Horrible service. The new management and employees do not care about customer service. No one greets you or even acknowledges you when you walk in. The previous manager was friendly and all her employees greeted everyone with a smile and “I’ll be right with you”.Huge downgrade in management.
Went to Kay’s to get the wife’s rings and necklace inspected and planned on ordering me a new custom wedding band. Walked in and was told to leave cause I had no mask before anyone asked what I was there for. I then Went immediately next door to helzberg’s and was welcomed in and ordered a brand new custom gold with stones wedding band. You just lost out on a $5000 dollar order and any future business.
Liz and Stephanie are AMAZING! They were so kind and patient and made the search for an engagement ring so pleasant and easy. They didnt have the exact ring in store so they took the time to call to the other stores and ask if they had it. They finally found one and my boyfriend ended up calling the store to further proceed with the purchase. Im so excited and cannot wait to pick out our wedding bands with Kay Jewelers!

I went in to ask about getting a ring resized. She said they couldnt do it, which is fine. But when I asked a follow-up question, she told me to just Google it. Very rude.
We were not even greeted but rathered asked if we had a muzzle (useless mask). Very rude 1st impression. Went to Helzberg jewelry next door, opened a credit account, spent $2000. These businesses impending on our freedoms need to rethink if its a smart decision.
Wasn’t a good experience the First Lady that helped me was rude and acted as if I was wasting time and wasn’t going to buy anything i left there to check out another jewelry store across the mall but went back and the other sales rep was much better and made me feel better about spending cash there made her look real cheesy cause yes I found the ring I wanted and yes I payed cash no finance so next time come at me correct I wouldn’t say don’t shop her just beware of sale rep with no customer service skill of people skills period I even think she was the manager that’s even worse

Sales rep Whitney is AMAZING!!! Came in looking for wedding bands for our upcoming I Dos. We were on a tight budget and Whitney made it happen! Great experience.
Well, my boyfriend and I went to Kay in search of an engagement ring, and we were greeted kindly by one odd the consultants. She was super kind and showed me 3 rings that both my boyfriend and I loved. She made us a profile and showed it to us both. There was no email to confirm the meet after. So I called the store and asked could I go online to see the rings again. A different woman, who took the time to look for my profile said it was nowhere to be found. To include, she even asked who helped me twice and I gave her the individuals name, the day, the time, and even the style of ring. I am upset with the simple fact that I had found what I wanted and now I can not even see it or know the skew number to at least look it up. If necessary I will come back to look for it but other than that I think not.
This is nothing to do with this location. I’ve always been helped greatly in this location. Hoping it catches the eye of someone higher in the company to resolve an issue I had with an online order.I’ve been using Kay’s for years on my jewelry needs for parents and wife’s Christmas presents. This year I decided to order my wife a ring she liked a lot. I go and place my order and enter my card info in and it goes through a verification of their system and says unauthorized. I entered the exact same info in and it was accepted then to continue on placing the order. Well I check my bank the next afternoon and they charged me twice for this purchase and caused my bank account to run into the negative. Also having my bank charge me nearly $360 in over draft fees due to things that weren’t cleared out of my account yet. Money was returned 2 days later. It’s absolutely a disgrace of a company who will blame you for a mistake caused through their website and won’t resolve an issue. After years of spending my hard earned money with them, it will no longer be used there.

Had a great experience at this location with Stephanie Gonzalez!! She helped me order a wheat chain and pendant, also got me the %30 off for both items just in time for the Mother’s Day sale since it ended today!! I will definitely be coming here again and telling everyone that Is looking for jewelry to come here. She had excellent customer service and vast knowledge in everything she was showing me. She explained everything she was doing what would look best (pendant size) for the chain I was getting. She could have up-sold me but she didn’t she wanted me to be happy, comfortable and confident in what I was buying and have me not regret my purchase. I came here after the Wade Hampton store tried to screw me over, I was going to be done with Kay’s jewelry all together but I figured go to the WestGate mall and give it another shot and I wasn’t disappointed! I’m glad I went to WestGate and have it another chance she did everything perfect she went above and beyond for me.

