Never take your car to get detailed here.My carpets were left with whatever cleaning solution they use and it made them sticky to the touch.Under one of my back carpets there was still throw up from my dog which is why I took it to get detailed. There were a ton of crevices that were not cleaned.The point of a car DETAIL is to pay attention to the detail.Do not get your car cleaned here.

I live in North Carolina and was looking for a Camry Hybrid XLE. Needless to say, many of the new cars are hard to find these days. Anyway, during my search, I found on the Toyota website various cars being shipped with estimated due dates to dealers. I found the exact package and color I was looking for and traced it to Dave Edwards Toyota in South Carolina. The first person I spoke with on the phone was Stephanie, very helpful and kind and helped lock the car down with a deposit. I was then introduced via text to the salesperson Joseph, that would see the deal through. Joseph contacted me on the phone and was very professional and kind. We set up a preliminary deal based on a trade value from my description and photos. Joseph made everything seamless and easy. A couple of days later the car arrived, they got it ready and I drove down to the dealership from North Carolina. Joseph was great in person as well and gave me a very detailed introduction to my new car, as well as setup google play and other apps. Beware of service prices. I went for my regular oil change and paid $62. I about fainted. You are required to have an appointment, which I did and waited in the bay about ten minutes before being acknowledged. When my car was done, I received a call. I told them I was in the waiting room. A lot of changes there. Not like it once was. Disappointed.

I called and got a price on reprogramming a key which was $80 and while I was there I decided to get a synthetic oil change supposedly $34.99.And when I receive the bill it was for a re-program in the key and a regular oil change and the bill was $149 and some change. When I said something about what I have been quoted before the service was done and after the service was done and asked why was it so much different they said they didn’t quote me the labor charges and when I said something about the oil change I asked why did I not get a synthetic oil change and they said they didn’t do it. They put regular oil in it. So I looked at the customer service agent and told him congratulations I had made My last trip to Dave Edwards Toyota and that I had previously bought cars every since it was LP Pits Toyota. Through the years probably 12 to 15 vehicles that I have bought from them Since 1980 . It was my very first brand new vehicle at the age of 19. So I guess loyalty doesn’t matter anymore. I will not be back.

I took my Camry in for an air conditioner problem. They wanted to charge me $200 for the work. Then they wanted to replace my coolant, water pump and belt. That theyll replaced less than three years ago. Dont try to rip me off. Going to Toyota of Greenville from now on.

Love my new (to me) car! I saw exactly what I wanted and my sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about that particular car and showed me the new technology I wasn’t used to so I would know how it worked. Everyone was friendly and they were the fastest I’ve experienced at 2.5 hours start to finish. The financial processing was fast and the tools they use were up to date and green. I received all my docs on a flash drive instead of a fat envelope to keep track of.

The tire pressure was approx 6 psi different off between the 4 tires after they were rotated.

Sometimes I question whether they actually complete all the inspection checks and rotations etc. Like they are supposed to.

I went to the Dealership on this occasion for routine service. The service work performed during my visit was efficient and timely for which I am appreciative. However, during the visit someone in the process did minor damage to the leather of my steering wheel. I returned to the dealership when I realized the damage had occurred and called this to the attention of management. The manager looked at the damage and said they would check into my issue and call me. I am not overly concerned with the damage but their failure to follow through concerns me.

Ronnie knew everything about an Avalon. He spent tons of time making sure I wouldn’t have to read the handbook. He has great stories, sent us to a fantastic restaurant, and met with me after the sale to help me learn more about the many intricate operations of the car.

I bought a 2017 Genesis G80 from them a month ago and its already having transmission problems and they refuse to fix it. The car also had an open safety recall on it that they didnt fix before they sold the vehicle to me!!! They lied and said they didnt know about the recall, they have to check all that stuff before they even put the car on the lot to sale!!! I will not ever buy a car from them again!!!

When I arrived, the girl who checked me in was not very friendly. I didn’t need to be told 4x that since I had my vehicle for 14 months, with only 3910 miles in it, I should have had it in sooner. And that I should have had the recall done sooner. Also told several times.I received notice of my recall yesterday in the mail. So, apparently, I hadn’t been notified of this.After almost 2 hours, with an appointment, she came and told me that everything checked out ok. That’s good. Because it’s a new car.The recall was something to do with the fuel gauge and the low fuel notice not syncing.I get in my car, that had over a quarter of a tank in it when I got there, only to have it on empty and saying refuel. No miles left. I got out and asked her if they had reset it. She called the shop and the guy said “She didn’t have any gas” That’s it. No, oops, we should have told her she’s got no gas. But no, let’s just see if she can make it to a gas station on luck and a prayer.When we go to Greer, they vacuum the vehicle out. Not in Spartanburg. I understand now why my husband has been taking our vehicles to Toyota of Greer for years.This wasn’t a horrible experience, but every bit of this could have been handled a lot better than it was. It’s called customer service and Spartanburg Toyota employees should go work at Scott Clark’s or Greer and learn what that means.

Dave Edwards Toyota is a dealership that should be ashamed of itself and you should avoid. They have no regard for actual laws(Hippa) and follow latest trends to screw employees and the general public. They want to force their employees to do something dangerous for their financial gain.
