Guys are great. Good service and prices. Highly recommend.
I needed a part for my trailer. I had called several other stores and everyone was out of the part and wouldn’t be able to have it in stock for several weeks. I called Washoe Metal fab and was greeted with an extremely nice gentleman who knew exactly what I needed and was able to overnight it for me! Not only did the part come in the next day but they also installed it and showed me how it worked! Extremely nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Will be getting all my trailer parts from them in the future!
They may be slow, but they do poor work. Only kidding, everyone from the owner on down that we dealt with did their best to accommodate our needs. They installed a 5th wheel hitch in the back of our new 2019 F350, which caused them a little more work as it has an aluminum bed. Cost was, in my opinion quite reasonable. I would have given them 5 stars, but when I hooked my trailer up I found that the installer neglected to install the pins that connected the hitch to the rails. No large, just shocked me when I hooked up and saw 2 of the places where the pins go sticking up in the air. I corrected the situation and down the road I went. Highly recommend this company.
Way nice people. They do mufflers and exhaust (very skilled) also alignments and of course trailer repairs. Did exhaust on 2 vehicles and was very impressed.
Washoe Metal Fabrication saved our vacation! We were blown away by how much care and effort they put into helping us out of a jam when our RV broke down. We will forever be grateful for all they did. Thank you for your excellent service and kind hearts.
Great place, super friendly people.
Do Not Go Here!!! I had a small boat trailer axle that I was unable to get bearings and hub back onto. I wasnt sure if there was damage to the spindle (since the bearings had disintegrated), or if I was just having issues since it was my first time trying to replace the bearings on my own. Scott came out and looked at my axle and said it was bent and needed to be replaced with a heavier axle. I questioned this but didnt know, so I trusted Scott, who seemed nice and professional. He told me, he would call me with a quote the next day, but he thought it would be less than $200 for a new axle (possible new hubs if needed) and to have the bearings packed. I brought my axle in on a Monday and he thought I should get it back by Wednesday or Thursday.Scott never called with my quote. I called the day after he was supposed to call me. I never completely understood exactly what was happening, but my understanding was that they were not going to be able to order an axle that small, so they were going to have to fabricate one in their shop. It was now going to cost $280 and wouldnt be ready till the following Monday or Tuesday.By noon on Monday, when I hadnt heard anything, I thought I would call to see what the status of my axle was. After 5 minutes on the phone the friendly sales rep was unable to find my work order and said she would have Scott call me later in the day. However, I never got a call back.I call back on Tuesday morning, Scott now tells me that they are waiting on the axle be delivered but it should be ready on Wednesday or Thursday morning depending on when it arrives.By 2pm Thursday, I still hadnt heard from them, so I again must call. After dealing with the same missing work order issues, Scott tells me that now it wont be ready until Monday or Tuesday of the next week. Two weeks later, when I was told this would take a couple of days. I told them I would be picking up my new axle Friday at noon, or I would be taking my old axle elsewhere.Friday at 9:30 they call and tell me my axle is ready. I go to pick it up, but now they are trying to charge me over $400 for it. I end up getting my quoted price, but when they load it into my truck, I notice that they had not touched my hubs/bearings at all and now I still have the same issues that I went there with. When I go back inside, Scott says that they can do it, but they will have to charge me for it. At this point I just decided to leave.I ended up taking the new axle to Sparks Trailer and Repair. Within two hours they had the bearings packed and ready for me to pick up, and after looking at my old axle, they told me it would have worked, and I didnt need a new axle to begin with. I highly recommend Sparks Trailer and Repair.Do not go to Washoe Metal Fabricating. The customer service was not great, the communication horrible, and they will waste your money.
My family and I went to Washoe Metal because we were recommended by a friend of my fathers. We were getting ready to buy a 5th wheel and go on a trip to Yosemite. However we had never done anything like this and I had a million questions. The only person that was helpful here was the girl Crystal at the counter. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, kind and courteous even though she seemed to be the only one taking care of everything. She was the only one with answers and everyone was calling upon her. I actually felt quite bad for her but she handled it all so well with a smile on her face. However if it werent for our pleasant experience with her I wouldnt even send in a positive review. The tech Jay from the shop was rude and his phone was cursing in front of my children. The place looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years and you could catch something at any moment & There was no parking. Crystal you deserve better girl get out of that place.
Great service and very friendly.
Did a great job on my trucks new airbags! Have always gotten good service here!
Courtesy and friendly was told job would take 3 hours and it was
We needed help attaching a hitch to our truck. Super friendly and helpful staff got it done in no time. We will definitely return here for future needs.
I went in today to ask about replacing all the rusted bolts on my sailboat trailer or at least information on the type I could use. The sale person would not stop talking about the bunks and that any regular bolts is what I needed. I tried to explain I wanted to use stainless steel or graded bolts on the bolts that will support the sailboat. She only told me about they only use regular bolts . I will not refer anyone here for any trailer supplies and If I go somewhere else and the refer me here I will ask about getting referred somewhere else, even if I have to drive to Carson City. Bad customer service.
