Spending what little extra time I have volunteering for this tremendous organization consistently yields an abundance of feel goods over the pre-event anxiety at having another place to be and another meeting to attend. Get involved people!! And get some free training. These guys do way more good locally than most of us realize.

HOW DO I START SAYING HOW GRATEFUL AND THANKFULL WE ARE OF UNITED WAY., A LITTLE OF OUR STORY WE COULDNT AFFORD TO.PAID OUR RENT THIS MONTH, ONE I WAS FARLOUGH OF MY PRESENT JOB AND IS BEEN 6 WEEKS WITH NO ANSWER OF UNEMPLOYMENT ( COVI19): SO TO MAKE THINGS WORST OUR STIMULUS CHECK WAS KEPT TO PAID A DEBT BUT I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO. WORK NURSING I WAS OFFER COUPLES OF HOURS A WEEK TO VISIT ELDERLY OR DISABLED OR SICK PATIENTSTS WHO NEED CARE AND LOVE SO THOSE HOURS HARDLY MAKE ENOUGH TO.PAID SOME UTILITIES BILLS MY HUSBAND HE IS DISABLED SO HIS INCOME IS NOT MUCH BUT HELP TODAY UNITED WAY PAID OUR RENT IM STILL IN DISBELIEF AND BLESSED AT THE SAME TIME GOD IS SO GOOD .HAVE FAITH IS. HELPING HANDS OUT HERE THANKS AMD GOD BLESSED .

I had to get my taxes done and Heather Witt did them for me and it wasnt a long time nor did it cost me anything to get done. My husband and I are very appreciative for a job well done.

They have partners who help get them money. If you work for one of those partners you can get all the help you want. All they ever do is help people who keep screwing up over and over again. If you work hard and do everything you can to work and help yourself, they will give you a list to call of low income houses youve already called that you need thousands of dollars to move in but if you keep screwing up and not paying your bills then they will give you counselors and deposits for new places and half your rent every few months.
