horse accident” emergency today. Holiday weekend. The on-call tech met me at the office and get me temporarily fixed up until the office opens again on Tuesday. They are the best!