My wife and I were traveling to Reno when the exhaust pipe broke at the manifold. They got us in right away, and gave us a very fair price which was very appreciated. Wish this shop was in my town, would defiantly recommend.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! An extraordinary above and beyond”-experience! Extremely friendly and competent staff, with great sense for customer service and communication. Me and my family had a whats called a catastrophic failure on our travel trailers and we could not have asked for more from the amazing staff att Washoe Metal! Three people worked overtime to get our camper ready in time, and Eric, the manger, even fixed our broken stoplight (not a part of the scope) himself AND gave us an extra bulb free of charge, 40 min after closing time! THANKS AGAIN, was great pleasure doing business with you guys!
Horrible Service. was told our vehicle would be worked in within the week by owner. 4 weeks later the have not even started. I have called owner laughsand oh yeah, forgot have it done by next wed. . I talked to other Scott who laughed whenI called to pick up and stated the other Scotty is a flake and doesnt work onwed! H would try and get it in morning, a day later. day after that has not even started it. Scot the owner argued and said how he said everything different to me.Well the app on my phone recorded every conversation clearlyScotty. Very poor business practices, plus you threatened to hang up on my wife because she is up set at your awful service! Customers beware!
The staff was wonderful, problem taken care of quickly. I highly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.
Very friendly, fast service, looking forward to using them in the future. Super resourceful.
Absolutely the most incompetent business Ive ever had the displeasure of working with. Their welds on my plow broke in the first week. They put a bolt through my air conditioning condenser when mounting the bumper, and didnt tell me because it was winter and they knew I wouldnt find out. They took fog lights off and didnt put them back on, never had them returned to me. Tons of hardware was left off the last time they mounted the front bumper out of sheer laziness. Electrical connections for winch didnt work in rear winch mount. I was driving from Tahoe for this bs. They even scheduled me to come in on a day they were closed! The worst!!!!
I have done for tonight pleasure with dealing with this business I came in last Friday and purchased $1124 worth of parts at which point the person helping at the counter loaded all of my parts into a cart and then loaded them into my truck upon Paying for them at which point this place gave me extra parts that I did not ask for that I might add was the incorrect parts This morning walked into this establishment to return these parts to get the correct ones At which point I was dealing with The same person that helped me out before he was having a hard time doing the return because they messed up and charged me for one at which point he gets his very rude at in professional shop manager to come over and accusing me of stealing them and then wanted me to pay him more money I would never go back to this place again a huge rip off They messed up all over the $2.99 cap I would not even send my worst enemy to the store also might I add I’ve been dealing with the store for 10 years or better have spent an extreme amount of money in the store on parts and fabrication work at which point they lost all of my business over accusing me of stealing parts that their employee loaded into my truck if you know what is good for you you will just stay out of their parking lot
They fixed and reinforced my hitch, did solid work, good time turn around and pricing. Professional.
Ordered two dolley straps in a pinch and was charged 100 dollars for 30 dollar straps. Found them elsewhere for 35 dollars. Canceled my order with these jack holes and was charged a 15% restocking fee pf 35 dollars? Will never do business with them again. Neither will any of my customers or friends.
👎👎👎. After paying top dollar to have my 5th wheel hitch installed by these HACKS, I first discovered that they didnt install 2 of the critical lynch pins that hold the hitch in place!! After finding this and had been told I was good to go down the road, I called the owner and demanded that everything be QC and torques rechecked! Was told once again I was good to tow my 15K pound 5th wheel down the road, I discover that one of the 3/4 bolts and nut that shouldve been torque to 150 ft lbs per the manufacturer was hand tight!! I DO NOT recommend these idiots to anyone!! Can not believe I was sent down the road like that and endangered myself, my family and everyone else on the road!! 👎👎👎👎
I Needed a solution for 5th wheel trailering, and they went above and beyond, including cleaning up the wiring on my truck to ensure a clean install. Everything looks and works great, i would highly recommend. I ended up going with a B and W turnover ball gooseneck and Anderson ultimate 5th wheel package.
I would leave no stars if I could. Needed a front end alignment and a warning light suggested I also needed a pump for smog system (a common issue). They didnt meet their time commitments on the alignment or this add on fix. After repeated calls, (and no return calls as promised) they finally took care of the work requested as I left work to check on things personally and sat in their lobby while the work was done. And ofcourse, they indicated the ECM (computer) must be bad as the warning light did not resolve once the pump was changed out. (They had my truck for a week to get this far). They asked for more time to research the error on the ECM and would get back to me. Nothing. tick tock tick tock. More nothing. Several phone calls and no return call. I spoke to Eric (owner or manager) and he indicated he would have it resolved for me within a day. 3 days later, I picked up my truck, still sitting in their parking lot where it was left days before. I actually had to ask if it was roadworthy before I took it as no one seemed to have a clue where they left off on the work. When I picked up my truck, I told them I was taking my vehicle to the dealer and the woman behind the counter arrogantly tells me reno dodge did business with them and would most likely just take my truck back to them. This shop has definitely gone down hill fast. I will definately be taking my future business elsewhere.
They got me in when I had an emergency and took care of my horse trailer in a very short time. Good people.