Initially my husband and I had a pleasant experience. However, after ordering his wedding band things have taken a turn for the worse. It has now been a month since the order was placed and no one can tell me where his ring is. UPS indicates that the ring was delivered and signed for but no one can seem to locate it. How do you lose hundreds of dollars worth of product?! The customer service line has been about as useless as most of the in store associates. The email and text alerts are a joke and literally provide no information. Do NOT order a ring from Kays unless youre doing it a year prior to your wedding and youre cool with not knowing where your expensive jewellery is. (We went to a location in Spartanburg, SC)
Awesome experience, I purchased a ring online and went to the store to insure that everything went according to plan, later when the ring came in and I went to pick it up the service was fast and very friendly. Ramon did a great job explaining the services that Kay provides for my purchase.
You better be thankful this review makes me give you a star otherwise it would be zero stars. Rude, sorry customer service. The Manager is rude and has no people skills. I sent a $495.00 mens Citizen watch to be engraved for our anniversary. I received it back and it literally looks like they took a screw driver to pop the back off. It is badly starched in 2 different places. The engraving is not centered and runs into the Citizen branding already on the watch. They poorly handled it and now refuse to do anything about it. I have called 2 different customer service lines and have wrote several reviews. I am pissed. I am currently waiting on customer service to get back with me. Something will be done or you will see me on the news for buyer beware. In the end the store will pay because we did do a lot of business with them and we will never go there again. A huge loss to them.
Ordered custom engagement ring in store on November 18th. Told the lady I was buying from it needed to be a size 4. Picked up ring on December 22nd. Lady that sold me ring did standard picture taking of ring for record, warranty,insurance etc. Proposed on December 25th. When I proposed I quickly realized ring was way too big and not even close to fitting. 2 days later fiance had dentist appointment in Shelby,NC so she decided to take it to Kays at the mall to see about getting it resized while she was in the area. Come to find out it was actually a size 7! Aggravating but no biggie. She wasnt gone 10 min and Kays calls back saying ring did not have insurance on it and we would have to pay $50 to have it resized. I immediately called Spartanburg store to talk with the lady that sold me ring. Shes tells me Shelby store is wrong I have insurance and warranty on ring. Doesnt offer to call or help look into issue to resolve. After talking to multiple Kays employees throughout the rest of the day, finally right before closing they are able to find that it does in fact have insurance and resizing would be covered. Roughly a week later Kays calls and informs us that the ring cannot be resized that small due to the diamonds in the band would come loose and fall out. Im also I formed that it is known in the jewelry community that whoever sold me the ring should have known that it is not possible to size that particular band that small for previously stated reason. While the Shelby,NC store has moved at somewhat of a slow pace. They have taken steps to try and make right what Spartanburg store messed up. Today is January 28th and we are still roughly 1 week away from having a ring in hand. In a nut shell we have been offered a temporary ring (original ring resized even though diamonds will fall out) for her to wear when it is scheduled to arrive next week. In the meantime they are making a custom band to replace hers where the diamond will not wall out which is scheduled for roughly March or April. I will not ever return to the Spartanburg Kays and have already told many people about our troubles.Again, I have yet to receive a call or any kind of contact from original store or sales/management that I ordered ring from.

I married the man of my dreams 11 years ago and again last year on our 10th year. We went into Kay Jewelers where we met this amazing young lady named Erin. She did not push anything on me that I did not want. she let me experiment with all kinds of different Jewellery until we come up with the perfect engagement ring and wedding band for me. My ring is more than just a symbol of marriage to my best friend but its also a symbol of life as I was stricken with a very rare disease that only 16 people in the world have. Erin worked with me to make my ring the perfect symbol of love, life and happiness. She is recently became one of my closest and best friends. who I love with all my heart. If you are looking for the most amazing experience please take the time to go into Kay Jewelers at the mall in Spartanburg you wont be disappointed. To me, all the employee at Kay Jewelers are absolutely amazing! If you are looking for an amazing company this is where you should go!🍃Mrs.Buggables🐛
Couldnt figure out how to open an account and accept a down payment at the same time. after that was straightened out, they fail to mention to bring the ring in every six months for inspection to keep the insurance valid. after a Dimond fell out 7 months into owning ring I had to pay full price to have it fixed. go somewhere else. its just isnt a good branch
The sales staff is very helpful, Stephanie is the best! She has personally helped me out many times, from upgrading my wifes diamond to having custom jewelry made.
Had a great experience at Kay Jewelers everytime i need a gift i will head back to mall . My favorite sales person is Stephanie. I was walking into the store and she was walking out. She asked me if I needed help and I told her Im in a rush I need a quick gift.She responded I was about to go on my break to grab something to eat but i can wait, let me help you out.I couldnt decide about this one gift at this particular time but the fact that she decided not to take her break just to help me out showed me how nice of a perosn Stephaine really is.I end up buying three gifts and I end up getting a KAYs Jewellery credit card that same day thank you Stephaine....

Bought a ring had it sent off to get it sized and when I got it back it wasnt the same ring. The other ring looks dirty and old the color is black instead of blue
