I have hired LaPrade Roofing to replace 2 damaged roofs on 2 different properties about 8 years apart. The advice on products appears to have been spot on as both roofs look great and are in excellent condition, even the older one which still looks like new after numerous hailstorms (Class IV shingles were used). The roofing crew, which was the same team each time, works very efficiently. They are also respectful of personal property - no damage to plants or gutters and all debris removed. I had an excellent experience with Tim Bolt and his company, LaPrade Roofing, in Spearfish. The hail storm of June 4, 2020 badly damaged both my home and shop roofs. LaPrade Roofing was recommended by a friend and did a great job replacing my asphalt roofs.Tim has an experienced crew of about a dozen men that he organizes roofing work for. Tim interfaces with the home owner and insurance company to form an equitable contract. In my case I chose to upgrade to Class IV impact resistant shingles at a modest additional cost. LaPrade completed the work on time without any unforeseen problems.I highly recommend Tim Bolt and LaPrade Roofing.

I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. The owner, Tim Boldt, is very responsive in terms of returning calls, and he checks in before and during the time the work is being done. His crew finished our three-story house in one day, and they worked 12 hours to get it done. They too were friendly and hard-working. Their clean-up after was exemplary - no nails, extra materials blowing around, nothing was left in the yard or anywhere else in the yard. A great experience to work with this entire company.

LaPrade roofing did a great job on our 36 unit apartment complex. They were efficient, professional and very good to work with. They did what they said they would, when they said they would do it. They got our job done on time even though there was a blizzard that occurred in the middle of it. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.

N 2015 we hired LaPrade Construction to redo our roof. In one day they removed the old shingles, repaired any defects, installed new vents and applied new shingles. They were respectful of our property and removed all debris including any fallen nails. All work was done in an efficient, professional and timely manner.In April of 2019 we had a roof leak and called Steve LaPrade to check our roof. What he found had nothing to do with the roof. It was deterioration of our chimney. Steve and a co-worker made the necessary repairs after a special trip to get the correct chalk. All the chimney work was done at no charge to us.This is a company that takes pride in their work and customer satisfaction goes beyond expectations as witnessed in fixing a problem that was not theirs.We would highly recommend LaPrade Construction .Judy and Gary Oakley

The entire process was painless- organized with the paperwork, replacement samples, terrific explanation of all stages & made a visit during the “working” stages. Had them re-roof our house and shingles are literally falling off. We have called them numerous times to no avail. They have brought a pallet of shingles and put them in the alley about 2 months ago...I guess they will jump to the roof by themselves....very unhappy with them
